He is IV so today we're gon na be talking about transparent lace, friends, okay, I have been itching to get one of these and let me just tell you these things are not for dark skin, but I'm gon na show you how to take you from this. To this really really easy y'all like you're, not gon na, believe it. So, let's get right into the hair. We use and we're gon na be using a lace front wig from Dee sort hair. This is a Peruvian straight, transparent wig. It did come free plucked. All. I had to do was go in and bleach my knots, I haven't done any clucking to this unit, but girl this lace. This lace is too light for anyone, even like a caramel complexion or darker. If you are a chocolate or caramel baby, you definitely have to tint your lace, but this to melt properly. So I was researching some fabric dyes and I came across this. One died and I was like hmm. This looks like it'll, be a really good idea to tint on lace front wigs. So I got this to lip. Color shot, instant fabric, color and brown, and basically the bottle just says to give it a really really good shake before spraying it it mentions you. Can you know layer on the color, so one thing you want to do before you spray this stuff all over your wig. You want to cut a piece of the lace from the bottom of your wig, and this is gon na, be your test strip go ahead and place that lace on our old towel. I use this towel to color all of my hair and give the lace a few sprays of the arm fabric dye and then test the color against your skin tone and see if this color even works for you now. For me it was a instant match. It. You guys it was a perfect color for my skin, but I was so happy, so I ended up turning my wig inside out and I put it on my mannequin head and I made sure to move all of the hairs out of the way I gave my Can a really good shake and I sprayed my wig one time and I did do this in sections and I am standing kind of far back. You don't want to be super up-close on your wig, because this stuff is powerful, so make sure you're in a well-ventilated area and stand back. You guys, like at least at least three feet away from your unit, because you don't want to over saturate it with this color. You just want to lightly tone your lace and be sure to let your unit dry for approximately three hours. So this is how it looks after I let it dry. So this is how it looked right after it was done drying, and I noticed I had a little bit of the color on my hair strands. So all I did was take some I'm 91 % alcohol and I rubbed the hair strands in the front and I also rubbed a 90 % alcohol on the bottom side of my lace just to clean it off a bit, because I think this color does leave A little bit of film and make sure to shampoo your unit after so this is right after I shampoo my Union and, as you guys can see, look how this lace just melts into my skin color. It is the perfect color. I really like this method using this on fabric dye. You just have to be sure to clean your lace after it's dry with alcohol, because this color does kind of bleed. If you don't clean it first, but once you clean it with alcohol and wash your unit, you don't get any bleeding at all from the lace and it's just you guys. It looks so perfect. So now I'm gon na throw my wig on my head, and I just you guys like I was so in love with how this wig was blending this transparent lace. Just I don't know it's like something different about it. It just looks so nice and one quick tip you guys before we get into the installation of the wig. If your unit keeps coming too loose in the back a little hook latch, you can actually go in and stitch it. This is what I do to all my wigs to make sure my wigs stay in place, because it's nothing worse than those little hooks coming to loose in the back and trying to fixate on a wig, that's already glued on okay. So, let's get right back into installing this, you guys look so good and I'm just going to be using my guides to be free spray today and I'm just friend right onto the lace and I'm rubbing it and and using my blow-dryer and um. You know everything stuck down really easy, really simple! You guys have seen me do this method a thousand times, but I am doing it with the baby hair, it's kind of back a little bit and spraying the arm got to the spray. In the back of my baby hair, I don't know why I started doing it like this. It just seems like it lays better like this and it looks more seamless and make sure right after you, spray on your guys will be spray you're using your blow dryer, because that's what's gon na help everything stick down and hold really really good. So now I'm gon na go in and peel that back and just cut that lace off making sure you're moving your scissors around because you don't want straight edged lace. It looks faint and now I'm just gon na go ahead and cut my baby hairs and I'm kind of leaving them a little bit long, because I don't want Superjail down on baby hairs. I won't really soft flexible baby hair, so I'm gon na show you guys how I do that you want to go ahead and take some wrap lotion and just um brush down your baby hairs in the way or shape that you want them. You guys can see me doing that right here and yeah. It looks crazy right there. You want to go ahead and tie your baby hairs down, and I leave my tie it down for about an hour 30 minutes to an hour just until everything dries down. So now we're gon na take a little edge brush and you just want to break up the hard cast that the wrap lotion cause, and this will reveal soft laid baby hairs. Okay, I am so over the crunchy. Look. The soft baby hairs. Look so much better and way way more natural, and now I'm just gon na do a little quick Flatiron. I really like the texture of this hair and I love that it came jet black. I didn't color this week. It just came super black and it just looks really natural really impressed with the quality of the hair. I didn't get any I'm shedding. I got a little bit of tangles, but not much. I do love how the company plucked everything everything looks really good. I do wish, though, that they will come out with a lace that is considered transparent or HD that matches dark skin without any toning. So this is the complete look. I wanted to keep everything nice and sleek today. Let me know in the comment section below if you've tried out HD lace or transparent lace. Let me know if you like it just give me all your feedback about them and about this hair. If you're interested in this wig make sure you check out the description bar below links and details will be down there, thank you guys so much for watching another one of my videos. I Am Eloho: Oh you talented talented I will definitely try this on my white ass lace wigs thank you pooh

