Amazon Wigs! Are They As Good As The Higher End Brands?

Hello and welcome to lady lovely locks, so i, if you have watched any of my other videos, you know that i tend to lean towards a higher end. Fancier bougie, wigs um, but i thought you know i've seen some pieces. I think at some point i would like to do a challenge where i look at uh: cheaper, wigs, less expensive, um, less bells and whistles and see if it's possible to make it look more natural and not as wicky. So i thought just because i've seen other people do amazon wigs and they make them look like they're legit, but you know people yeah, so i'm only here to help other people. I am not trying to make a big brand or have merch or have my own website, or anything like that, so i thought it'd be fun to get wigs from amazon as well jumped on the amazon bandwagon, we'll see we'll see but i'll leave. You guys. My honest review, so you can see if you can waste your if you should waste your money. You know, even though it's like 25 35 for a week, so so i have jumped on a bandwagon so anyways. I have bought three wigs and i bought these months ago. Um life has happened, it's just how it is so i haven't been able to um do anything with them. So i can't even remember what i got. I haven't looked at them they're still in packages, so we are going to you're going to see my reaction, my real genuine reaction, if you haven't seen that already um, so, let's dive in so this first one and i'll post the links to these wigs um. In my comment description, my comment box, so this first one does it even really matter the brand you guys it's an amazon wig, if you like it, you'll see the link and click on it. You know the i'm. Some brands aren't popular um. It comes with a wig grip. Here'S what it looks like. I think this is the one hmm okay, so i don't know if i'm gon na even take the tags off these, because i don't know if i'm gon na keep them okay. So this first one looks like it is a shorter bob. It is a really pretty. This color is gorgeous um. How do the fibers feel they? I mean fresh out of the box. They feel just as good as any other high quality wig. Now this has bangs. I don't know how this is going to look on me. You guys it has so it has a skin top. You know this does look like scalp. I am impressed, it does look like scalp they, but look. It feels thicker and it's got these wretched combs that i would totally remove it's wefted, so it looks like it's got. The bra strap adjusters um. These ear tubs feel rough. So i don't know how it's going to feel on. My scalp might be kind of annoying. That'S the one thing with these cheap wigs is: are they comfy? Are they comfy enough to wear all day without um being itchy? Okay, so here is the first one. Now this, i am not a fan of this bob, it's very trendy right now, um. This color makes my eyes pop though it is very trendy, she's a box head these bangs. I must have a short forehead. I think so that, okay, this style, the ear tabs, do have wire in them, so that helps so they can curve to the side of your head. Hmm, you know the this hair i've bought in cheap, like ebay, amazon, wigs before and oh look at all that shedding holy cow, the vacuum in here when i'm done um. Oh lots of shedding uh it's okay, there's hair to spare! So these fibers, you feel really good and the fact that it's short it it doesn't feel all that cheap wigs have that silicone grimy. It doesn't feel like hair. It feels like plastic string. You know i've had those wigs before um, while this looks like scalp. If i were to keep this, let's see it only, has it hmm, alright, i got ta. Take it off trying to see if i was to keep this, that scalp is too fake looking so i would have to so it does. You can. So all hope is not lost with this piece. You can fix that scalp and did i put this on totally crooked? Oh it did. You can fix that scalp to where you can break it up and then, like part it over, it does have um. It feels like it's probably like two inches of um play two inches of play for the scalp, so um you could play around with that make it look realistic. You know breaking up that scale that scalp drove me nuts, because it was like just super noticeable and i've noticed even with a lot of expensive brands um in their like instagram pictures and stuff. They i don't know what they do to the scalp. They think, if you put makeup on it, make it look white. It looks realistic, but really it screams wig so with that sitting right there and that perfect line screams wig. So if i was, if i keep this piece, it's not bad. I actually like this color. I can put it on my head and it it doesn't feel itchy like right off the bat. So that's good these ear tabs surprisingly, do not feel itchy so um, and these bangs you could either cut them. Having a um bangs like choppy bangs across is totally in with this piece um gosh this really, i don't know it's the makeup or the hair, but really makes my blue eyes stand up. So you know i actually like this. It'S actually growing on me. So, okay, now let me do it's shedding like crazy, but you know at some point: it'll stop. I think like this. You know this is actually i actually like. This hmm pleasantly surprised. All right. Let me do a 360. uh-oh. I got my tripod stud right up where i walk. I love this wave there. Let me know if you guys can see the wefts when i do that. So i have no idea how long this is. You'Ll have to look on the amazon link if you're interested, but you can obviously see it's between shoulders and shin, so i am pleasantly surprised and it doesn't have a lace front. My head is small. I don't even have the adjusters on, as you saw. I showed you, the bra, strap drifters won't even pulled in so this would fit a small head. There'S some space. If you have more head up here, so maybe a medium yeah you could, it could fit a medium, a medium to small large. Definitely not! You would be tight, doesn't mean you can mess around with it. If you already know how to do that, but i actually you know after like messing up with that part line. I actually like this. Hmm, i really am wearing longer pieces, but i don't know we'll have to see i'll think about it all right. Moving on to the next one. I was pleasantly surprised by that you guys. Okay, i got a blonde, even though i always say i hate blondes. They make me feel uncomfortable, but it was just so much fun and i mean i might even be able to return these. You know probably not okay. This