Hi guys, thanks for tuning in it's me, Brandi licensed beauty, professional and self care advocate. Today I am taking you along with me. As I lay this wig, I was inspired by RuPaul's hair. I'Ve been watching drag race in her hair and everything about her has delayed baby everything. So she inspired me to make some big curly hair. So I decided to put this week together so right here, I'm just showing you that I molded my hair down, don't mind. My cap messy follow the black gel. I do use black gel to mold my hair down with essential oils. I'M also going in right now with my favorite age control, karekare edge control and I'm going to lay my edges on the side, not the edges. At the front of the hairline, but just line, that's at the side. We call this the parietal bridge, so I'm only going to lay my edges down a little reach. But, yes, my stones are laid. We'Re gon na write you so I like to use laced tape with my synthetic lace tweaks, because, yes, this is a synthetic lace week that I'm using today. So I take that one rectangular shape of lace tape and I cut it down the middle into a tube to make me to thinner pieces of tape and before you let you need tape or any type of adhesive for a week. You must take away anyway. Your residue, so I like to use some alcohol and I wipe away any oils makeup, whatever just give it a nice clean dry slate for my adhesive to be able to stick, and I just placed my tape right along the hairline in the front. Like I said before, while we didn't do any edges here is because this is where tape is gon na go majority of the lace from the week is going to sit here with my lace, wigs I like to cut off the decide lace to keep my natural Hairline exposed on the sides that provider reached what I told you about earlier and you'll see more of what I'm talking about as we go along so right here, I'm just showing you how transparent this Lacey is, and also with all my wigs, whether I make them Or I purchased them, I always make my straps as tight as possible in the back, so with ones that are already constructed. I take those two strings in the back and I crisscross them putting the one. That'S on the left all the way over to the far right, putting the one that's on the right all the way over to the far left. It just allows, for you know more security, and I'm just gon na take off that cap, because I don't, I won't need it unto this or whatever hair is already molded the lace. The transparency of the lace on this week just doesn't really need for me to have that type of cat-boy. Sorry, you guys a little blonde moment right there, but yeah. There was no need for me to have that transparent cap on, because the lace on this wig doesn't need that the lace is pretty much is pretty decent to wear. It gives off the scalp like appearance so right now, I'm just working it on and getting it fitted on my head and once it's fitted I go in and I cut the lace and I just pretty much cut around the natural hairline of the lace and I Don'T take my tape off yet because I just want to make sure the lace is cut and the wig is fitting how I wanted to fit before I make anything permanent and, as you see right here, I go in, like I said along the sides, and I Take that lace off so my natural hairline is exposed, see that's about how much should come off and look. My natural hairline is exposed so me not having to worry about the lace on the sides because most of us um, you know lace is not really, for you know a person with a full hairline I mean we can use, we can wear them, but the same Results won't we won't get the same results as if it was somebody who did not have hair along their hairline. So for me, because I do have natural natural edges along my hairline, I like to keep those exposed and it allows you know easy laying to when it comes to my lace, you and I suggest this way for most women. You know who, if you have a natural hairline, you truly don't need to have lace all the way from ear to ear. I mean it's truly preference, but you know whatever floats your boat and this way floats my boat, so I go with it now. Just go ahead and I take that tape off or whatever. Are you sticking it's a double-sided, sticky tape? You don't want to put your fingers too much on this part, because we need it to stick to the lace. The tape will give you all day hold, and I even have some clients who says tape. You know they can go at least five days, sometimes a whole week without having to change their tape. For me, the tape method is definitely a temporary measure that I like to use for a 24 to 48 hour hold. Now you see it is laying pretty decent. I'M just gon na take off some extra lace right there, because I don't need it and we are pretty much done. I am just tightening up whatever needs to be tightened up, but there you have it. She is laid. It was easy breezy, and this is a synthetic lace, wig that'll last me a good two weeks, but once again this was just play hair. I was inspired by RuPaul and I teased the hell out of this unit to give it this very big full look. If you have any questions or want to know how to do this yourself, let me know I'm here to help, and as always, it is me brandy, self care advocate and licensed beauty professional. So next time my dolls bye,
