Hi, everyone is kind welcome back to my channel. I know it's been some times I've been on here. But what can I say? The rumors are true. I'Ve enrolled in Clown College I'm just kidding, but I am in college and I guess in many respects I am sort of like a clown. It'S all starting to make sense white of her friends. You know sometimes I think, about what my videos must look like to those of you who were just clicking on me for the very first time, and you probably think of what the health section of YouTube is this. So this video is gon na, be a wig styling tutorial on this beast of a wig that I'm wearing right. Now I got a request a couple of weeks ago to do a hairstyle inspired by Janet Jackson, state of the world to her hair, and I sort of just wanted to show you the main idea behind getting this sort of hair texture. And then you can style. It, however, way you want like ponytail err up to or whatever it's actually really easy. If you've watched my videos before and you can't seem to get a hang of the teasing and back combing, this is a style that requires none of the stores. So let's get started, alright, you guys, so I have our gorgeous beautiful wig right here. I realize I've got like pink wig pink back on, but you're just gon na have to deal with it. This is gon na be hairstyle. That'S not so much hard as it is just super time-consuming, because the idea is to put the entire wig into tiny braids, and then that is what's. If there we gon na emulate the look of crimped hairs. So I don't really know how to braid. Like the fancy like fishtail, like Dutch box, I don't even know the names all I know how to do is what you're gon na have to know in this video. So I've got a section here, I'm splitting it into three equal parts and if you don't even know how to do this basic braid, like that's like life skills 101. But, thank God, I'm here to teach you basically what you do. Is you just take an outer part like this and you just cross it over the middle and then you take the opposite outer part cross it over the middle. This opposite outer part again cross it over the middle, and then you just keep doing that and then you kind of just get into a rhythm of doing it like this see. So I'm just using a tiny little elastic hair band, which you can probably get in a pack of like a hundred at a beauty, supply store and I'm just gon na close that end off. So this is sort of in general, the size of the braid that you're gon na want to create when you are sectioning off your hair. But of course you can experiment, try out larger braids, try out smaller ones and see how it affects the end result. Because of course, if you've seen my wig reseting video, you can just seam it straight if you don't like it and start over so maybe now you can see what I mean when I said this twirl isn't so much hard as it is just time-consuming. So I'm gon na put on some Netflix and go ham on the rest of the head of hair. What I usually do in my videos, if you watch them a lot, is I usually set my hair with steam, but since I don't have any pin stuck into this top wig, I can actually take this whole thing off the mannequin head and dip this entire hair. In boiling hot water - and that's what I'm gon na do to set these braids, it only needs to make contact with a hot water for like literally not even ten seconds and then you're gon na, take it out and let it dry overnight. Okay, welcome back! So the hard part of this tutorial is finally done, and now we can finally take out all these rubber bands and undo these braids and see what we did to the hair. As you can see now that we've taken out of the braid we've achieved this gorgeous little crimped texture, depending on how fluffy you want this ending style to be what you can do when you take these out of the braids, is brush through them with not such A fine tooth brush this is just something a little bit more wide. Toothed and you'll see it just puffs right up. It really goes nice and fluffy just like that, so I'm just gon na lightly brush it just so that there's not the parts that are like. Obviously, all crimpy and then there's other parts that aren't I just want it all to like. Even you feel me so if you've watched my other videos - and you can't seem to get a hang of teasing, your wigs, this, as you can see, is a great way to add lots of volume and body to the hair and make it really huge. Without doing any teasing at all, just doing the braids and hot water gives you this kind of result. So for those of you who wanted to just see how to get this kind of texture, this is how, from here on out, it's really all about how you sculpt it and style it. So if you want to take this hairstyle put it all up in a ponytail, do some kind of side swept fantasy? Do some space buns in the front? I think what I'm gon na do with this is sort of do like an ariana grande style by taking a part from the middle and then putting that up in a ponytail okay. So I'm just selecting which parts I want to put into my ponytail and which I don't I'm not taking it too far back, because I really want it to be close to the forehead. I know I just feel like a lipstick eater. I think that's what I want and since it's not a lot of hair, I'm just gon na secure it in with those same elastic bands I used for the braids. If you really want to get into like the proportions of everything you can go in with a teasing brush and tease where you want a little bit more lift off of the scalp. But I wanted to make this tutorial really easy and simple to follow. For you guys, so it's just the braiding hot water, taking it out of the braids and then sort of sculpting it to the style that you want, and this is how I'm gon na leave it. I really like it. Let me know just go change into something a little bit more comfortable and show you what it looks like on and I'm back so this is the finished hairstyle. The one change I just made is: I took a little strand of hair and wrapped it around the base of this ponytail to hide that rubber band. So I hope you guys get the chance to try this out on your wigs at home and be sure to tag me in your pics at online kind, if you're not already following me on instagram. These are some pictures. You guys have been tagged me and some recreations artwork, I love seeing them, so please continue to be doing dots until my next video. I hope you guys are all doing well and I'll, see you guys next time, bye,

