Lucyhairwig Lace Front Wig Review Amazon Purchase Mermaid Wig Review

Hi, hello, hello, hello, beautiful merpeople, I'm so excited today, because I got my first lace front wig in the mail and I'm so ready to try this I've never used a lace front wig. I got this from Amazon. It'S a Lucy hair wig. I did decent amount of research, I think, to find one that would be a good beginner wig. For me, that's not too expensive, but does still look somewhat realistic. I'Ve never done this before so we're gon na try to get all of this mermaid hair under this mermaid hair. I can't wait, I'm so excited I've been. I haven't even taken this out of the bag, because I've been waiting to make a video on her she's. So beautiful and I'm also I don't know what I'm doing so - we're gon na try to learn together guys I got ta find the wig cap. Oh there goes it's still in the back, so I have a deluxe wig cap, two pieces. It says and we've got the wig, so I do know from some of the videos that I've watched that you do need to like brush your hair, all good and braid it and stuff, so we're gon na do that. I forgot to get hair bows, we'll need a couple of these things and a brush, and I'm just gon na gently and quickly brush through my hair. So I have some eyelash adhesive that I'm gon na use with this to attach it the lace part, oh and then you'll need some scissors to trim the lace on the front of the wig because they give you like a little sure. I guess I don't really know 100 %. My hair is so dry. It'S terrible. I know I'm sorry hair. I try to do all the good things and like not, I don't wash it every day. I try to use like a really good conditioner and all of that good stuff, but you know, c'est la vie. I should probably drink more water. That would probably help I would have seemed okay. So I'm just kind of like roughly separate this at the top. You can tell it's dirty because it's nice and shiny - I don't I don't over process it. I don't ever style it really. I'M a mermaid mermaids just have like air dried hair. You don't have hair dryers in the ocean, so I don't ever. Do that really what I did notice? Is you wan na, like when you're braiding this part of your hair? I kind of like look really far to the side and I just kind of loosely grabbed, but I try to make sure that my arms are pulling the hair toward the back of my head. This is just how I braid my hair when I'm braiding it in little, pigtails or whatever. When I want to be kind of cute or try to be cute, sometimes I try other times I'm like hey. That would be too much like actual work since nobody's gon na see this I'm not taking as much time as I would if I was actually braiding this to be worn out in public this way, because obviously I'm doing a terrible job, but I don't care. I just want to go quickly, so I'm just gon na. Hopefully I didn't miss any pieces yeah, and then you just want to make sure that your hair is going back and not coming down the side of your face like that, because then you'll be able to see it and you won't be able to just gon na Make it harder from what I have heard so I'm gon na tie this one off and switch to the other side and then just bring that coming quickly and I'm trying to braid it kind of tight. I'M not really concerned with how neat it's done. It'S just! How tightly it is braided, because the more you can do of that I've heard your wig wig will stay in better. It'S going to stay closer to your scalp, because your hair is braided quite tightly feels like I got all of it yeah. I think so that wasn't too bad that wasn't too bad. That was like so far, so this is just the easy part of pulling the hair back. I don't know I'm getting so excited already, but small victories. I say okay, so now I'm not really sure what the best plan of action is here, possibly like this. Maybe I'll tie them both together do something of that nature. Okay, so this wig cap is a little different. I'Ve always seen them like pull it all the way down over their head, so this might be kind of tricky we'll try. Perhaps I should have done that first, I do not have bobby pins because I don't prepare things very well. Apparently I was just so excited that the wig was here that I lost all sense of control - control. Okay, come on girl. Let'S get this in here I don't know. Maybe I need like a fancier wig cap or something I'm not really sure I may, as I go back and watch some weird videos, I really want to try to do this. I really want to accomplish this iswe yeah, I'm trying so hard. Why won't that one go in better? I don't know my supposed to glue this week cap down. Maybe I should have watched a refresher, video cuz. I did all this research when I ordered the wig and then I was just like. I can't wait for that baby to get yeah. I can't wait, but I babe and get hit. Ok, whatever we're just gon na we're gon na see. If that's good enough we're gon na, I think you're, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I do I do. I have a large