Terri Sosa: Hello everyone, just a tip for the transparent lace, you can use a regular tea bag, let the tea bag seep in hot water for about 30minutes depending on the desired color then soak the lace over night and you will have tinted lace with no chemicals or side effects. I know we want fast results but natural results takes time . Hope this helps.

Zel Lewis: Ivy’s quality is unmatched ✨

Tiffkneebaby Tv: Ohhh something new to tint lace! I have used the Adore semi permanent hair color to tint mine. Ill have to try this in the future. Thanks Ivy! Side note, ive been rocking with you for years girl. You used to have my sew ins so fly!

Lah Body: Mannnnn THIS why I love you Ivy! You have taught me so much about tinting lace ,amount other things, over past 4 years❤️ Thank you for all the knowledge you’ve giving me!

Hollee Lifestyles: FIRSTOF ALL : This simple install was Bomb AF 2 products and call it a day! Thanks Beauty

Laura: Thank you!!! No offense to my light skin sisters but I feel like the lace sits better ok certain skin tones and not a lot of companies have the shade range for us darker skins

genuinelyjazmin: I saw this video this morning and literally went to buy some of the fabric spray as soon as I got off work and my lace wig is saved!!! That transparent lace looked tan on my dark skin but now it literally looks like scalp. Thanks love!

Jessica h: Thank you Ivy! MAKE BABYHAIRS WISPY AGAIN lol

Shon Jolie: Love this tip! You made this look flawless. And I was wondering why people started going back to the transparent lace, I thought they had upgraded or something bc what I knew it to be years back was it was more so for very light women or white and thats when nobody was thinking to put makeup on the lace

T. Lewis: OMG thank you Ivy!!!! Forreal I didn’t know what I was going use to tint my 360 lace. I just wanted to run in store & not order online. Michaels carries it girl I’m bout to run there today! Lol ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ #notificationgang

MUSA MANSA: Thank you Ivy this is right on time was skeptical of the transparent/ “HD” lace and also I been seeing these fake scalp units and I was thinking about what I could do this is perfect!

Highly Favored: Omg! The tips are awesome in your video. I love the tip about sewing the back. Lord knows when those things pop its all bad. I love security when I wear my units. Great technique for the baby hairs. Your turn out was beautiful. You look FABULOUS!!! #doyathanglady ❤❤

Tawanda Elle: Where have you been all of my life! You blessed me with how to lay an hd wig as a chocolate chick and I love how you laid the wig BEHIND the baby hair. Let's not talk about your soft babygirl... gurl! Thank you. I'm following you closely going forward. ‼❤❤❤

Nonya Bigness: There’s actually laces that have 4 variations of shade to choose from. There’s light brown, dark brown, beige (the most common used on standard wigs) and gray. Because I’ve began making wigs completely from scratch I buy the frontal/ closure lace shade brown for myself. Making a lace closure is a tedious task but it’s very custom for the specific person so all the tinting and bleaching knots are avoided.

Jestine Moss: Girl! I just found your page and this hack was exactly what I needed. #subscribed ❤️

April Johnson-Hazel: Just tried this on my 13x6 and it is the truth!!! Lace looks like my skin. However, IVY was right . You must stand a few feet away from your wig before you spray .I didn't listen and got this permanent color on my 1b around the hair line ugh. All isn't lost easy fix.
