Lace Front Candyfloss Pink Wig ♥ What A Drag Uk Review ♥

Hey beautiful, welcome back to my channel, i hope you're all doing well today. Honey. Have i got a surprise for you. The pink makeup is on because we're doing what something pink. So i actually have something very different. Today i have a lace front wig that i have ordered from a uk company called what a drag. I have the package right here. I already opened it, but i haven't got the wig out yet so we're going to do this together. Let me tell you a little bit about what a drag the uk brand and it is run by brad and dom, and this is their story, so they say our story, hello, we're brad and dom, and we started what a drag in october 2018.. So basically, they have a lot of different things on their website that they sell, which is i mean it's it's good and you know i always always one of my big things on my channel is that i like to support small uk business, because i think that It'S important and you know i think people should support small uk businesses. This is what i like to do. Anyways, let's get into the unboxing of the week, so my wig is actually called. I don't know what it's called. Let me check what it's called arena: candy, floss, pink wig. This is what it says: description featuring a six inch parting baby hairs and an extra large lace front. This wig is going to have you looking sickening also includes an adjustable strap, so one size fits all. All wigs come in a pink water, dried carry bag to keep them safe. So this is what it says here: styling your wig. Our wigs are made of synthetic fibers that can take heat up to 170 degrees. Bear that in mind, if you're planning on styling your wig, which is really good, because a lot of synthetic wigs you can actually style, which means you can change it up. If you want, and also about cutting the lace, uh yeah, we know about this cleaning the lace, but it's really good. They basically have a page that tells you how to do everything and how you can look after everything as well. So this is quite good anyway. Let'S get into the package, so it came like this. My only thing i would say is that it did come in a paper envelope and it did actually arrive. Obviously this was sealed at the top, but it did arrive ripped like this and so that possibly maybe something they should look at, maybe getting something a bit stronger and i just wanted to say that it's not a bad thing. I'M not hating. I'M just saying that this is what happened, so i think maybe that could be something that they could look at and then this is what it comes in. It comes in this really nice kind of silky bag, which is quite nice, and one thing i say is it smells like perfume, so they obviously have taken the extra time to make it smell, really good, which i really appreciate because hello, you know what no one's Anything that smells gross, so that's cute and you get your invoice here to your invoice um. I should also say this: wig was 54.99 and then you also get a little personalized letter which they signed, which is really cute as well. It says thanks for your order. I'D say it's for ev everyone who likes a little bit of extra glam in their life. You know so here we go. This is it here. If you can see it says what a drag, let's take the wig out. So this is the wig here, oh she's, long honey. She is long, okay um, so we have the wig she's long. I love it and then you also get a wig cap as well. So let me see i'd like to say i am somewhat yeah. You get. You get a wig cap as well. I am somewhat of a novice with lace front wigs. I have worn them in. Even this smells nice. I have worn them in girl. Everything smells so nice. I have worn them in the past and uh yeah. It was a long long time ago, but it's been a while, since i've actually done a lace front moment. So this is going to be exciting and i love the color of it, especially since my hair is so dark now as well. So here let me just take the net off get off me. Wow, look at this. It'S nice and thick. The hair feels nice and smooth. It feels like it actually feels really good quality like i don't feel like it would tangle, because you know sometimes, when you get a wig you can just you can just tell, and you feel that it's going to tangle straight away. So this is the front, so it does come with some baby hairs already. I might add a few more though to be honest, so this is the front of the wig. How can i show you this? Let me i have a head. Let me put it on the head for you: i'm not going to pin it down, but i'll just put it on the head, so you can see a little bit better. It does have a 360 lace, so there's lace at the front and there's also lace. If i can show you at the back as well, so it does come with 360 lace and it has quite a deep parting as well. So you can pick where you want the parting to sit yeah, it does have some. It does have baby hairs all around. Actually - and it's it's pre-plucked as well, so it's a little bit hard to see because of the lace, but you can see there's baby hairs all the way around which is cute wow. I just love the length of this. Ah, i can't wait to have this on. My head so i'll show you the and it's so long. Let me show you the underneath and the inside, so on the inside. You have a clip here, a clip here and a clip. Is your two clips at the back and you've got a clip on the top and it does come with a strap as well, so you can clip it. You can see here, so you can clip it to be tight if your head is a bit small. So i'm not sure how my head's going to be so we'll find out, and the lace on the top is massive. Look look at this look at the lace, so you could technically wear your parting anywhere that you wanted, which is quite nice. It does come with a parting, already kind of preset, i suppose, but i'm guessing if you stared around, you could yeah like. If you see here, you could do like the parting. Is here, that's preset, but you could. If you look, how can i'm trying to show you this? This is difficult. If you look around here, you can tell that it looks natural to to the scalp. Let me just give her a brush, so i'm using a tangle teaser, it's not knotted, but i did just throw it around a lot right. Oh my god. It'S so pretty! I love it. Oh my god guys you did this! You did this look at this. The quality so far, i'm like you did it honey, not that shiny either i was thinking for a synthetic blend should be super shiny and she's, not she's, uh she's, not that shiny, i mean you can always use dry shampoo if she's too shiny anyway, and i Probably will actually do some styling with this and do like kind of a curl like a nice curl moment with it in another video right. So let me just pop her down on here pop you over there. My dear watched a few different videos on how to lay down a lace front, so let me just i'm just going to check whose videos i watch, because i think it's important that i give them credit i'm going to link these videos below as well. So i think, i'm not sure 100 on the pronunciation. I think it's it's either tj or