head, so I'm not going to tighten these straps at all. I do not like these straps, maybe other people like them, but I don't care for it at all. Ok, guys here goes nothing, maybe something I'd like it to be. Something there's like well, maybe I should show you the wig first, how about that? That hair is beautiful. It feels really nice. It'S definitely. You can tell it's fake hair, but it's still as far as quality goes compared to Party City and Walmart, wigs very nice. I'Ve got a clip in the front yeah there's the clip in the front and then there's two clips on the sides here. So I'm not a hundred percent sure of which way is the best way. I'Ve heard that you don't want to pull on this lace, but I want to trim it when it's on my head, which I don't know that you're even supposed to do that. But I just need to go for it feel like I just need to go for it I'll see. Oh that's not too bad. It'S not even like on all the way, and I'm already impressed with just how different cuz I've tried to wear like generic wigs for mermaid gigs, and they don't. They aren't fooling anybody. Okay, this is there's like these little hairs. I'M gon na brush that back, oh gosh, wow, that's so crazy, so um. Let me see if I can get the clips in there's a clip. I'M not sure I think I got ta do that. Maybe I'm not sure what I do on this this part here. I'M trying to be so delicate, I'm so scared, I'm gon na mess something up, I'm just pulling that comb back and then raking it across my hairline like pulling it I'm pulling it so the combs like this, so I'm taking the comb and pushing here and then, Like brushing my hair back with those little combs, I'm wondering if I should have done the front one first cuz it's way back here, maybe should have and his friend home was twisted. Okay, I'm gon na grab the wig from the top up. Here there we go. I wasn't as hard as I thought it was gon na be to fix oh wow. This feels super glamorous right now guys. Alright, my face is: oh, that's not my face. That'S just this stuff, it's kind of wrinkled I'll, be glad when I get it attached and then I can brush it. No, I can't tell if I've got it like crooked. Is it crooked? Where does it? Well, I mean it looks like that would match up pretty. Well, actually, I just need to get some scissors to cut this lace. Okay, this is the scary part. This is very nerve-wracking right here, I'm kind of freaking out right now. I don't know if you can tell that I'm freaking out, but I'm definitely freaking out. Let me oh, this wig is so thick. It is so thick. I can tell that it will be hot out in the summer. Oh man, man, oh man, where to start I don't want to cut too close and honestly I cut off. Remember when I said I did research, I remember when I didn't say I did a lot of research. That'S why? Because I didn't do a lot yeah, that's I'm gon na have to trim more than that, but baby hairs are coming out right here. So man that made me nervous that made me so freaking nervous. You have no idea, I'm not sure one of those I do at this point I mean I'm guessing that that's got ta. This piece is covering my ears: gon na have to come off, don't cut your ear. I got ta cut that oh, this is making me nervous, like I really feel like. I need it. Okay, mm-hmm trim your lace after I mean before you put it on, because this is just it's too nerve-racking. I can't I can't I can't oh I'm so scared I was gon na cut my real hair or the wig hair, or both or my face. I don't want to do any of those things. Let'S get back in here. How are you, how did drag queens? Do this? Oh, my god, I got such mad props for them like wanting to do this all the time who exalts thing. I always think of that part in Steel Magnolias. Well, the Dolly Parton, where she's like it takes some effort to look this good it does. It takes a lot of effort and in general, I'm just not willing to put forth that effort, but former mating, I will do don't near anything just about okay, that's gon na be good enough. Okay, so I'm just gon na take this lace and I'm gon na trim that place by the ear, and then I think I don't only like a quarter of an inch of lace around the hairline operation. I says this feels like I don't know. If I was the only person like I just could not that game made me so nervous, I just freaked out every time cuz I was so scared. I was gon na get buzzed and I didn't want to do that. So then it kept me. I mean I kept doing it because I was trying not to do it. I was the worst at that game, the worst okay, I'm just up here around the ear on the other side and I'm gon na try to trim that. So it's not like all in my ear, all over my ear. Okay, take two okay, so this is how we're gon na do it this time we're gon na try, I'm gon na try to put this clip in first, except I'm, not really sure where that's gon na fall. Hmm, that's gon na be like way back here. Yeah. This wig cap will, let you just shove it right on through, looks like so bad. Let'S see how I did this time. Okay, how