samantha palazzolo: Your skin has gotten so clear!!!

MichaelxAmor: I literally was trying to find a style like this... Kyne this was perfect timing

LjungEmma: I just started braiding my wig cause I was inspired by you, and now I really get why it takes so long... My fingers hurt so bad, I've been braiding for like 3 hours straight hahah

Brent Kreischer: This hair is giving me Vixen leaving the set realness

Evan Moore: I love this texture of hair. It looks amazing on you.

questionstar: gorgeous! I just finished doing this to a 45" wig and a set of wefts and letmetellyou the hand cramps lasted for DAYS. Next time I think compression gloves might actually be a good idea ow. If the wig is long enough and the braids are small enough you honestly dont need to tie the ends with bands the braids will stay. I do this a lot when i have to do wig surgery and manage mass amounts of wefts and loose hair. I love your tutorials so much <3

Avery Lockhart: Your face is really really clear! its practically glowing! #skinonfleek

Jose Emery: I really love bow it turned out!Its easier than what I thought lol. Can you make a tutorial on how to style a synthetic wig to make it look like Shakira's hair from her El Dorado World Tour? PLEASE!!!

Arielle Wright: Love the recreations at the end of the video! Your wig tutorials are some of the creative and easy to follow out there. I made my drag con wig using your tutorial and couldn’t be happier

Donnie M Everett: Omg!! I’m doing Beyoncé 2018 Coachella for Halloween and this exactly what I needed!! ❤️❤️❤️

Scott Gray: This is how they set the wigs for the Schuyler Sisters, in Hamilton! Every time l went by the wig room, at least one person was braiding hair...l started to wonder if doing a chain stitch with a crochet hook might be faster, but they're very set in their ways...

The Brown Ivory: You can also achieve similar results by pressing the braids with a flat iron

Land Before Kyle: Thank you so much for this video! Such a simple way to get an awesome style.

kate !: Omg! Thankyou so much for this, i cosplay and i wanted to re style my wigs, i dont have a crimper so i almost lost my mind, AGAIN thankyou SO much this was so helpful

Samuel C.A.S.: Eu estava muito querendo saber se dava para deixar o fio desse jeito e acabo de descobrir que é tão fácil de fazer! Obrigado! Beijos brasileiros pra você

cereyza: cautionary tip to whoever is following this video: depending on the hairstyle you're going for, actually pay attention to the direction that you pull the hair to braid because it will set that way. they should all be going the same way depending the style. the front hair of this wig set downwards which is not ideal.

Tommy Stublaski: I would greatly appreciate if you'd do a beehive hair video (like Monique's from the finale!) Love you Kyne thanks for all these amazing tutorials!

xAshleetax: PERFECT this is the texture of my natural hair and I wanted to add white streaks to have a bride of Frankenstein look and this is perfect for the wefts I got thank you

jackbainesartistry: this worked so well, i have no background with hair i’m litterally hopeless but i managed to do a pretty decent job of it! thank you so much

VDJ Vivacity: I'm so excited that you had a request for Janet's SOTW hair because I've been trying to recreate that wig the whole time she's been on tour. Thank you so much.

Madison Rembert: I love this so easy!‍♀️

Danni: I swear I have learned so much watching your videos on styling wigs thank you love

Keone Oka: I like to do this to my old wigs that get ruined over time from all the styling and brushing. I never tried boiling tho, I usually just pin the braids to the top of the head and then throw a bag over and steam it haha. But now I have a new style I can put it in after I take out the braids

AnimeFreak 4287: Love it as always and you never disappoint me. Your skin looks flawless. What your skincare routine?