tj. I linked her channel down below her video was so good and so helpful about how to lay it down and because i'm going to be using. I have the got to be glued and i also do have the got to be ultra glued, which is like styling gel. She just used this, so i'm going to try it just with that today and i also watched a video by cindy black as well. She was super helpful and then i also watched a video from lakita dragon and her hairstylist as well. So i will link all those channels down below and uh yeah check them out, because, if you're just getting into lace with wigs and you help laying them down - they're - probably the best ones. So i'm just going to start by laying my natural hair down flat. So the easiest way that i seem to do it was i i was going to braid my hair flat, but then i seen some of the girls. They literally just take their hair brush it as flat as they can like this, and then i just they split it like that and then what they do is behind it is they take grips and they essentially just put it up flat around their head. So they take it from the back and they smooth it around like this and just lay it down as flat as possible. So guys, honestly, i'm not an expert at this. I would probably say i've got no idea what i'm doing, but this is probably the beauty of learning together. I suppose, and it's part of the fun of it is learning together so yeah, i don't know we're just gon na give it a go. Where'S that come from, and then we take the other side behind the ear, and you just do the same thing and you just want to get it to try and lay as flat as you can, because you don't want the wig to look bulky when it's on. On your head, so the flatter you can make everything lay the better it's going to look. Ah, i don't know what i'm doing girl and then you want to put the wig cap on and i see people put wig caps on and they glue the wig cap down and then they spray it and and and they spray it and then they cut the Glued cap off, but i've also seen girls, do it without doing that, make sure this is back from my hairline. I'Ve also seen girls. Do it without doing that, so i'm gon na do it without gluing the wig cap to my head. So, let's see oh my gosh, i don't know how to do this, so i'm going to try and do it without gluing the wig cap down. The good thing about this wig is that it has a dark root, so the dark root is actually going to help blend, because if any of my little root bits come out at the side, it's not going to matter too much. Now, what i'm actually going to do is i'm going to pin back on the wig for baby hairs. So when i cut the lace, it's not i'm not going to cut it. What i think i need what what i'm guessing. I need to take these clips first and put put them on at the back first and then pull the front round so back in a minute. Okay, so i have it on for the most part, hey now. What i'm gon na do is i'm gon na pin back all the hair do so you want to use hairdressing scissors to cut the lace because they're the sharpest and they're, probably the best, so i'm actually going to have to cut the lace off camera, or maybe I can angle it so you can watch me do it here, but really you want to cut the lace as close to your hairline as possible, but still leaving space for you to trim it. I think i'll. Stick it even so. I'M just gon na i'm gon na cut off the majority of this lace, just so that i can see a little bit better. That'S better! That'S better! It'S one side of the lace cut! So what i'm going to do now is i'm going to lay it down. So i'm going to be spraying the spray hairspray across here and down the sides, so i'm going to spray the got to be glue, hair spray along here today, i'm trying with the got to be glued and then i'm guessing. I will try with the other way as well and see which one i prefer now that that's all laid down. I am gon na just leave this like this for about 10 minutes and then it should be glued down. I think what i might do is, i might cut the fronts of this. It'S kind of knotting a bit, but it brushes straight out. It'S not actually that much of a problem - oh hey! Oh my god, wait! It'S! Actually, it's the glue is just settling down still so it's just like you know what i mean okay, so this has been on for like 10 minutes, let's see how we doing okay girl, these baby hairs are looking a little bit crusty honey. This looks pretty good. I'M not gon na lie; it definitely needs to be. The front needs to be a little bit cut. The good thing is what i found with this with this wig so far is if there's a knot, it tends to brush out super easily wow okay. This is you know what i don't think this is bad for my first attempt at a lace front wig. I don't think i did that bad. Maybe it's a little bit too far forward, maybe just a tad. I don't think it's actually that bad, i'm gon na get my mom she's a hairdresser to so this is. This is like the whole thing. What i do like is that the lace is like three, not 360., it's like really far across the top, so i could do a parting literally anywhere i want i could do one here. I could do one where it was before literally doesn't matter. I actually really like that about this wig. I generally wear my hair in more of like a center-ish part, but i suppose for lace fronts that does oh i'm lifting here. So i've left it at the side. Ah, but that's because i don't think i really know what i'm doing so. Let me just reattach this. This is it before this is it kind of before i have the trim. Let me show you and then i'm gon na go, get my mum to trim it, and i will show you okay, so i think one or two things that i've learned from this is it's too far forward. It needs to be more like back and uh yeah. I don't know i feel like i want to style this, to give it a bit more pizzazz, rather than straight from the bag, but this is it after the cut, so we basically trimmed. We trimmed the fronts here, so it's got more of a layer to it. So we trimmed the fronts here, so it has more of a layer to it and we also just took the ends off just to make it a little bit thicker, but this is the hair after the cuts. This is all the hair brought forwards. What do you think, i think it looks cute i'm into it and uh yeah? I think i just need to learn a little bit more about laying down the lace, because it's lifted here a bit, but that's just that's not the wig's fault. That'S my fault. I'M just new to laying it down, and i definitely think that just playing with it a little bit more giving it a little bit more see like this looks better just playing with it a bit more, giving it a little bit more of a natural falling. Honestly. The baby hairs i find quite difficult to style, but that's just because i'm not used to it. So any tips anybody knows down below. Let me know and uh yeah honestly. I think these are good wigs. These are good prices for the wigs as well. So i am actually i'm impressed so uh yeah, i'm happy with my purchase. I guess you just got ta make sure that you brush it but yeah. I think it looks cute. I like it. What do you guys think?
