How to safely remove glue off your lace frontal to protect your edges!

To achieve an intact edges without any hair loss after a glue installation, I used Rubbing Alcohol 70% and a kitchen towel/fiber cloth.

First, I wet the towel with the rubbing alcohol and gently rubbed it into my lace frontal, this made the glue soluble, making it possible to lift the lace frontal off my hair. (PS: Make sure you don’t pull your frontal along with the stocking cap to avoid glue sticking unto your lace)

Secondly, after I have gently pulled the lace frontal off from the stocking cap as seen in the video, I proceeded to take off the glue on top of my forehead. I continued with the Rubbing Alcohol and my kitchen towel until there was no trace of glue on my forehead.

Thirdly, I went ahead to remove the stocking cap from my hair. I had to do this gently since the cap is right under my natural hair. it took me a good 30 mins to completely take off the cap neatly.

I further proceeded to take off the glue in my hair after I successfully removed the lace frontal. Then I used a styling strip, soaked it into the rubbing alcohol then placed it on my hair for around 5 mins. This was to dissolve any glue in my hair.

Subsequently, after I removed the styling strip, I combed out the glue residue from my hair and voila my hair and edges are intact and no sign of hair loss or damage from the glue installation.

Finally, in the last step, I used a conditioner to restore moisture back to my hair. Alcohol is very drying and it is bad for the hair and skin. I rubbed in the conditioner on my edges and on my forehead and let it sit for a good while.

These are all the steps you may to follow to safely remove glue from your hair/lace frontal.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so I'm just gon na drum straight into this video. So you need a rubbing alcohol. I use the seventh one over there link down below. You need a fiber cloth or your kitchen towels, whichever one you prefer, I'm using the kitchen tiles to start with wet the towel and just rub it into your hair gently. You start from the side, so you can work your way up to the middle and then to the other side of your head. So I just rub it in gently to lift the lace off the glue on my forehead. So you just want to be very gentle with us, so that you don't hurt your edges, the videos going fast now, because I fast-forwarded it trust me - I am very gentle with us. Yeah make sure you don't lift the lace along with a stocking cap, make sure the lace comes off the stocking cap first, just to avoid glue sticking onto your lace as well. Again, you want to be very gentle, just reminding you to make sure you lift the lace off of the stocking cap and then keep going. That'S it. We'Ve got there in the end. Now, as you can see, there's no glue on your lay. It just saves you loads of work from taking the glue off your lace. It won't be any gluing a lace anyway, if you applied your clue correctly, so we're just brushing my hair before I put it away so now, I'm just gon na take up the strip of glue in my forehead, you're gon na start from the side and just Move along very gently after taking off the glue in your forehead, you want to move on to take up the stocking cap very gently, because your hair is right underneath this cap. It takes a good 30 minutes to do this and that's it it's time to take off the glue in your hair, so I just wet the styling strip. I used. I'Ve got that from Amazon. I put a link down below and I soaked it in for about five to ten minutes just to soften up any glue, my hair and then I take it off. And then I just checked the scene on my hair still intact, and I comb out the glue residue in my hair. So there's a lot of glue sticking onto that comb. You probably can't see it. At least my my edges are still intact. I look at his edges. There haven't gone anywhere, thank God Don. You still got your edges this. This is the last step and his leash. You know in my hair because alcohol is very drying and it's very bad for the skin is very bad for you, hey. I applied alcohol to my hair to give the moisture back. I put it on my forehead as well, where the clue was, as you can see. So that's it for this video. Thank you for sticking around. If you liked the video give it a thumbs up and if you know anyone's drugged me and share the video you're, not already subscribed, please subscribe well, everyone has to say this on their videos right.
