Water, Sweat, And Humidity Proof? |Esha Wig Glue: Application + Removal Ft. Rpgshow

Laughter welcome back to my channel. Did I scare you guys for a minute yeah? I got my bought cap to lay down so good. I'Ve perfected, my method. So if you guys want to see a detailed video on how I get my ball cap like this, go ahead and comment down below, but today the unit that I'm going to be using is from RPG show as she is this beautiful two-tone unit and I'm so Happy I got my hands on this unit. Y'All like this color to me, is just perfect right, so I'm gon na be using a new glue that was sent to me by the Janet collection, and this is called the Esha glue. So they came out with two new glues: one is supposed to be the absolute not supposed to be, one is the absolute glue and that one is set to last one to three weeks and the one I'm going to be using today is the Esha firm, which Is set to last 24 hours up to a week if you take care of it so first thing: first, I'm gon na go ahead and make sure my forehead is completely clear of oils, because my skin is freshly washed. But I just want to be extra sure, because this is my third time tried to apply using this glue. So yeah I'm just gon na go ahead and use the alcohol to clean the area where the glue is going to be placed, and then I'm just gon na go ahead and start to put the glue down. So with this glue, you want to apply your unit while it was wet. You do not want it to dry and for that reason I am going to do it in sections literally piece by piece, because I failed miserably the first two times, so I'm just gon na go ahead and use the nozzle. I don't want to touch this glue because it did get really sticky when I use my hands last time and that could have been the reason why it didn't work. So I'm just gon na go ahead and apply it fresh out of the tube and then take the end of my rat tail comb and make sure it's nice and smooth in an even layer and then I'm going to apply the wig immediately. So it's gon na be completely white and it's going to look really weird and really just like. Oh my gosh. What did I just do, but it's supposed to dry down clear. So you want to go ahead and apply the unit, and then you have to hold it for at least a minute. So it's not sticky at all. So literally, if you just try to put the unit on and let it go, it's gon na pop right back. So you have to hold it. I ended up holding it for two minutes just to be safe and then you're gon na see. I want to take the blow-dryer and kind of set the rest. You'Re gon na see that it's going to start to turn clear. Look. I feel that this section is secure enough and safe enough for me to remove my hands without it sliding I'm gon na just go ahead and work my way to the next two sections I'm going to do. I believe I did the right side first and then the left side. I could be wrong, but yeah I'm sort of go ahead and speed through their part, because I'm literally just putting the glue on smoothing it out and then holding it down for a minute or two and then drying it with the blow dryer. Just to make sure it's completely set yeah, I did a right and then left so yeah, I'm gon na go ahead and do that and make sure it is completely set and then we'll continue from there. A hype behind this glue is that it's supposed to be humidity resistant, water, resistant and sweat resistant. So that's why I'm in my workout clothes, if you guys, can tell so I'm gon na go work out after I apply this unit. Well, not right after that, I'm gon na run some errands and then go workout just to really put it to the test, but this is what the unit is. Looking like, the perimeter is living like with everything tacked down. Some portions are still a little wet, so I tried to let it sit for a little while longer, then I went ahead and tied it down for about 10-15 minutes just to be sure and try to see if it will completely turn clear. So when I ended up taking it off, you can see I'm like. Oh my gosh, what's gon na happen, the top part dry perfectly completely clear. The left side was a little bit white and then the right side had this like cold strip of whiteness. That just would not go away, so that's how it looks pretty good. The top is perfect, but then this little patch right here and some of the hairs were sticking into the glue. So I figured because it was water resistant that I would just take a little bit of water like I do with my jails and try to wipe it off the hair, and that was a no-no. You guys like complete. No no look at my face like it literally turned the whole portion white, and I was just like. Oh my god. Oh after that happened, I was just like okay, I'm just gon na. Let it sit and see what happens after a while and see if the whiteness will go away. So I'm just gon na go ahead and begin flat, ironing the hair out because it was below dye because I have to wash it twice because I tried the glue twice before um, so yeah, I'm just taking my baby, but it's flat irons. I got these from Sally beauty and I'm just gon na go ahead and straighten the entire hair. So after I was completely styling, I'm just gon na go ahead. Like always and take my powder foundation, I did not mix it with water, just because I did not want anymore to turn white and just go ahead and go over all of the hairline this right side. I went over kind of a lot because it did not try completely clear steel. It still had a little bit of whiteness to it, but the gum not concealer the powder foundation did a decent job of covering it up. You can only really tell if you got really close um, but yeah, I'm gon na give you guys more thoughts after I finish this part, I am back and yeah. The wig is on first thing that I'm going to say is. I do not think that this glue is beginner-friendly one because it can get really messy and it takes time like time and patience. You have to be really careful and you have to be really patient when applying this glue. You can't just stick it on like the got to be glue or like both hold or anything like that, and you have to take your time and it is best work for me. It was best for me to apply it in sections. That was my third time. Applying this wig with that glue and this one was finally a success on the first two times I had so many issues like I'll get it so frustrated trying to apply this, but I finally know that will not nailed it. I did not know it, but I finally did okay, I would say it is down. The wick feels like it is super secure. I was scared because of my first two tries like it just wouldn't stick, but literally once you put it on, you literally have to just hold it for about a minute, and