Yay Or Nay?!: Trying Wig Tape To Secure Lacefront - Wowafrican Ombre Wig Glf26B

Hi loves welcome back to my channel, so today I have another way for you guys, and this way, of course, is from wild African and I've been waiting on this way. I don't know I want to say like three months now, but every time I tried to get it um, it wasn't in stock and it's finally back in stock. So I finally got it and if you can follow me for a while, you know like this is my color like I have so many wigs this color, because I just love the way it looks. So let me get the details for this wig before we start with. Video is really about so oh yeah - and this is also from my African - I have the details in links in video for this wig down below. If you guys want to see more information on this week, but yeah let's get into this one, so this one is the blonde I'm break early virgin brazilian hair and lace front wig is the number is GF l to 6b. All these will be down below. I got mine in 16 inches, but it seems way longer than 16 inches. So that's pretty cool, it's a hundred and fifty percent density. This is cap number four and cap number four. It comes with the part like already set for you guys, but you don't necessarily need this part. Please ignore my nails, I'm going to get them done at that from this video, but yeah. So this one has the part that comes with it like already set, but you don't have to keep this part. You can still party anywhere you want in the front, and here is what the inside of the cap looks like. So it's just the standard wig cap with the with the two combs on the side, the one in the middle that I always take out and the one in the back, and it also has adjustable straps um. You guys know that now I've been getting my wigs in a size, small /, medium instead of the medium/large, which is the regular size and they fit so much better. So if your wigs are a little saggy in the back and maybe try to go down a size - and I swear to you that if it's so much better and it doesn't slide around like you're used to so yeah, this is the wig that I'm going to Be used using, I just wanted to come. Show you guys what it looks like really quick like this is what it looks like fresh the packaging. So, of course, I'm going to go ahead and bleach my knots and I'm going to wash it. So we can really see what the curls look like after it's been washed. I probably will not straighten this way, just because I have too many straight weeks to damage one that is this pretty and then yeah we're gon na try something new today. So you guys know, Amazon is my best friend and I'm always on there. So I just been trying to look at different stuff. If you don't watching my videos, I've been trying different techniques to get the wig to lay down without it being crusty or just messy, or anything like that. So I came across this tape, so I haven't seen any videos yet on it. I'M going to look them up and see if anybody has used this because I don't know yet um, so this just came and it's top stick to the original. So it's men's grooming tape and it says on the back that I guess it's meant for, like men, hair pieces like toupees and things like that. So, what's the difference between a men, hairpiece and a woman's hair piece, so I figured that it will work the same and just like it work for a frontals and my best, my best soon well yeah, my best friend my best friend's cousin is established. She said that this tape is really really strong, and this is what they use to hold garments together, and things like that like when people are trying things on and to keep things in place. This is a tape that she use, so she said it works really really good. So I'm assuming that, if it works good on fabric, then it should work really good on skin. I guess - and it's meant for skin, because it's part supe so duh, I'm just I'm. Just talking right now so yeah I'm going to go ahead and go to bleach the knocks watch the hair and come back whoa come back and then we're going to try this out. It is pre plucked a little bit and I don't know I don't know if I'm going to wear a part or not. If I wear part I'll, probably just break up the hairline in the front and not cook you back any further. But if I decide to like pull it back or something like that, then I probably have to have to pluck it just a little bit further back. Then they pre plucked it. If that makes sense, so yeah I'm going to go ahead and watch this bleach. It wash it and then I'll come back and we'll figure out what to do without what a party or not oh yeah, I'll, be hurry back. Okay, so here is what the tape strips look like and you get fifty clear strips, and it was only seven dollars and twenty three cent off of Amazon. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to take one because they're pretty thick and I'm going to cut it in half I'm a noun that I'm looking back at it. I think I could have cut them, probably into thirds. So I think I could have made this one a little bit smaller. Oh yes, I just went ahead and cut them into half, so I ended up using one and a half strips I'm just gon na go ahead and place it along my hairline, but I'm trying to make sure that I don't put it on my actual hairline, because I don't want to risk pulling out any of my real edges and then you just take the little strip on the side and just peel off the back piece. So you want your skin to be super clean when you're doing this, because you don't want any oils to disrupt any of the stickiness of the tape. So that's why I only have eyebrows on at the moment and yeah. You just put the tape on and then you just hold it down and if you can see by my part, you want to see that I talked about this little shiny part at the end and tell you guys how I fixed that little shiny part. But yes, I'm just gon na go ahead and I'm going to tie a scarf down just to keep it. I don't know I just feel like it. Maybe it would hold it down a little bit better, like put some some pressure on it and allow it to stick a little bit longer. So I just did this and then I went ahead and did my makeup and yeah okay, look. I am a gun and I didn't go like all fall out on this wig with like the baby hairs and the plucking, and things only thing I did was I broke up the hairline and I bleached the not because I really just wanted to see what this Tape was about, and I was gon na - wear it and see how long I can wear it, but I think there already have a vertical in it, so I tied it down. So I could do my makeup really quick and high hopes for this, like uh, when I was putting it on, I was like oh my gosh. This is really going to work, but yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe I'll put it too close to my hairline. I tried to put it as far as way from my real hair, it's possible, but the sides will not stay they like as soon as I like, smiled or like did something with my eyebrows. I felt start to like pop balloons and the wig is not too tight like I have room a little bit of room back here like so. I don't understand like why it like one huh. It'S fact I felt it start popping up and another con to this is it's kind of shiny. So if you get up close, you can kind of see like a reflective thing inside of the lace, but I just put a little bit of powder on it right here to get rid of that little shine. That was showing from underneath the lace um, but I think this tape will be perfect for someone like me, if you're like me, and you never glue down or tack down the entire front of your wig like I never really checked this part down anyway. I kind of just let it do its thing, because I wear parts, so I usually only checked out where my part is and where the part is it's really secure right here, so the part doesn't feel like it's gon na move it it's gon na move in So the part doesn't feel like it's going to move this area right here where that piece was but everything on the side. It'S like it's not even tagged down anymore, like it's completely lifted up, but the tape is still down and it's not even on my hairline. So I don't understand for some reason, the the top like it stuck to my skin, but the lace wouldn't stick to it on the top. So I don't know if I should try it again and maybe do a tinier pieces and like kind of form, my hairline with it like that, so it doesn't feel like it's as snug and as its pulling as hard but yeah I'm gon na say it's a Note for me, like it's a note if you want to do the full ear to ear thing, but if you just want to do this part, I think it's perfect, because it's so flat, it's no crust. Obviously, because it's taped - and it's like - I don't know, this part - looks really good to me, but the size just wasn't messing with me um.