are we lined up over here? How are we looking lining up at the ears situation? Not bad were you. A girl come on, were you with okay, I can live with that. I can live with that placement. Now. I'M gon na take this side cone and I do that raking across my scalp, I'm gon na scalp myself, all in the name of Bo J, my sister so proud of me right now. I know she is, she doesn't know what's happening or any of that. It'S not like she's psychic, or I called her ahead of time to tell her that I'm about to film a wig video but y'all got ta check out my sister's channel. Oh man, my little baby's growing up. Okay, so I'm not really sure the best way to do this either I've just been told you can use this kind of adhesive. So I'm gon na put my eyelash adhesive up in here. Then I got ta put the tube right there and hold the tube with my knee my stinking actual hair poking out jerk. Oh my god. There should be like a much easier way to do this. There really should. I do know this much for eyelashes, which I don't have any eyelashes on right now, but I do have some fancy blue ones. Maybe I'll put them on it. I feel froggy if I start feeling rogue eh. I maybe need to cut more of this lace off, but I'm gon na go with it like this for now just to see like I don't know what you're supposed to do up in there to blend that, but I'm gon na I'm gon na wear this today Out in public, because that's how crazy I am, I don't care, I'm a mermaid. If you don't like mermaids, you suck and you're wrong you're wrong, Colonel Sanders, you're wrong! Colonel Sanders! Oh and I don't have like any lipstick on either what a loser. No lipstick. I think that's in like another bag somewhere um, I usually just use cherry chapstick. Oh, I just got a glue that little piece down right there. It feels weird I feel like I definitely may have glued it too far forward, and that looks like a piece of my hair. I need to get a better wait, Kat for sure one that like really squeezes my head, that's all right, don't mean I'm in the 2/9. It'S like waiting for paint to dry and now we stick and now we stick well, that's why I'm like, obviously, obviously not an expert on this, as you can tell, but I'm going to say that for my first time myself, graded assessment would be like a solid B-Plus, like you, did pretty good for not knowing what the hey hey you're doing. You did a pretty good kid. You'Re dead. Okay, hey! I'M excited! I mean I know I'm not perfect, but I'm so excited that it worked mostly. It makes me so happy. Yeah sticky, stick now you stick on their last piece. It is, they lost the plot. We are down to the last little spot, apply the glue very, very generously, put little glue fan the glue. Oh, that's nice! That'S nice! I like that yeah keep going. He bought. No glue just right now, yeah, you don't get nothing else this. This is wig hair, I'm getting stuck in okay, so we're just gon na. Let that dry a little bit before I start missing. Did I get it all the way? I need to glue that piece right there on my earlobe. I need to glue that on my earlobe. Where is it? Oh, my gosh? I wish I could see this better. Oh yeah, let's try that get out that. So I oh! No! No! You come on done. Where are we going? I don't know we're just gon na slather it on right up in there just slather it on OMG. We'Re mating is hard work. I mean this is taken about 25 minutes, although I did have to take the wig off the one time. The first time I'm just gon na hold that there cuz I kind of glued it to my ear, a little bit oh yeah, but perhaps like not having to trim the lace and stuff like that. Every time it'll cut down on it plus when I get a little bit better at putting it on, maybe I don't have. I got ta get it brush. But, oh my God, look at this wig. I got ta brush it out and everything obviously very bouncy and like this is what I like to do with wigs. I like pretend, like I'm, a Pantene, pro-v commercial. You know beneath a smart mother. It looks like you could, probably because I'm more of like a part on this side like that it looks like you can part it pretty much how you want to, which is cool, but it definitely needs a little bit of some some brushing yeah, I'm pretty happy With it it I didn't, do too much, I just kind of brushed it and then just kind of twirled it with my fingers to give it a little curl back, but it moves really beautifully and it lays nice I like the way it feels. I think I will definitely have to get better at putting it on trimming the lace properly. I'M gon na revisit that when I put this on the next time I'll revisit how much lace I've trimmed off because I feel like I need to definitely trim off some extra lace but for my first time putting on a lace front wig, I'm pretty happy. So I would say it's definitely worth the money that you're gon na pay for this wig compared to you know: they're very expensive, $ 100 wigs or your $ 20 Walmart Party City wigs. So I would definitely recommend this wig. I love it so far.