RegularRaven: Hi Kyne! I actually have a question about this style: I’m trying to do this technique to crimp my wig, I’ve followed everything to a T, but when I finally unbraid the braids I get the crimp texture but barely any fluff... Did I do something wrong? Should I have teased the wig before braiding?

Teet: I'm not into drag but you're saving lives! Yasss!

Lindiwe Cherished and Adored: This was a really fun tutorial. Thanks for sharing lovie

Nyx: This helped me crimp my junko wig thank you!

Londres de Jesús Cadenas Prieto: This reminded me the only and very first time I did drag. It was for the 2015 gay pride parade in Caracas (the capital city of my country), I wanted to be a bearded drag queen but I have only a few random hairs on my face. I bought two cheap wigs, bradided, boiled and then teased. I cut some hair strings and then glued to my face using liquid silicone glue for scholar projects. Greetings and blessings to you from Venezuela.

tokotoffee: hii <3 so I've watched this video at least 5 times but I was just wondering, does doing this at all help to stop longer wigs from tangling really bad? I have a wig that goes basically down to below my hips and I'm dreading styling it bc it's my first ever wig lol. anyway, I love your whole vibe!

Giacomo Carnevale: You're so charismatic and poised, I'm very pleased by your ways

K N: I love this. But has a Blac woman, I worth their bushy “crimped” style was not called crimp. This is how most of our natural hair look we blow it out, without going back over it with a flat iron. This texture is called “kinky straight” not “crimped” crimped hair is more defined.

prettytgirl: Oh she’s clear now!! Your skin looks soo goood

Kiki Foxx: I’m using this hair style for my dragconuk look

Bunbun: I will try this for my cosplay wig, I don’t have a crumpet but still want that cloud like texture

BeccaSmells: I am SHOOK that he braided with the pieces going over the TOP. I always go underneath. Anyone else?!

Cauchemars De Chien: That wig is sooooo cute!

adamito: omg you look amazing!!

sheltered: bob yaaas of drag btw youve helped me alot with my drag and I want to thank you so much your so smart and the stuff you do is so wicked and cool some times I love it!!

BooBitch: Omg I'm trying it on my black wig I just wet it with hot water can't wait to see what it looks like in the end

FlugmangoLp: This wig remindes me of the hairstyle Beyonce had at the cologne concert of the OTR II to that I went. U almost killed it like her.

Brennan Flanders: I did this style, and I love it, but how would you recommend that I keep the movement in the ponytail but without it falling on my face?

Riri Villanueva: Girl i really appreciate u made this video for those whose beginner ab hair. love u hehe

Wotcher: I think you're a very hard worker and I appreciate it very much.

ah shit fuck damn: could you possibly do a tutorial for big dramatic pigtails? ive tried to do big pigtails before but it’d always look super weird and you could see the cap in the part... yikes. if you can’t, that’s fine! im learning a lot from your tutorials! i hope ur day is good

Bluebird In the night sky: Thankyou beautiful!!

Emmie Ana Ray: I am a huge fan of plaits to get crimps but I honestly feel like (I can't believe I am going to say this) it wiould have turned out better and been so much quicker if you used a crimping iron. normally i would never say that i see people using crimpers and think why not just plait it but this one here probably could have used a crimper. LOVE your videos x

Lisa Blamfort: Definitely going to do it

Brian Castillon: I did this to my blonde wig and i really think i only need red gloves and outfit to look like Christina Aguilera from lady marmalade!AAHAHAHA also, thanks kyne!

Diego Diamantinas: Sis, you always snatch my wig, you might as well want to keep it

Jakki Love: If you were to steam it, how long would you steam it for?

Wee Wee: I love this! It looks like Fran from The Nanny.

Brennan Flanders: Is the wig dry when you take the plaits out? I'm steaming my wig but don't know if I need to leave it for a while or if I can take them out now

Judy Rainbow: Amazing

Asta ZJ: would cornrows be a quicker way to do it? it’ll take longer to dry i guess, but it would be less hard on the hands

Tomás :p: It's not recommendable to put the wig on boiling water, it burns the lace and makes it crunchy and it breaks.

Michael Sweet: Hey what’s the thing you use to pin the wig down to the head thing?

J A: kyne!!! your skin is looking fuckin goood!!!!

Braden Harvey: Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU THANK YOU KINE!!! MY HERO (/◕ヮ◕)/
