Oh, how about a little commotion for the sleigh? Are we feeling this half up half down? Look because i'm in love - and today's tutorial is super special, because i'm featuring erica j's hold me down lace, adhesive system. I got my hands on it and you know i had to do a detailed, very in-depth, deep dive on how to install units with the lace glue. So let me tell you, regardless of your skill set, i guarantee you there's some gems in here for you, you can check the video menu but also get into the description box, but i don't even want to hold you anymore, because girl there's so much that we Have to talk about so make sure you keep on watching this gorgeous light brown number is from eunice hair drop down in the comments, and, let me know your experience shopping with eunice, because it is very important that i know you guys are well taken care of, But this is a 13x4 lace, frontal wig, 20 inches 150 density and even after co-washing, the curls are soft, lush and absolutely gorgeous. Now it wouldn't be a taste pink tutorial if i didn't do a bit of customization, so i'm just getting the hairline together making sure my process is super neat, adding my double prong clips, my gator clips and i'm even going in to trim the lace around the Ear tabs because we're working with glue - and i cannot be messy when it comes to the glue now in all seriousness, due to the nature of this product, i want you guys to conduct a skin patch test, i'm applying rubbing alcohol to the skin, making sure the Surface is clean, then i'm following up with the hold me down: adhesive skin guard spray, three to four mist and then i'm following up with the hold me down: lace adhesive, apply a generous amount and cover a good surface area. You want to make sure you have ample coverage, and you want to do this over the course of four days to ensure there's absolutely no irritation and if there's no irritation you're set for this install. But please don't skip this step for glue installs. I love using the ball cap method and i love using pantyhose they're super inexpensive and this material is super thin. We'Ve already done the comparison between wig caps and pantyhose girl check the card section if you haven't but make sure you guys are trimming near the ear. So that your pantyhose lace, flat to the skin, around the curvature of your ears and as part of prepping, the skin, i'm going to apply some toner erica j, advises to use alcohol. I like to use toner. It is just as effective, especially for those who have sensitive skin, because i do directly onto the skin. I'M going to be applying the hold me down. Lace, adhesive skin guard very important to apply it directly to the skin you're, going to pull the edge of the pantyhose down and also apply the skin guard to the pantyhose as well: okay, skin and cap or pantyhose in this instance. Next, i'm going in with the hold me down lace, adhesive and i'm going to be applying this onto my palette first and then using a spatula to disperse the product or spread it across. So i'm going just in front of my hairline. You can apply this to where it lays on the hairline, but i'm taking an extra step and trying to stay just in front of my hairline. Make sure that you guys get the area around the ear tabs very, very important and give it time to dry. And this is why i love working with pantyhose. The material is so thin and when the glue dries down, look at how thin it is how clear it is. I mean this is perfect. This is what you want. It'S good to tint your lace, i'm using a powder based product; no oil, no moisture! This works the best for me make sure that it is your complexion or about one shade darker. So i'm going in to apply the first layer of the whole me down adhesive and i am using the previous layer of glue that we applied as a guide, but i'm also applying it with a spatula right before the front edge of the pantyhose. You don't want to go too far over the edge of the pantyhose pay attention to that line of demarcation and don't go too far ahead of it again. Give it ample time to dry in between layers and now i'm getting ready to apply the second layer. But again, this spatula is perfect. It helped me to get through all three layers that i applied and i'm actually on the third layer which you guys see here. Trust me. I was not moving on to the next step until the glue dried down clear. So once the cap was situated, it's time to start positioning that wig and i wanted to align the ear tabs before sliding it down, because you don't want this to be messy, you want it to be neat. I'M sliding that wig down just past the edge of the lace, adhesive or glue, take your time. Okay, you can use your comb to begin pressing the lace in once you are satisfied, i'm going with the blow dryer on the cool setting. I always use the cool setting if you intend to use the warm setting follow up by using the cool setting trimming. The lace is pretty easy. Now you may find that the hairline is situated a little bit before the lace, adhesive or the lace glue. That'S fine! This is not where you should be worried, because you can always go in and touch up those areas, but perhaps you really don't want to touch up those areas. You just want to trim off the excess, hair and lace. You can do that, but you guys see. I'M tugging on the hair and, as you can see, it's lifting in certain areas, which is okay, i'm going in with my spatula and i'm going to use small amounts to apply directly under the lace. But when touching up you still want to use three layers. Now i actually went to bed says okay with it. Just like that, didn't even do my hairline, so this is the next day i'm slicking everything back. You guys can see how this wig looks without makeup. Oh girl come on. Okay, if you just want to go like this, this is an option, but y'all know i get into some things i like to do my adult swoops, my adults, that's my signature. The whole community knows about the swoops, tell them about the swoops in the comment section below. I love it when y'all get into it, but i didn't want to do too much of a shakespearean inspired hairline, so i kept it pretty simple at first. I wanted to use some mousse, but i quickly realized when i do things that aren't my norm. I have different results, so i'm trying to be consistent, so i went in with the invincible styling gel for the rest of the styling portion. I definitely want to go in with my elastic band to keep everything in place i'll have this exact style linked in the description box? Okay, now, let's get into the scary