Hi everybody what's up and welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is Brianna and thank you so much for clicking on this video and joining me for this little adventure we're about to have today I'm going to be transforming this super cheap Amazon. Cotton, candy pink wig, because, honestly it was 20 bucks and it looks like it was 20 bucks, so we're gon na be transforming it. So it looks a little better than how it looks right now. I just wanted to look a little more natural. You know so before we get started. If you could subscribe to my channel. That would be awesome. I do makeup reviews tutorials. I have a bunch of Halloween stuff coming up, which is going to be super fun, so you don't wanna miss any of that and yeah. If you want to see how I transform this bad boy, then just keep watching okay, so this wig, I actually bought it on Amazon. It was super cheap, I'm not showing you the front, yeah cuz. I actually already started doing something to it doing something to it and then I realized wow. I should probably not do this before the cameras on so I bought this wig on Amazon, I'll link it below if anyone's interested in just like a cheap, cosplay, wig cosplay cosplay. How do you say that word? So, that's! Basically, what this is just like a cosplay wig, it's about shoulder length, it's super wavy and pretty like I wish this was my natural hair texture. Instead of this yeah, it's really pretty. It just looks fake because it's bright pink all the way to the root. It'S also not a lace front. Okay, basically, what I did before I started was. I started darkening the root which I shouldn't have done before. I turn the camera on, but anyway I just pretend that's not there. It was all cotton candy, pink all the way up to the roof, and it's also not a lace front. So I'm gon na be doing making a little like adjustments so that it does look a little more natural, so pretty much yeah just doesn't look natural. It'S also super shiny. I kinda want to put a little bit of powder through this to see if we can get it to not be as shiny yeah I'll put this on and show you what this looks like. I bought this on Amazon because I have a Halloween look planned that I wanted a pink wave for so yeah I'll. Try to put this on. My brush has all like pink hair through, except brushing it so just like ignore that I'm not gon na like fully put this on, because I'm just putting it on just to show you how bad it looks. But I am gon na put this little sucker on Wow Wow, so one I definitely did not realize when I bought it that this was not a lace front, wig, lace, front, wig, um didn't realize that should have realized that, because it was only like 20 bucks With twenty-two bucks or something like that, but anyway pretty much. This looks like crap it just this hairline looks absolutely ridiculous to me. The pieces in the front it just like, looks so crazy and I know I started darkening up the route, but I didn't do it like as much as I wanted, because I stopped because I realized I should probably put this on camera and it just. It looks so fake to me, and I know if I would have gotten the lace front, it would have looked a little less fake but yeah, I'm just gon na be making some adjustments to this. My wig cap came off with that. That'S on the floor, so I should have said this before, but the things you're gon na need for this little tutorial experiment whatever it is, you need a pair of tweezers. I use this little like these little scissors that you get for, like your eyebrows and stuff. Like that also some sort of brush and I'm gon na be using a brown eyeshadow and just uh, you know eyeshadow brush and then we might need like a concealer or later. But I'm not sure about that. But the first thing you're gon na want to do is you're gon na want to make the part a little bit wider because it is like super thin and, like parts are wide you like in wigs, it's basically like non-existent. Let me see if I can show you, I don't have a wig like stand. That would have been much easier, but I just don't have one cuz, you know I'm ballin on a budget here. Okay, I'm trying to make these really cool. Instagram pick up looks without actually breaking the bank for a wig yeah you're gon na want to make the part a little bit wider, so basically to do that. You'Re, just gon na take a pair of tweezers and you're going to pull little hairs out like in sections, so you have a little piece like that. Let me see if I can zoom you in on this okay, so you're, looking at my lap right now. In case you're confused about what you're looking at, but this is the part right here and you want to just make it a little wider. I already started making it a little wider up here, but then down here. It just needs to be little water, so you're gon na take a small section and like a small piece of hair like that and just pull it out and then put it off to the side. Okay, so one of the ways that you can do this depends on like every wig everyone's going to be like me differently, but I'm gon na try to make my own like lace front out of this. So I'm going to take, if you see the underside here, this was sewn on. I opened it a little. So this piece right here is just sewn on to the wig over here. So I'm going to open this up and try to like take it apart and make my own, like lace font, even though it's not lace, it's just gon na be like whatever this part is made out of, so that the hairline can look a little more natural Because, really like that's, what makes a wig look, that bad is the hairline it makes it like is a dead giveaway, so I'm just gon na use a tiny pair of scissors and try to open this up. Okay, so I undid the reading the reading that was over here and it's kind of doing this weird like bendy thing, because it was folded for so long. You know so I said I wanted to cut this front piece entirely off and then it'll lay