The Easiest And Perfect Honey Brown Highlight Tutorial On A Curly Wig Ft. Alipearl Hair

What'S up, you guys welcome back to my channel if you're new welcome, my name is Jerry, and today I'm gon na be showing you guys how I got these pretty easy, not the shortest process, but the easiest process on like highlighting your hair at home. I think this is like a really cool way, just to give a twist to your wig, I guess, but without further ado, we're gon na just jump right into it. So the hair that I'm gon na be using today is from ally, pearl hair and this hair was sent to me, but I have so. I have so much to say about this hair, okay, but we're gon na start off with what comes in the box. So you get like this little wrap that goes around your edges edges. Well, as the back - and it also comes with a wig cap in an elastic band, the elastic band was a little bit too thin for me. So I ended up using my own, which is a bit thicker and I just sold that onto the wig off camera and we're gon na start off with mixing the bleach together. So basically, I use 30 developer and I ended up using a lot more bleach than I needed to just because I made the consistency a little bit too thick. So that was a mistake on my part. You want to make it a little like looser than cake. Batter not too loose for just a tiny bit looser that way it can spread evenly, and I started off by sectioning off the wig into four parts. This is gon na help. You move through bleaching, your wig quicker, and I started off at the front just because I wanted my front of my hair to be its brightest and then like the highlights to be a little bit duller going towards the back of my hair, and I knew for A fact girl that I wanted my two blonde streaks at the middle of my head, because I did that to my other wig and that's what like kinda gaslighted me into bleaching this wig and doing and trying highlights you know. And so basically, I just started off at the middle and started to pull the highlights to the top of the wig, and once I got to the top, I just made shorts move a little bit slower to make sure I was like keeping the bleach in the Sections where I wanted the bleach to be at so after I was done, I just wrapped it up in the aluminum foil. That way, you can trap the heat and it speeds up the process of bleaching the hair, and I moved on to the next section. I'M going to show you guys how I section off the hair. Basically, I sectioned it with my fingers down the middle, and then I sectioned it again with between, like the one streak in another streak. That way I kind of had like a random streak of blonde. In between - and I did this throughout the entire wig that way like the highlights she just don't look too constructed, like you kind of, have a variety throughout the wig, okay, okay. I hope that made sense. So I did this throughout the entire wig. I'M just bleaching. The middle I go down to the tips and then I bleached the top, and I wrap it up in the aluminum foil and I just kept repeating the process and I sped it up. I kept all the clips in here. I just kind of sped it up for you guys, just in case you wanted to see how I did the entire wig, and you know, since this process is a bit repetitive, I wanted to take this gap to actually review the wig for you guys so, like I said this week is from Ali pearl and it was sent to me. Is there a deep wave wig and I must say I really do love this wig, but it doesn't come without his cons, so it's beautiful in its natural state. You guys like if you want to wear a curly wig and you just want a curly wig and that's it. You don't want to do anything else to it. This is definitely that girl. It doesn't shed when it's in this curly state. It doesn't get tangled in his curly State. It doesn't do anything outside of that right and it really took you're gon na see later. But you know sometimes when you bleach curly hair, it kind of destroys the curls it did not. With this wig, like the curls, are still there and it's going strong, and it looks amazing. However, when I tried to flat iron the hair girl, it was not having it like in my head. I thought I had you know flat iron curly hair before, but I guess I had it and I guess it's to be expected that curly hair is not gon na get bone straight, especially a wig, and it kind of just got like. I want to say like a kinky type of straight and then on top of that it started tingling on me and I just did not like it. I wore my hair in a ponytail for the entire day, then tell me why I tried to crimp it too. So I tried to crimp the hair and it just you know it just looked fluffy. It was not seeking to the crimp, it wasn't staying in this style, so I ended up just wetting the hair again and wearing it in its natural state, and it looked beautiful. Everyone loved my hair, you guys, like it actually looks so pretty so I say all this to say it's amazing in this natural state, but when it goes outside of that, it's a no-go. This is a perfect wig for the girls I just want