Uniwigs Skyler ~ Light Blue Pink Grey Bob Synthetic Lace Front Wig Review & Style

Hi everyone it's rachel today, i'm going to be showing you the uni, wigs skyler wig that uni wigs have kindly sent me to review in the box. You get a wig cap and some more combs. If you want to sew them in, they come pretty much as standard i found with all of their wigs, and this is skylar. So, as you can see, according to the website, she is light. Blue pink grey bob synthetic lace front wig, it's a bit of a mouth from get her out the net. If you follow me on instagram you'll see that i have tried her on briefly, but i haven't even cut the lace yet all right, so light blue, pink, grey, bob synthetic lace, front wig, i'm sure. If you can see the colors on there, i'm hoping you can see the pink and the blue coming through on that, but it is such a gorgeous color on the website. I think she looks a bit more blue than she's actually arrived, but you can just really see that blue and that pink in there and gray yeah there. She is right. She is a. She has a 13 by three lace front on her, which i don't actually think i've seen a wig like this before so all new to me, as you can see, so the lace goes all the way around ear to ear and then back. If you're partying a bit difficult to show you there, it is she's wefted sides and back and she has got the little combs in if they need it. Like i said i haven't, actually cut the lace on it, yet i will cut that shortly. Is average cap size which is 22.5 inches circumference on their website yeah, so she's got the three flexi combs in there. She has the just. Oh four she's also got a comb at the back there, the adjustable sort of hook straps on her. She doesn't have the ear tabs because if you say the lace goes over, i should be able to cut that around my ear slightly oh yeah, so there she is. She is a bob, so she's only 12 inches. I suppose the next thing is just for me to try her on beautiful coloring. This is our straight on i've not done anything. I haven't cut the lace or anything here, but hopefully, by the end of this video i will have cut the lace styled it and you'll be able to see what this wig really is like, but i'm just honestly, i'm so blown away by the hairline on this. But yeah so she's, approximately 12 inches do a quick walk around and she feels so soft. She is heat friendly fibre as well, which is handy to know. Let'S show you so as you can see. So, although she is um average sized cap which they're saying is 22.5 inches, i do have quite a small head. So what i'm planning on doing is, i will cut around that lace, so it goes just above my ear it might even it should sit quite well. Then, but as you can see, the lace goes all the way ear to ear. So when she's cut, you can have her tied back as much as you like. Look at that, so my plan is to cut the lace. I may pluck a few hairs just to give the more natural look, maybe if you're in the part as well. I will also straighten her because i'm not a fan of this bouncy. Look i like a more straight modern. Look, let's see if you can see the colors in there since she's got like a darker rooted, gray root and then like a bit of blue coming through a bit of pink gray like a pastel midnight sky. I read that on their website. I thought that sounds. Lovely a nice chunk of blue there, but it's subtle! It'S not full-on! In your face. I really like her, so i suppose i better cut that lace to get it to fit a bit better i'll. Do that off camera and come back. I have cut the lace on her. I should probably have tightened her up as well. Actually so, as you can see, she now sits over my ear. I'Ve cut it so it'll go in there. I think, should benefit from a bit of got to be glued. Also, do not worry when you're cutting the lace, i'm no expert, and this is what to cut around the year. I'Ve actually had to cut the lace with hair on it. So don't panic, it is quite scary. Just do it little by little. So now, when i pull that down, it's not over my ear, obviously you might not have wanted to cut off as much as i did, or you could cut off more really, i'm trying to think i've forgotten about having like a little sideburn with light. So no idea what it's supposed to be like. Obviously it gives a far more natural edge on it than wigs that are just temple to temple lace front. I am now going to go and pluck a little bit here just to widen that part a little bit. Maybe pluck along this edge just to blend it, so it looks a bit more natural and straightened. I might even just put a bit of drop to be glued on the edges and show the potential. This wig has obviously she's ready to go now. I'D quite happily wear her like this she's, so soft, not a heavy wig at all, very lightweight and those colors, so very subtle yeah. I suppose the bounce in her is quite nice me saying that i'm going to straighten it because i don't like it but yeah. I do like more poke straight, which is definitely wearable, so i'll, be back, hopefully fully styled soon, which is a first for me. If you watch any of my videos, i'm just a pop on and go kind of girl, but this one i really want to give it a try because, like i said, i'm really happy with this hairline. I just i like that. I missed obviously for someone like me with alopecia no hair at all. This is nice being able to have the hairline all the way around so yeah i'll be back here. She is plucked straightened cut. All sorts doesn't sound as much as it's it's not. I didn't do that much to it really and i will apologize now. It is so hot today that i just didn't have the patience for my lace to glue down properly, so i have glued it, but it's probably gon na flap up. I didn't actually glue the top because i didn't think it needed it. It was just mainly oh, where it's popped up as you can see. I'Ve cut around my ear, but i also cut these hairs a little bit shorter. You can't actually see that now. Well, i have a couple of shorts, obviously that would be glued down in an ideal world, but i'm just so hot and sweaty at the moment that side that side sort of stayed down a bit better. I did pluck a little bit, but i didn't want to overdo it. So obviously it's always going to be a work in progress. I think it's not until you go out and you see photos and different lights that you think. Oh hang on a minute, but realistically this could, let's just say just where i'd feel comfortable with that off my face. So it's got a nice natural again, you could put more baby hairs in it. If you want, because i noticed on the website it's down as a cosplay wig, so it's super cheap, but i think you can do a lot with it really does. Obviously that's been straightened ever so quickly. You know me, i don't be good if i don't have real hair, because i'm useless at looking after it so yeah, i can take them out now it was just for the purposes of i'm super. I did notice while i was straightening it the roots, although i said they're grey they're, quite like a dark gray. They'Re very they've got a lot of blue in them. It was quite nice seeing all the colors. You can see the colors a lot more. Obviously, when you look a bit closer - and i hadn't noticed that before blue, pink and gray and again back to the cap slides, it says average size cap 22.5 inches, but it is quite large on my head. I think it probably if i was gon na wear this a lot. I would benefit from just nipping the cap in just ever slightly, but overall super happy for that. This is the skyla wig from uni wigs.
