Hi you guys and welcome back to my channel today's video will be in collaboration with icy hair, and this video will just be on how I will be installing a lace that is darker than my skin tone and making it look like. It was meant for my skin tone, because I know everybody out there can't afford the best lace, so I'm here to show you guys how to make it work, so we're going to be using bw2 powder today for the bleach and so for the volume developer and You'Re, just gon na mix that, up until you get a pancake consistency similar to this, we're just gon na be applying this right along the hairline and also we're just gon na go down the middle because we're wearing I'm it. Apart with this look after you're all done, you want to make sure you pull that lace back and make sure you have all of the knobs covered. So everything is even now until I get a detailed video on plucking click in the upper right hand or left hand corner to see and get a detailed talk through of how I pluck - and this is just the finished product after I went in - and pluck that Segment so after we've gone through but the front hairline, we just want to go down these part, so we just want to be plucking all up and down this part and taking out any little knot and any little hairs in the middle. Because you want everything to be really neat and clean in this way now taking the edge control brush and some Beijing semi-permanent dye and the color mask with black I'm just gon na go along that hairline and just to make everything look really easy trick now. This is the final look after I went in and plugg and dyed this part so after that, because the hair is a little damp, we're just gon na go on with our blow dryer and blow out this unit now I'll be taking some of this silk remedy. From generic value products also, these mini flat irons, because I left my original ones at the shop and a carbon pintail comb. If you don't know, carbon is gon na help so that the comb does not melt when you use the common chaser method and I'm just going to be straightening out this unit flat. Ironing is pretty self-explanatory and after that, because you want this part to be laid. We'Re just gon na take our hot comb and find everything out and now you're gon na see a little clip of me going in and actually cutting this unit. As you guys can see, this lace is too dark for me. So, with a few easy steps, we are going to make this lace work and the first step being have the nuts a bit over bleach. I know you guys are probably thinking like what over bleached, but yes, I like to over bleach them just at each one of the lace is too dark because, though the roots are going to give it a non gray color and make it look a little bit Lighter closer to the hairline, so with me, I'm a lighter skin tone, so I just have a little bit lighter and I just use at each of purple shampoo to make them not so on. So, let's get right into this install so because this week is a little small on my head. I'M going to go ahead and cut right here and right here, just in front of those comps to give myself a little bit more room. I'M just now going to use the cat today I ended up taking the cap off because it is so hot in my house and it was literally sweating off. So I have to take off the first two layers of glue because I felt it and I felt myself sweating. I look at my little thermostat in my house is 84 freaking degree just because I am going cactus, I'm going to put the makeup on the inside of my front, so I'll just be taking my Mac powder, it's a little bit dirty spray that, with some gut Just to seal that in and create a barrier between the makeup and the glue now we're gon na try this again, let's go in and melt this baby down. Oh before I do anything I'm just like to spray. My hairline so got to be spray and calm. Everything back so that no glue will have little pieces of hair from the slaves. Now I'm just going to go in with my comm to call all of the lace and, like I was telling you guys earlier, you guys can see that the over bleaching kind of gives it a little bit of a more skin tone around the hairline versus this. Really gray, greenish color now that I'm back and I have this I'll melt it down into the glue we're going to go ahead and cut off this excess lace. It'S now I want to take this razor and just cut off the XS name. So this is a lace, awed cut and, as you guys can see, this is really like a huge it. No, no! So now on to the points of the video, when I like to use a makeup on my lace, I really prefer cream. However, cream works really good on lighter lace when you're trying to bring it down. If you don't want to ten how you use cream makeup for most of my installations, now powder, in my opinion, sits on top of ice. If you will, if that makes sense, and it kind of helps mask of the color a bit more if it's darker, but today, I'm going to be using a combination of the two to transform this dark place into something more wearable. The two makeup products I'll be using today is this la girl, Pro concealer, and this is the shade cool tan and I'll be using my Mac Studio Fix powder, like I said earlier, NC 44.5. I actually may use a bit of my 43.5 gel now I'm going to just take my la cour, a pro concealer and I'm just going to use that to line my party and you guys can see that way like a huge difference. Apartment doesn't look that different on camera, but on my phone it doesn't look a bit different. You can see. This part is lighter in the front. I just want to take a little bit of alcohol to the white of the extra, but I don't want my part to look wider than a heat. You probably could wear your lace like this. I know lots of times so I've done installs on clients who have