to. Like you know pop on a wig and go because even when I woke up in the morning, all I had to do was just fluff it up a little bit and just hop out my house, and I was good. I didn't have to do a lot of things to manipulate the hair to look good, okay, okay, I so boom, you guys, so I left the bleach in for about 40 minutes, but this was on top of taking it good. I want to say a good hour to finish the entire head and, like I said, the only reason it took. That long was because I made the bleach way too thick at first, but once I did like my second batch of bleach and I made it a little bit thinner like pancake batter, I was just busting through this hairstyle like I was going through these sections. Really quick, so just make sure you make it been enough to like pull through these sections evenly and fast. You know, and so this is what it looks like once I was done my highlights, as you can see, some parts are left out. Others is an aluminum foil and we're going to fast forward. So me washing out all the highlights and putting conditioner in the hair and I'm gon na start plucking at the front. Oh now, as you guys can see, it does come free flux. But if you look close enough, you can see that line of demarcation where, like the pre plucking stops at. I don't like that. I don't like that. I'Ve worn it by itself like that before and it just doesn't look right, so I had to go in and just start plucking my life away. You guys I'm learning or I'm realizing that I'm still learning how to pluck my wigs, because even when I think I did a really good job, I'm plucking my wig, I think, still looks thick. You guys and another important part of like plucking. Your wig is having some sturdy ass tweezers, so I can get all the difference between when you're, using some flimsy tweezers and not really picking up any hair towards you're using a sturdy tweezer. It makes the process go by super freakin, quick, and so I just sped it up to my end results as you guys can see, it looks. It looks good and enough for me, like. I was not gon na go back in and pluck nothing else. It looked good to me and I kept it moving, and so this is basically what the hair looks like after I air dried it. As you can see, those curls are sitting pretty. You can see the highlights clearly and we're gon na move on to putting my little wig cap on and applying my wig. I definitely sped through this process because I felt like I've done it so many times on camera and I'm still learning. But of course I started off of putting some makeup on the way cap just because it was a little bit pale pop the wig cap, one fitted it onto my head gon na, be using my god to be loose, pray to see lay down. There got to be glue, spray is gon na see, lay down for a good two three days for me and that's good enough for me personally, I don't like keeping my weights on for a really long time, just because I can't handle that like hold like. I have to change my hair. I have to at least take my wig off. You know within two days you know, but also I wanted to make it clear that, even though I'm speeding through this process on camera, this thing takes me a good two hours. To finish you guys, like I don't know, maybe it's just me, but because my forehead is so small, it's really hard to fit the front onto my head and not make it look like a freaking box on my forehead. You feel me like, because it's so I have literally a to hit, so it's like hard to position it in a way where it's not overbearing on my forehead and it's not too far back on my forehead, you feel me so yeah, that's just my own thing. I just wanted to kind of clarify it because, even though I make it look easy, it really isn't like and don't be discouraged if you are taking a long time doing your hair. Wigs are hard. Don'T let Instagram fool you, don't let me fool you either like, like. I said, I'm speeding the process up on camera, but I'm still learning, although I do like you know, videos on hair and I'll show you guys how I apply it and everything I'm still learning. I still screw up, as I said, I'm still learning how to pluck my wigs lay it down correctly, even positioning it. So I said this is my encouragement speech. It'S okay, not to be okay with how your wig turns out. It comes from trial and error. You'Re still learning don't give up. You got this: okay, okay, yours, okay, not to be okay! Alright, alright, you guys. So this is the final look at. Oh, my god. I love my hair. I know I say this all the time, but I really love my hair. This time, like the curls and the highlights combined just made this like like it just made it look so good. I love my hair. I definitely think this is something try it out on like an older wig. If you want to revamp it or if you have a new wig and you want to try something different, this is definitely a cool way to like do something different. But still you know medium like it's not too out of the box. You know, but without further ado, thank you guys for watching.