flatter on my head. I know it's gon na be a little scary to do that, because you're cutting hair off with it, but it's okay and now I do want to thin out the front a little bit more. So that looks pretty good for now. So now what I wanted to do, which what I already kind of started, was take a brown, eyeshadow and kind of make a root color out of this, because I think a wig always looks much more natural if it's like ombre or has like a root, because No one's hair is this perfectly pink unless they literally just got it bleached and dyed, so I'm gon na be taking an eyeshadow. What I was using here, I realized after I started doing it, that I didn't really like it, because it's pulling a little purple and I wanted it to look more Brown. So I'm not going to be using that shade, so I'm gon na get a different shade. So the shade I'm gon na try first make sure it's coming out. Okay, I'm gon na try from the Too Faced chocolate bar palette. I'M going to try this shade right here, because it's a little more cool tone and maybe mix this one with this deeper one up here to make sure you're not using a shimmer cuz that'll. Look a little ridiculous okay! So now, since I did the basic like lighter brown throughout here, I'm going to touch up the actual route with a little bit of a darker shade, because I feel like that would look pretty natural for that, I'm using a smaller brush. There'S just a dome brush, so I'm going to try it with this, make sure that works good and I'm gon na be using that deeper shade that I said I was going to try in the Too Faced chocolate bar palette, so I'm just gon na try. This make sure it looks okay if it doesn't, then I'll have to go in with a different shade, but I basically just want to add, like even more of a shadow at the actual root. Let'S go on again. Let'S put this disgusting little stop thingy on. I think what I want to do next is go in with concealer over the park. The part is blending out a little, and I do kind of like to wear my hair parted. So I think I am gon na switch to having it parted like that, and then I'm just gon na make a couple like final adjustments. So I just have a rag here to brush on you're gon na take a concealer that you know is lighter than your skin, because your scalp is paler than your skin. So I'm gon na use this Tarte shape tape and the shade lights, and I only have a little bit of this list actually because it's a sample and I'm almost done with it so and then you're just gon na - need a smaller brush like this make sure. There'S no eyeshadow on it or anything like that. So you're gon na put the concealer on the smaller brush and then just go over the heart with it. This brush might be a little too big. Actually yeah. This brush is a little too big. So I'm going to use a smaller brush, okay, so I'm just using this smaller brush from Alomar cosmetics. Again, I'm gon na put some of it on my brush, I'm the concealer I mean and then go over. The part looks a little more natural and then I'm just going to take some setting powder. This is the color pop, no filter. Yeah no filter settings got her and put it over it so that the concealer isn't so dry. I mean nope so that the concealer isn't so wet and it dries a little. Don'T worry we'll take off that excess powder. So that's what the part looks like. The last thing I want to do is kind of dull down the shine a little bit. So I'm going to be taking some dry shampoo and just spraying it all throughout the hair, because dry, shampoo, dulls it down a little bit you. So after you spray, you just want to kind of like run your fingers through it so that it doesn't like stay powdery. You know, okay, so my final touch is. I just want to cut a couple pieces up at the front because it's all one length - and it's kind of bothering me so I'm just going to go in with my scissors and cut a couple pieces so they're like a little shorter than the rest. I'M kind of going in and giving myself like a little bit of layers, which this is a little dangerous. If you don't have much experience with hair, you could easily go overboard and accidentally cut a whole piece off or cut more than you wanted to. I just think it looks a little more natural if you have some pieces that are a little more like wild, because they're layered, that's long in my mouth. If you don't have much experience with this type of thing, maybe you want to ask someone to help you or if you know, someone that has more experience with hair or if you're like really close with your hairdresser, and you don't feel weird asking them hey. Can I bring my wig in and can you give it layers, you can do that or you can just skip this part all together. I just think it looks a little more natural if it's not fall one thing because whose hair is I mean, some people say ours, but definitely not mine, so it makes it look super fake on me because my hair is not this thick on length. Okay, so this is the final transformation you guys, what do you think? Do you think it looks the same worse better? I would love to know your thoughts in the comments below. I think it's pretty good. I mean it started out. Looking like this, and now it looks like this, we have the new roots. We have a couple new like layers in here I'm going to using this, mostly for Instagram pictures. I had a couple. Halloween looks coming up that I want to use a pink wig for, and I just think this would be so fun and plus I could always glue this down a little better and maybe edit it out in a picture. If you want to see any of my Halloween pictures that I'm going to be doing or that I already have done I'll put my name right here, if you want to check that out so yeah, I think that's pretty much it. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope this was entertaining and helpful if you bought a inexpensive on Amazon or anything like that, and you wanted to try to transform it.
