2-In-1 Wig! | Transforming Straight Hair To Curly Ft. Genius Wigs

Hey everyone, its Ashlee and today we're doing another at home, wig install. I have this unit from genius wigs. It came straight, but when you wet it reverts to curly hair and you can like wet it revert it curly, hair and then like blow dry. It out straighten it as many times as you want. The curls will never be affected, so we're gon na put that to the test. Today, I'm going to be using the glueless message, so what I receive this unit, there was a note that came with it. That instructed me that they didn't want me to wet this hair before installing it. They didn't want me to wet it at all, because when you wet it like, you can see it's straight now when you wet it, it curls up like really really you type in pretty curls, so I wasn't able to bleach the knots so here's what the lace Is looking like here's, what the unit is looking like? This is what we're working with, but I did go in and do some plucking, so I plucked around the perimeter of the hairline. I feel like the last unit that I worked on I over plucked a bit. So I try to remedy that by not over plucking with this unit, that's her own and shall we just to see what we're working with well, that fits a lot better. You can see my wig cap clear as day, but now you can't so this is what we're working with. I am sad that I wasn't able to bleach the knots because I feel like if I was able to bleach the knots you wouldn't be able to see like this line of demarcation when it comes to these like hairs. But I do feel like um, adding makeup to the lace. Might remedy that I've said this before the anasazi Beverly Hills foundation. This is their luminous foundation. It broke my face. Outlet had bumps all over my faith when I wore it. So I don't feel like the formula is good for my skin, but I don't like to waste products, if I don't absolutely like have to if I can find some other way to use it. I would rather do that. I'M gon na take the excess product and I'm just going to put that on my wig cap. Hopefully this is a little bit better. Oh my gosh! All I can really I can see my wig cap, like I can like see it, see it. We'Re just gon na have to keep this show moving. So I'm gon na part, my hair over here, okay, so cut that your tab and accidentally like panned it a few times to many on my mannequin head and like poke the hole through it. So thanks, Daisy, okay, here's the other ear tab. I did it! Okay, so I'm kind of stuck between the bed head spray and B got to be spray, so the got to be has a better hold, but the bed head spray. This has a lighter hold, but it has a hole to it. So my knees has got to be spray. I feel like last time. I did it this way. I regretted it because it made my hair crispy, didn't it FM, I'm feeling like that's what happened right. This doesn't look. I mean obviously besides the flakes, but I'm gon na fix that this doesn't look bad right. Y'All, so aren't alright, not spray down, not spray down my guy, so I'm going to spray down the ears for sure, with my hair stylist does something in particular like takes a section of the hair and house. You like pull it down like this, and then I'm gon na come over to this side. Make sure I spray underneath there in so. I see people using these elastic bands all the time when they do methods with glue I'm not using glue, but I kind of want to see what the elastic danhype is a barrel. I'M gon na put this right on my lace and the hairline bring it around and then just secure it, let's kind of style the hair. I like a really deep part, but I can't go to too deep, because let me just show you what I'm talking about. If I go too deep over here, you see the unit. So excuse me: I'm going to create like a curved part and then I don't have a wax stick, but I do have this style booster edge control and my hot comb is here it's on and it is ready to roll. So what I'm gon na do is take a little bit of my style, booster edge control and I'm going to smooth it down on either side of my part and then I'm gon na take my hot comb. Oh just see that okay yep I'm gon na, take my hot comb and I'm just going to flatten. Oh, do y'all see that okay, so I feel like I've done a pretty good job flattening out this part, so I'm removing the elastic hmm. I brought these um. These eyebrow razors from Amazon so that I can have a bit of a smoother cut, I feel like we can work with this - do y'all feel helpful cuz. I feel a little bit hopeful, so I have my scissors here. I'M gon na go in and like just cut these like excess pieces, I'm gon na take another coating of my Bed Head spray and I'm gon na spray, my hair in like sections, so that was the middle section and then I'm gon na spray. This side, I'm not gon na, get too excited. I'M gon na get too excited. I'M not I'm just not gon na. Do it, I'm not gon na get too excited. Oh my gosh yah. I didn't even bleach these nuts and, like I am getting this lace to to kind of melt like I'm getting excited, I'm getting excited. Let me calm down. Let me calm down. Okay, okay, okay, focus, focus, focus, focus, focus, sad, kiss girl. I got ta focus. Okay, the wig is installed, I'm so proud of myself good freakin job Ashley. I feel like baby hairs, what look really cute on this unit, at least right here. You know at the very least right on this side. I'M gon na just put this back up. In my clip go through with my tweezers again, then I'm gon na take my eyebrow razor and I'm gon na cut those hairs. I can't be out here just filling myself places: cuz, that's a focus! Okay, so I'm gon na take a pump of my phone and I'm gon na take my edge control my edge brush, so I'm gon na take the brush side all righty. I party people. This is what I come up with and I have my scarf here. So I'm gon na tie my hair down okay time to take the scarf off. I feel like I'm, taking my scarf off prematurely. Okay, Burmese I've done this myself here at home. This install - you know, I don't know, but it's time to take it up a notch. So I have my spray bottle. It was right in my face the entire time, so I have my spray bottle. I'M gon na go fill this with water and we're going to spray the hair and we're gon na watch it curl up and want to tell you. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited I'm excited for this, like I'm, I'm really anxious to see how this looks. We'Re just gon na start spraying this hair, so we're gon na take this spray bottle that I got myself and we're gon na we're really gon na start spraying the hair that we're really gon na start spraying the hair. This time. Now, I'm being careful with how I'm spraying it because um this is obviously glueless and I don't want the glue to be. I mean sorry, I don't want the the spray to be disrupted y'all. Oh my gosh. I think this is really freaking pretty and I've never done like a curly like wet off like this. Oh okay, guys that is it it's been about ten minutes, I have let the hair like dry and set added some leave-in conditioner. I also added some nourishing cream and I will put what I used in the description box down below. Also I took the baby hairs off cuz. I feel, like I heard you guys to the screen saying no baby hairs, and this is what it's looking like. I love it. Oh I love it. I love it.
