Beginner Friendly + Realistic Lace Frontal Install Ft. Myfirstwig

Oh girl, i think i want you now now i wan na see hey you guys, welcome back to my channel, so today's video is sponsored by my first wig. They are very known for easy to wear beginner friendly wigs, so i'm taking everything out of the box got some wig caps and also got this paper just with all the details about this wig and then they always come in these pink bags, which are really great To keep them stored in when you are not wearing them in opening it up the inside of the lace. Clearly, the knots have been bleached. This is what bleach knots look like it's very blonde. It'S obvious that they have been bleached and the hairline is also plugged. So it's really good ready to wear lace rental. So i like to use this hair dye spray in the color brown and i literally just spray. It definitely hold it back a couple of inches because when it comes out it's very intense, sometimes it gets onto the hair and have to wipe some of the hair dye off. But it definitely gets the job done and, of course, i'm doing the bald cap method, because i am using lace glue anytime, that i use lace glue. I'M always going to do the bald cap method, because i want to protect my hairline if i'm just using hair spray, i won't glue the cap down because the hair spray isn't as harsh as using lace glue, especially if you are putting it close to your hairline And i just use a very small amount, a very thin layer of glue to hold the cap down and it dries really quickly. This is the bald hold lace glue and once it's dry, i just go ahead and cut off that cap that we don't need and going back in with that same lace, glue, i'm going to go in with my one and only layer. I only do one layer of lace glue because i honestly i don't wear my wigs for no longer than a week or two weeks just because you need to give your hair breaks now, it's totally up to you if you want to wear a lace for a Whole month, but i personally don't want to especially because you know it gets hot - your stout starts getting itchy, your hair needs to be washed, so i only do one layer and it lasts me at least a good two weeks with good maintenance, but once that one Layer has dry clear, i just go ahead and stick that lace right on top of it and it does have a really good hold. It sticks immediately, so here i'm cutting the lace and literally tell me that you barely cannot see the lace like it's barely visible. Just sitting there on top of my forehead like i could just walk out and i don't think anybody would notice that there's an uncut lace on my head, but yeah i'm cutting it off like i said that lace, tint is a really good match for me. So if you feel like you're the same you're, the same complexion as me, definitely give it a try. You can definitely do two layers of it because the more you spray, the darker it gets, i'm just giving an up close visual of the natural hairline that i did not have to do anything to literally just glued it on my head. So i wanted to cut layers into this wig because i definitely want to curl it. So if you don't know how to cut layers with scissors, the easiest way to go is a razor comb. Um just be very careful because you don't want to chop off too much hair, but i just take it and i grab some hair and i just drag it down, creating that layered effect. I really like how this looks so once i have my layers, i'm going to take my duval flat iron that i love, but i'm actually using it to curl it. This is my first time trying this technique, so i just grab a piece from the front and i just slowly curl it going towards me. I basically saw this on tick tock and i get all my inspiration from tiktok these days but yeah. This was my first time and i feel, like i didn't, do terrible and then i just pinned it up so that it can last because this was actually my birthday when i did this, so i wanted the curls to last. So i pinned them up just to hold them, so they can be tighter when i take them down. You know also last longer and i just continued those same steps all throughout the wig. This was a pretty easy and simple style to do. Of course you can just straighten it and wear it like that, but, like i said, i really just wanted some bouncy fun curls, because i thought it would be really cute and really glam and, like i said this was my birthday. So that's the look that i wanted. As for the rest of the hair, i did use the same curling technique, but i didn't pin up the bottom of the wig just because i didn't feel like i needed to. I was really just focusing on the hair that fell in my face. I really just wanted that to be very bouncy and curly so, like i said, i just did the same curling technique, but i didn't pin it up and, as you can see, it's not curling as well as the hair that i actually cut layers. So you can see how much of a difference cutting layers can be, especially when you're doing curls, because if i had cut layers all throughout this wig, i feel like. It definitely would have curled just as good as the top half of this wig. So after letting the curls sit for a while, i went ahead and took down those pink girls that i pinned up and just watched them bounce. Look at that! That'S how your hair is supposed to bounce back when you drop them pins. So that was definitely what i was going for. As far as the pin curl look, i'm using my hands to comb out the curls, you can use a wide tooth comb. I just like using my fingers. It'S just to fluff it out, get some volume and i am going to flip the hair upside down like they do another tick, tock inspiration like the 70s. Look that everybody was doing. This is not a 70s look, but i did want to flip the hair upside down and see how much volume i could get so i decided to do baby hairs and honestly. I wish i hadn't, because i think i liked it better without the baby. Hairs definitely had a more natural blowout. Silk pressed look. Definitely that's what it was giving me, but i did them anyways, because i thought it would look good but, like i said with this, hairline is ready to wear wig. You definitely do not need baby hairs. So if you are a beginner and you want to get into wigs, definitely check out my first wigs because they do all the work for you. I know some people who are intimidated with using bleach because they don't know what they're doing they're afraid they're going to over bleach or they don't pluck enough or they plug too much. They literally do everything for you. All you have to do is take it out. The bag, the only thing you would have to do is tip the lace to match, but other than that, like i said it comes already made already customized to your fitting to your liking. I love that because it saves me so much more time.
