In this video, Danielle will show you the differences between 4 types of wig construction and how to choose which type of wig cap is best for you. First is a machine teased wig, which has more fullness on the top. Second is a monofilament wig, which has each hair sewn in one at a time and lays flatter on the top. Third is a monfilament wig with a lace front, which has the monofilament top and a piece of lace in the front which makes the hairline look completely realistic. And last is the monifilament, lace front wig that is hand-tied. This has all the benefits of the monofilament and lace front, and is also hand-tied, meaning there are no wefts, it lays very flat and is extremely comfortable! She will show you the inside of each wig and then put each wig on as well.

Hi, I'm Danielle with Godiva secret wigs today, I'm going to talk about the difference between a machine made, wigs, a monofilament, wig, a monofilament lace, front wig and a hand-tied wig. So the first one I want to show you is our way called. Candice and C is a machine T's wig so on the inside. All you're going to see is this fabric and on the top you're going to see just hair. Now I'm going to put it on so you can see so here's Candice. So I know Cece has a lot of really great volume and I didn't I spent literally zero time styling her right now. Look how great she looks right. So she has great volume and if you part it here, all you're going to see is what looks like hair and because of the roots. It still looks really natural, but this is just a machine tease wig. This is actually one of our most popular long styles and machine teased. Wigs really are popular, so the next one I want to show you is a monofilament wig. So this one on the inside you'll see each hair is actually sewn in one hair at a time, and it looks like this mesh and on the top you'll actually see if you part it it'll, actually look like scalp. You see my finger moving here. You can actually see right through it, so let me put this one, and this is our Shane Amano wig and this color is nut mega. So here's an so automatically you can see it's playing a little bit flatter than the Candace was laying and if I part it up here see here, you can actually see it looks like your scalp, which is really natural. So in general, if you're a person that wants a perfect part or really flat wig on a top on the top you're going to want to go with the monofilament wig, if you want fullness on the top, it's going better to go with a machine peas. Wigs now this one being just a monofilament, if I lift it up here, you can see you can kind of see the line where the wig starts. So that's without a lace front. The next I'm going to show you how the lace front so again that was our sheena in nutmeg, so this next one i'm going to show you her name is rachel mono and the color is english poppy now on the inside again you're going to see these Pairs are sewn in one one hair at a time for the monofilament and up here in the front, it has this little piece of waste, that's making it the least front and same thing when you flip it over. When you look in here here, you can see my finger moving around and that says that monofilament top now, let me show you how she looks so again automatically you see it lays a lot flatter, get my hair out of here. So without me doing anything it's laying pretty flat and if you look here look up here, you see it looks like your scalp and then the main difference with this one is it has that lace front? So when I lift up here, if you look, it just looks completely like a natural hairline. You don't see where the wig starts at all. That'S from that lace front. It lays really nicely and our lace fronts are already cut. So they're short enough. You don't have to do any cutting of your own if you don't want to so again. This is the Rachel, and that is a monofilament lace front. Now the next one I'm going to show you her name is Naomi and she is still has that monofilament here, which is, you know, put in one hair at a time, and then she has the lace front and her lace front actually goes from ear tab to Ear tab and then she is hand tight. So as you'll see, there's no West ears is all done by hand, it's a mess and it's really soft and comfortable. So this is the Naomi we put her on and show you and the color is cinnamon toast. So again, being the monofilament you'll see she's laying flatter on my head. So here's that monofilament you laying nice and flat and then here you'll see the lace front. So you don't see where the wig starts and it actually is going to go all the way around to the side and then being that she's hand tied - and you can't see it, but she feels very flat to my head: there's no Wes or anything. So it's literally you're going to lay very very flat to my head all the way around. So those are the four different types of wigs: the machine teams, the monofilament, the monofilament was a lace front and then the monofilament lace front that's hand tight. Now these are all going to get more expensive, as you add, more features to the wig, but now you'll understand why? So I hope that helps you understand the different types of leaks.
