Hey guys sabine here or, as you may be able to tell from my face tristan selwood, tristan sellwood is my drag king persona and i haven't performed yet, but we're getting towards it. So i have been doing tristan face since the start of august. It was the final part of my pride series and yeah i've been really enjoying painting as a king, and i figured that i would maybe do some drag related videos, and so i will be doing tristan tuesdays. I won't say that i'll do it every week, but it is something that i'm hoping to incorporate into my channel so normally for tristan. I would put a bunch of pomade in my hair and do a nice little swoopy swirl thing, but this is just my hair. I haven't dyed most of it in almost a year, which should be changed by the time this video goes up, but i thought that i would look into getting a wig for tristan i've done a few different wig hauls on my channel, and i haven't really seen Any decent boy looking wigs um - and i found this one uh through ardor wigs and there was an australian stockist called lumens workshop, so i bought it through there. So it arrived in this box, which is very exciting. I have already opened it and had a look at it because i wanted to so. This is the wig and this wig was 151.95 and that's australian dollars. So this is the wig, it's very basic short black wig. It has lace at the front and i think when i trim it, i'm going to leave some extra lace at the side burns. Just in case i decide i want to add extra hair, so i'm just going to quickly cut the lace and then i will try it on all right. So i've just trimmed the lace and i'm just going to chuck a wig cap on and pop this on and see how it sits. So this is the wig just popped on. I haven't glued it down or anything like that. I tightened the straps in the back because i do have quite a small head, as you can see by the fact that it is sitting off my forehead a little bit. I'M not gon na worry about gluing it down right now, because that just sounds like a lot of extra hassle that i can't really be bothered with. I think what i will do is i'm probably gon na trim this length through the back just because it is a little bit long for me personally and i'm gon na have to style it, because it is quite just quite round so then you can see here. I'Ve left some of the lace so that i could possibly add some side burns because it does end pretty high up. That'S just it like quickly brushed with a part. Can i make it do anything decent? So there is quite a bit of hair in this wig. I could possibly thin it out a fair bit so that it's a little bit, you know sleeker and i could probably heat style it a bit just so it's got some style, not just flopping about randomly, but there is a bit of length through the front so That it can be styled, but this is sort of for those nights when i just wanted to be able to quickly just chuck on a wig not have to worry about trying to style my hair and spray it black. So all in all, i think it is going to fill my needs quite well, like i said i will probably add some hair to give it sideburns i'll have to try gluing it down just to see if i can make it sit a bit flatter to my Head and look a bit better than having this little gap, but that's what happens when you have a very small head. Unfortunately, so it does have a lot of layering through it. It can be sort of spiked up a bit messed up. I wonder if i could use this for like an edward scissorhands, wig or any other tim burton character effectively, maybe terrible, let me just brush that back down. It'S not super slippery feeling. It sort of feels like pretty natural texture. It is uh synthetic hair and it is heat styleable up to like 300 and something 350 fahrenheit, i'm not 100 sure but yeah. I think it's pretty nice. It'S pretty warm, although that might just be because it's spring and it's warm but yeah. All in all. I enjoy this, i don't know if it's worth 150 dollars yeah, because i haven't worn it out. I haven't tried to style it, but it does feel a lot nicer than pretty much any of the wigs that i bought from uv me or ebay. I feel, like i kind of look like a dad from the 80s weird, if you enjoyed watching, make sure to give it a thumbs up subscribe down below, if you've seen any really good men's, styled. Wigs leave a link down below, for me, tell me about them and i'll see what they look like and see how i feel about them, because i am wanting to expand my wig collection for tristan and just general bits and pieces um. Let me know any other videos that you would like to see for tristan tuesdays yeah. I want to try doing a glitter beard at some point or even just doing glitter facial hair like i have currently, let me know, do you want to see that give it a thumbs up, but i think that's everything for this week's video and i'll see you Next time bye, i possibly should have put the wig cap on before painting my face because i'm going to ruin it