is a short bob. It has nothing on top, it's wefted all the way wefted and that flowery stuff. On top um extended nate, no metal stays no metal stays in the ear tabs brush up adjusters. This is as cheap as they can get got those combs. Oh my lord, oh, my goodness. What would i think did i actually order this there's no way. I would have ordered something like this: it must have looked way better on the model. Okay. Here, let me see if i can take my wig skills, actually i'm more of a right-sided partner or left-sided partner, so i think i feel more comfortable. Did i really pick this out? I figured if i wouldn't blonde i'm more of a if i was gon na wear pixies dark, pixie kind of girl. This thing smells like uh, my grandma's house like her. What do they call it their their chest? Their oak oak chest that has mothballs in it and all the antique stuff. That is what this smell reminds me of so yeah it doesn't. You would have to play with this to get it yeah, there's no metal stage. I don't know why i keep, but i do like how you can have that in front. You know sometimes with wigs. It'S all a matter of hair placement and with this one you want it side swept um kind of stacked up there. I would get some peace out cream for sure um. I don't remember the price of these, these wigs, you guys. I promise they weren't expensive, 20s 30s about as much as i'm willing to spend on a cheap wig. So this i could see something cute on people who look better in blonde here here she is here's the back i do like it comes very close to the neck. As far as i know, it's the same cut, it's not like asymmetric or anything. But if you were, you know this week, some people could pull off. Depending on what hair your hair looked like before um i look hideous in this blonde. They should look better on somebody else, probably someone anybody other than me. I don't know no, it's horrible, so no, it doesn't have any balls and whistles. It is cute and edgy, though, looks awful on me. I could see this looking cute on a few people. This will be either getting sold or returned we'll see. So let me return it okay. So that's my thoughts on that one all right, the last one, i think, is a longer piece. I swear. I didn't order a blonde one. I swear in that color. I ordered dark because i wanted to see dark. Pixie look. So here is the other brand. It'S stuck okay, these fibers feel really good, pleasantly. Surprise: amazon, wig companies, um okay, so this one looks like it's gon na be huge on my head. It has that flowery stuff on top that thick layer that gives it the scalp appearance plucking. That more will definitely make it more realistic. That'S actually looks pretty good for a cheap way. It looks like a dang silk top, so i'm impressed um. This has it's all wefted standard, nape, um, no metal in the ear tabs. They do have hair right here, brush up adjusters. Okay, let's get this baby on, i kind of know. I swear that other one was not supposed to be blonde. I don't have to double check i bought these months ago. Oh, this is definitely big on my head that petite cap, if you're interested, would fit small to medium. This will fit a large head. Okay, so i can't even see: are these supposed to be side? Swept um this color is really pretty no lace front. Hmm, you know this blonde. This is definitely an ashy blonde, but i mean, let me know if you guys care to comment um what you think if this goes good against my skin tone, because i have warm undertones so normally ashy like. Does it look gray on me? I don't think it. Well, i don't know, does it look tacky gray or like sexy sultry gray, so it looks sexy slow tree gray, it's not bad um. These fibers feel really good. They feel, like any other um expensive brand, like she's, surprised, no lace, front um. I'M really feeling this. Like a oh all, this vacuum my floor holy moly um, but feeling the like, 80s uh vibe. I guess it's just the way it's curled and these curtain bangs curtain bangs, are in just saying uh. You could i mean i wouldn't cut these bangs. Maybe what i would do is pull some of my hair out right here to help it blend better, because you'd have to work on that scalp. To make it look realistic. The thing you'd have to worry about is right. You can see it. This wig is huge. Um, it might feel a little better if i took the adjusters in so here's the thing you can't do too much of a side part because it ends that thing's only like that long. So it looks like you'd really want to do hold on. Let me try that trying to hurry up, because this video is getting long there. Okay, this way would fit better, let's fit a small head better. Of course you take the adjusters in. I don't have the adjusters in at all. They didn't come in. I'M trying to see if it's time, okay, so my beef with this wig - is that it has that scalp top, but it's not up here it ends so that just takes away it just doesn't look realistic, so um density density and all these have been great. You guys, i didn't mention that not too thick but see. Look at that, so scalp part looks great. You would have to put bangs in this to hide that weird, like there's, no more, that isn't up there. So it looks fake and broken up. I'M just not good, so you would want to do some sort of bangs which, if you wanted to do wings in this piece, i definitely recommend it. I i keep. I would have to do bangs, but she's really pretty. I really like this. It'S really pretty. I'M shocked for an amazon like i might have to put bangs in it just to see just see how it looks you know so. Anyways there are oh, let me just spin yeah. Those things are definitely long. Good density, she's, pretty i'm gon na - have to keep this one with some bangs in her just to see you know so that is my amazon wig purchase experience uh. Let me know if this video was helpful. Wigs and hair pieces are so much fun, especially when I want to try out a new styles ( bangs, short or long style or color). They also can be a necessity. When my mother was going through chemotherapy, we got her a human hair wig. It looked just like her own style and color before she started to lose it. I have been thinking of getting one, but my hair is too thick to fit under it. The salon I used to work for specializes in the “Look good fell better” program. Pepper Bridge: They do look good on you. But you can’t expect a cheap wig to look expensive. There are tricks to fix them but literally there’s only so much you can do