part, okay, scary, but still very much possible. So i'm going to secure the hair in the back and a ponytail, because we need to keep that out of the way, i'm all about being neat. Y'All know i wanted to take most of the hair, that's in the frontal portion of this wig. I wanted to take that hair and just set it aside, but keep in mind i'm keeping some of the hair within the frontal down, especially on the left and right sides. I wanted to take the next weft right behind the frontal i'm going to pull that forward. As well, it should be the full length of the previous section we just parted, but the hair from the weft that i'm pulling in the next one. This is where i want to be careful about how much of it i grab, because i don't want the wefts on the sides to show through so again i'm not pulling all of the hair from that weft. I'M leaving the sides pulled back, so i'm just going to detangle this because we have to go in and flatten this out now. This took me three attempts y'all know i'm not afraid to show my little failures, little bumps in the roads. My lessons so to speak. I keep it all in here, so you know doing a half up half down with a lace frontal. It scared me i'm not even going to hold you, but if you take your wax and your hot comb which is linked below because this one is the best. I don't i don't know what y'all use, but this one she spoke to me. There is absolutely no part of this process that you should want to skip, because your results could be different. Now, when it comes to trying to grip this hair, the fine tooth comb is what i use to smooth the hair in the direction that i want it to lay. And then, when i want to smooth everything out, i use a bristle brush very, very important. Now i didn't want my ponytail to be to the side like i was in the sixth grade. Okay, i wanted it to be in the middle, so i used a double prong clip attached it to the elastic band, so i have a god and i stay within that vicinity because sometimes you know it'd be leaning like i don't want the leaning tower ponytail like I just want it to be situated in the center y'all get what i'm saying no shade. If yours is to the side, just keep working at it. Also, my decision to use free spray at this point was ridiculous, because honey all it did was make everything hard and it exposed all of the imperfections in this ponytail. Really, i even tried to add another rubber band to see if that would help it's like girl. What are you doing? It'S like you're sweeping the ocean, so i had to cancel this first attempt i was like. Can i finesse this, but i'm like it's no way the girl's gon na eat me up. Y'All know y'all give it to me when it's not correct, and i you know i appreciate that, but i was like you know what let me, let me take a moment so on my second attempt, which is still a failed attempt. Okay, amen. You know, god gave me strength to keep trying, because i was committed to this look at this point. My technique was great, but you have to be very, very keen on how you slick your hair down and flat iron it. But then i took my elastic band off and realized that i didn't make sure that my ponytail was balanced. Now, let's say you're in the same predicament as me. You find that your ponytail isn't balanced. It'S a little uneven. Here'S a little cheat code. So what you want to do is take that section use a fine-tooth. Comb lay the hair in which you want it to lay use that hot comb to make sure you smooth it out, make sure it lays flat use a little bit of freeze spray, and you want to be very, very precise on where you want it to lay, Because you can lay this so that it hides any imperfections, but what you want to do is bring that section from behind the ponytail and just wrap it around. That'S a great cheat code. I know what i'm doing, but i was like i'm going gon na press on because third time's a charm period, so i went back in and began hot combing, the portion for the ponytail making sure it is super flat. No lumps no bumps i'm going with a little bit of the edge booster, and i actually like this using a tiny amount just to slick things in place, because it offers a bit of hold without it. Giving like that free spray vibe, where you might have white residue, i situated my ponytail in the center now, let's take a moment and marvel at how i work this out now by the third attempt i had become so neat so meticulous about my entire process. I just wanted the results to finally pull together. Now, i'm not going to be too concerned about the pieces sticking up at the back. The short return hairs, because, honestly, my ponytail is going to cover all of that and blend in with the section at the back. The portion that's going to be down also, i really didn't - want to use any mousse any curling products. I just wanted to let the curl pattern, be i loved the super voluminous look and to make sure that the ponytail is molded. I did go in with the satin scarf and just pay attention to how i tied this now. Here is the finished. Look. Definitely let me know how you're feeling the sleigh. This was definitely a learning process, but i loved that you know i used glue again glue kind of scares me, but i'm quickly getting over my fears. Do you guys want a removal tutorial? Definitely let me know, i'm gon na have this wig on for, like two weeks drop down in the comments. Let me know if you're feeling the slay share this with your homeboys and your home. Girls, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up, and i hope i see you in the next one and if you haven't subscribed. I take that personal, because this play was a good. You

Now that being said since u ask about us telling u of our experience with u nice. I shall.! I tried them about a year or so bought 2. Let me said this first i really feel that they now are a better quality than when i bought my 2. Now i see more adv. On them by gru such as your self. I was not please with them. My main concern was NEITHER look or had the hair density that i had seen pictures of! & they also came pre layer as well as machine made & not hand done as stated! They did have a 30 day RETURN & they did out some trinkets in the box. I did not return which is my fault. I just frankly did not want to be BOTHER trying to return something i receive from out of the country etc. & they were rather EXPENSIVE wigs. I just gave away to good will never WORE. Now i am leery of buying from mail orders.& most wig stores dont even BEGAN to carry what i see u gur ladies get. Just keeping it real since u ask. grace to u & all.gh
