How To Remove Lace Wig Glue | Wash Routine | Q&A Prettyluxhair

Happy thursday, so we are back for the final look with this wig that i've been rocking for all week. If you missed sunday's video, if you missed tuesday's video, then you probably are confused on. What'S going on so make sure to check out those videos, i will link them below in the description box. In the meantime, let's jump right into this video. This is my last day in this wig. So today, i'm going to not only share with you guys take down, i'm going to also answer all of your questions concerning this wig. But let me just tell you i was so sad. I had to remove this wig today because look at the wig application, like the glue held up really well all week, and it just looks so good, so very good. I mean i wasn't even expecting it to look this good when i took that scarf off. From sleeping as you can see, the hairline still looks good. I did add a little bit of baby hairs. You don't have to do that if you don't want to, but you know everybody has their own preference. I did have two braids at the top, and that was just an experiment that wasn't really nothing i was. It was just an experiment. I was playing around styling this way because you can do so many styles with it, because it is a full lace, full fake, scalp wig. I highly recommend you go check out the first video, so you can get all the details on this hair. The hair is still pretty good. I do notice a few dry spots that we will talk about later on. However, the highlights are beautiful in this wig and i'm just obsessed with it honestly. If i had to wear a color every single day, it would be this one, so let's say bye to it, because we are going to remove it. I'M taking my oil free wig, shine spray and spray this around the hairline. Now i do not use the lace. Wig, glues, removers because they do irritate my skin every brand of them irritate my skin badly that citrus smell one. So, as you can see, this and a little bit of water is all i need to lift that lace up, and i just rub it and rub it until it starts to lift. I never pull because if you pull you're going to rip out your edges, however, i always put my wig further in front of my hairline. If you check out my installation video, you will see how i apply this wig and also the second video shows you guys. My routine on maintaining that application throughout the week. This is how the lace looks after removal. I don't have a lot of build up. Most of it is stuck to my wig cap, so i'm just going to go ahead and wash this wig because it's been a week, i'm going to use the heavenly locks shampoo. This is the strengthening and restoring shampoo and also the strengthening and restoring conditioner. Now, after a week and using all those products, you all see me using to style this wig it needs to be washed. You can always tell when your wig needs to be washed. It just looks very heavy. It looks like you may notice more tangles. You may notice the hair is a little bit stiff, so i highly recommend taking a shampoo that is a moisture shampoo. The heavenly lox line is made specifically for lace wigs, so it's very good, very, very good i'll. Let you guys know when they come back in stock, it's not in stock right now. I also follow up with the conditioner. You have to condition your wigs because it is very important shampoo, even though it's a moisturizing shampoo can still strip the hair of everything and conditioner puts that moisture. It puts those nutrients back into the hair. So it's very important i'm going to let that sit for 10 minutes. So i'm going to take the turn of the heat spray and i realized you all have not seen this hair straightened, so i'm going to go ahead and straighten it out for today. Now this wig is a body wave texture, like i said, check out my first and second video talking about this wig and also be sure to check the description box below for those links and also any discounts for this wig and a link to this wig. So i'm just taking my blow dryer to it and i'm also just going to touch up the hairline because i'm going to reinstall this wig, but i'm not adding glue, make sure you all stay tuned. I'M going to go over all the questions you all had about this wig later in the video coming up now, this wig do come with the adjustable straps that are made in the wig and also the ones that you can insert into the wig. If you do not want to wear a glue application, so that's what i'm going to be working with today and yeah. This is how the hairline is looking. I will talk more about this coming up, so i'm just using the straps that are built into the wig because i feel like they are more secure and i'm just going to install and then we'll talk about it. So today is the last day. You will see me in this style. I will be changing my hair sunday. So if you come back for sunday's video, you will get to see that um. Speaking of so when i reapplied this wig today, i did not glue it down again. This is a glueless application. I'M going to answer some of you guys questions. I know one of the questions someone asked is with this full lace: wig. Can you wear it without any wig adhesive and the answer is absolutely so see. I can take this comb underneath the wig application. I don't want to pull it up because i don't want to mess it up. It'S not glued down. All i did was, as you seen in the video i took the adjustable straps tighten them in the back. Now i normally only take one of those straps. You can either use the built-in ones which i like to use, or you can use the one that is put inside, which is the black one i use the built-in one and so that it can be secure. If you come back for next week's video, i'm definitely doing a glueless wig application, because i use adhesive for all this week. I definitely wanted my hairline rest, so next week's video will be a glueless application and yeah. I will show you all how i achieved that i'm gon na tell you my thoughts on this hair um after i run through these questions, really quick, how the wig looks straight out the box. Now, if you have been watching my channel for a long time, i say this in almost every video, every wig that i get i customize to fit my needs. It'S only seldom that you will find me taking a wig out of the box and applying it without me doing nothing to it prior, even if i show it in the video or, if i don't show it in the video, i have done something to make it Fit for me so, yes, i did customize this wig as far as re-bleaching the knots i also thinned the hairline just a tad bit. I did not need to do too much just because it do come with the pre-plucked hairline. When i did wash the wig. I lost a little bit more hair around the hairline because i did tweeze it some, so i wouldn't recommend to over tweeze the pre-plucked hair lines. I did straighten this hair today for today's video. You guys, if you have checked out sunday and tuesday's video you've, seen it curled and today you are seeing it straight. This wig is a body wave texture. I highly recommend you go check out my first video. I will link those videos below this video in the description box, so it does have the highlights. The highlights are beautiful. The hair is not dried out, but i do find that two inches these ends are a bit drier than the rest of the hair. So if you needed to you, may want to go back and trim just a little bit, because it's normal for the hair ends to be a bit drier than the rest of the hair, because the older it's the oldest part of the hair. So, as far as the thick scalp insert is on the inside, i do hear you guys. Some of you did have concern about the fake scalp um over time coming loose, and that can happen, especially with washing i had a wig that did the same exact thing. So i did talk to this company and um. They will be making sure that the fake scalp insert is more secure, so hopefully that helps. If not, i do have a full video on how to sew the fake scalp in there, because, since i did create this method, i do have videos showing you all how to sew that back in. So if yours do come out or if you want to take it out to re-bleach the knots and then put it back in check out my video on how to do that, that will also be linked below in the description box. Can you get the wig wet? Yes, you can definitely get the wig wet um, it's 100 human hair and you um get the fake scalp material where absolutely sometimes you can't find it will come loose. So you have to be very delicate with it or you have to know how to sew it back in. I got a comment the other day on another video, and they said that someone told them that using conditioner on the hair can cause the knots to loosen you to get more shedding. Let me tell you something: if you are not conditioning your hair extensions because of the knots you are causing your hair extensions to dry out very badly and you will get tangles which would lead to shedding. I do believe over excessively combing the hair or combing and brushing the hair will cause shedding over time rather than washing and conditioning so very important. There'S no way to avoid it. Hair is going to shed it's going to happen. It'S natural, that's not something that bothers me unless the hair is just falling out in big ass clumps. If your face style insert do happen to come loose, it will not cause the hair to shed the hair is not into the fake scalp it's into the lace. So the fake scalp material is just sewn into the wigs. How does the fake scalp compare to the silk top in daylight? Pretty sure you guys know this by now, but someone did ask so i feel like the silk top is more visible than the fake scalp material. As you can see, everything is blending very effortlessly with the fake scalp. This is a new wig to their website, so it was not on their website before my video and i love the color of it. I feel like it's perfect for fall. This wig is so beautiful. So again, this is the full lace full fake scalp wig.