Milk Andhoney: All of these wigs look really good on you! I have several name brand wigs but I also recently discovered the Amazon wigs as well. They do take some tweaking and it’s def hit or miss on them.

Really disliked the second wig. Mixed feelings about the third wig. The fibre looks nice. I think that you have shown that if you don't have money, you can still buy a passable wig.
Stephanie Sharp: They all look good. The first one looked the most natural, and had the nicest colour and was a good length, so that’s my favourite. The third one looked cool. jessica naan: The fiber was decent on the first wig but why do they always chop the bangs & ruin it. The part looked fake too. Second one looks very cute on you. Love the coloring. Def no on the 3rd one with the chopped up top part and material shows on the hair line unless you tuck the bangs. It's hard to tell on your video how shiny these wigs are which is the deciding factor. Bottom line, maybe best to pay a little more and get a decent wig. Keep making the videos.

P. Keefe: I have a large collection of Med. $ wigs. In gray mostly. None of them feel comfortable. The first one tried on looks thee most natural and makes your eyes pop and gives you a youthful look. The second one makes you look older, but sexy swept to the left and edgy. The last one will bunch up in the back ( my experience). Have a pro cut the bangs if you keep it. Also the warm blond looks better on you. Lastly, they all look good on you, but the bangs need work .

Lisa LanceWork: Thank you so much, my issue is I have a ton of my own hair so finding wigs that are comfortable that I can stuff all my hair underneath them is difficult have you found any that will work with people that have a lot of hair-For years I thought it was the size of a persons head when in actuality it’s how much hair the person has that they have to stuff under the wig I had a girlfriend who would always say she had a small head but she had very very thin hair and I have a ton of hair and so the wigs that would fit me seemed like they drowned her until I realized it was the amount of hair we each had-

Catherine Cardinal: Thank you for trying them for us. The mixed brow wig makes your eyes pop out butifuly and work well with your skin tone! What is your head circonferance? Let us know how snug they fit and if they are for small 20-21.5, medium 21.75-22.5 or large + 22.75 head, it would help a lot.

Donna Blackiston: I usually pay $200 for my wigs I try to go no higher than that ever but even then I threw one away because it was so defective and I didn’t even realize it until after I had brushed it out remove the tags and started feeling around on top and one of the wefts fell right off in my hand and then I looked at it and it was completely sewed wrong just a mess! Just never know, I’m partial to Mellow and Sage from Estetica…I always cut bangs so I always need more hair on top and cheaper ones lack it…at least Paula Young’s do!