then I went in with the blow dryer if you guys could see, and that really Held it in place, it scares me a lot because it is white, but most of it dried clear. I tried to make sure it was a nice even application by spreading it out with the tip of my rat tail comb, um and yeah. This side came out really really good. It looks so good to me a little hump right there. I hope it looks so good to me and um. I don't know I feel, like the lace is melted on this side. I, like it, looks really good, and especially this part looks good as well, but for some reason I showed you guys this side majority of it stayed white. It took forever to like turn clear and it still didn't turn all the way fully strip right here was still white. That'S why I ended up letting it sit for a little while just to see like okay, maybe it'll go away, and then I end up tying. It down um just to give it a chance to set and to really see like okay, they're gon na stay white and it did stay white. And then I thought that, because it's waterproof, I assumed that I could just take a little bit of water and wipe it a little bit and see what happens. Because I didn't want to use the remover clearly, because if I use the remover it would remove it. And I didn't want to take it off yet um. So I tried to use a little bit of water just to see if I can wipe it and get a rip out and get rid of a little bit of the whiteness and do not do not do not do not do that. Because when I put the water on it, it turned whiter like instantly as soon as the water touched it. It was like it turned white and I was like oh my gosh. I made it worse than it was it should've just left it how it was I'll. Eventually, I let the water dry a bit and then ended up going back to the original color that it was which was still white, but just not as white as it was with the water so yeah. I tried to fix it a bit by adding my foundation powder over it and it did do an amazing job. My foundation powder did pretty good I'm trying to get close covering it. You can only see like the whiteness and a little bit of the stickiness. If you get really really close, it definitely feels like it's on there. So I'm gon na go ahead and run a few errands throughout the day and then I'm going to go to Zumba later on tonight and get my sweat line and then we're really gon na put it to the test to see if it's sweat resistant. If this thing come off, while I'm dancing y'all, I'm gon na be so mad, oh my gosh, they know what we're with here but, like, oh my gosh, you know like it better, not but right now it feels like like look it's it's on there. Okay, now so I am back and it is now Wednesday. I know I went a little longer than expected, so this is day three for me um. It is still intact for the most part, but I wanted to come in and tell you guys about my exercise. Update so I did do Zumba and it did not fall off, thank God, but it did start to loosen up if that makes sense like we don't have any mirrors in Zumba. So I couldn't see um and I didn't have my phone with me uh, but yeah. It did when I first put it on like once it completely set. It got really tight like not tight to where, like it was hurting but like like it felt like I had a facelift like it felt like it was like, like my face, was snatched okay, um and then, as I started, working out, I'm not sure if it Was my sweat or totally could've been my sweat um? I did feel it start to loosen up a bit. I don't know if I was just getting scared and paranoid, but it didn't slide back like it didn't move at all, but it did loosen its grip. If that makes sense, I watched a few videos and miss Preston. Murray actually said that it turned her hairline white when she worked out so that could have totally happened to me, but I didn't have a mirror and then, but it's how I got in the car. I totally forgot about it and it by the time I got home, everything was fine. Everything was intact, so I went ahead and just type my hair down. I just had your regular scarf around this part just to keep it from like moving and just in case it accidentally get caught or something. I don't want to smash my edges out and then I just put the rest of the hair up into a bonnet. I'M. So yeah, right now, when I woke up this morning again, I tied it down again saint-victor last night, when I woke up this morning, it was still fine, so I continued with my day, but my ear tips are start to lift up right now, which always happens To me, no matter what I use, I don't know if it's me or if it's the glue so yeah, this one is lifting very slightly and then this side is lifting up actually a lot right now, but the rest of this is still tacked down um. What else did I want to tell you guys? Every time I watched in my face and I got a part of the lace up wet, it did turn white, so it could totally be turning white when I'm sweaty and I just didn't see it so yeah. It definitely turns white when you add water to it, so that I would definitely look out, for I don't think it's supposed to be waterproof. I don't think you should swim in this one, but when it dries, it does dry back down clear. It'S just gon na be white, while it's still wet um, so yeah, it's a pretty good glow. I would say it's just: it takes a lot. You have to be patient with it. You have to work with it just for the lame costume um. I don't know if that's gon na be a negative for a lot of you guys out there, but it definitely held up pretty darn good, like this side still looks really good to me. This was the side that was blinking. It'S still. The powder did a pretty good job of covering it up, but it still looks a little bit like gummy if you get really close um but yeah. Now I'm sort of go ahead and take it off, so they also sent me their remover right here. So I'm just going to go ahead and pull this back and start loosening up the wrist. It tickles your nose. I don't even show you guys that there look it's definitely totally stuck down, so it took me about five minutes of spraying, the remover and rubbing my hands on the lace to get this unit off. If anybody was wondering absolutely crazy that my wig cap is still attached so to get my wig cap off, there still was a little bit of the glue left over, so water wasn't gon na just get it off. So I just went ahead and added a little bit more of the remover and then I'm just gon na take my spray bottle. It has water and a little bit of aloe vera in it out of there. You don't need that's just for my natural hair. Yes, I'm just gon na go ahead and rub this in and then it's just wan na pill right up, so we have finally made it to the end of this video.