a darker place, I'll tell them biscuit, like a dead, said middle part, sometimes inside and just really wear your part and where everyone I could close you so that you don't see much of the Dark place from your skin tone, but I'm just gon na take it up a notch, because I know I do really like wearing frontals, and I like right for us to be seen in front of so I will be going in with makeup along the sides of The lace as well and then just to kind of help mask the dark, green grey color. If there still is any we're going to lay down some baby hair. So now, I'm just gon na part out a little bit of baby hair along the sides. That should be more than enough and, as you guys can see, it's already kind of hiding that line of demarcation, which is why a lot of people have to use baby hairs, because it does in some cases help it look a little more natural. As far as masking the line of demarcation, but in my opinion, I don't prefer the baby hair for overall natural look. Now I'm going to take my concealer and just put it along where we just parted, because you do want most of the parts of lakes. That is showing to match your skin and after we went in and cleaned it up with alcohol. As you can see, we have an overall by the look versus this side. We still have that dark gray, greenish color. Now I'm gon na go in with my powder right on top, so our turn down the line, so it wasn't so bright, so you guys can actually see now. I'M just gon na take my car and I went to come back the rest of the hair. That is not gon na be used for baby here now, I'm gon na go in with my razor combs and cut my baby. So now we're just gon na go on with our tweezers and just pin up this line just a little. I did go in with my Nairobi, styling phone and I just put it all over the baby hairs and now I'm just doing a sweeping motion and I'm just whipping everything out in the. In fact, I'm just gon na go ahead and do the other side off-camera and I'll be back to you guys with the final look okay, so you guys, I am back with the final look. How do you guys like it now? This may be a reach, but I really feel like with this look. I look like a Nicki Minaj. If you agree with me. Definitely let me know below. I feel, like I kind of look back her right now, but don't want to reach found love. Barb'S are crazy, but that's really what I feel like I look like. I am so so so happy with the way that this came out. Let me give you guys a comparison, so I want you guys to know it is possible to work with the dark laser. It takes a few steps to get there, but you know if you try, try trying and persevere. You can definitely come with a nice outcome now. This isn't something that I was recommended for, like if you're doing high quality photos or events, I wouldn't recommend you get a dark lacing, because you always want the best I'll try to get like a transparent or maybe a film HD lace. If you are doing something of that stature, but you can definitely work with a darker lace in your skin time now, let me just get into the specs of this hair before I go, you guys, because I am running way behind. They sent me a 22 inch frontal unit, and this was just a pretty straight unit when I got it. I didn't know what I want to do, because I for myself don't really like straight hair, I'm more of a textured type of person. I like curls and waves, but I am so happy with the way that this came out so a little specs on this hair so on to the hair. The hair is really silky and straight. It was very easy to work with. I really enjoyed working with his hair. The lace, as you guys seen, was dark, but I did not let them know before him that I wanted a transparent lace and once the wig actually got here, I really didn't feel like sitting it back waiting for a new one to come, because I really wanted To get a video out to you guys, because you guys are showing me so much love on the video of me plucking and doing baby hair, and I figure you guys probably like to watch me work on other people. So I definitely have more videos on that. Coming soon - and I really really appreciate you guys for all the new subscribers I've gotten and for the ones that are to come, obviously - and I really really really really really really am so happy with the way that this hair turned out like I just have to Give you guys a close-up like? Are you kidding me? It turns out so nice. Well, if you guys enjoyed this video, if you found it helpful, definitely leave a like in a comment below definitely subscribe. If you aren't subscribed bye Riley in if I left you guys with any questions, please comment below, because I would love to answer all your questions in a future video and also you guys, I am kind of having a creators block. So let me know what you guys would like to see on this channel as far as hairstyles I did do curly or myself, and then another company sent me curly, and this is another video that will be coming up shortly. Probably within this same a week, if not the next week, but you see, I tried to spice it up, I'm going to add any few more highlights to that. But if you guys have anything you want to see. Definitely let me know below and thank you guys so much for always supporting and watching my video

I don't understan why the lace is so dark when everyone including darks skinned people don't have dark scalps, everyone's calp is 3 or 4 shades lighter, than their normal skin, besides its easier to tint or darkened a lace that make a dark lace look light. Thank u, I reallt appreciate this tutorial.

The Davis Six: Thank you for this. I have a light skin client and she brought me a frontal to prep for her and it’s super dark for her skin tone. Ima have to try this while installing.
