How I Tape My Lace Front Toppers

Okay, ladies, I am going to show you first, a beautiful piece. Sorry excuse my hair. I know I always say that, but it's growing it's growing. I don't know what I'm doing with it yet, but I think I'm gon na, let it at least get to here. So then, maybe I can start wearing some stoppers again. I don't know we'll see um. This is a custom for a lovely customer and she asked me to do a video so that I can show her and y'all. This is Elise front and I can show you guys how I'm going to take her and put her on. She is close to the Aleksandra color. Very, very close, you know not every color is gon na, be exactly the same since I customized them, but I try to use the same formula for everything. Okay, this is an 8 by 8 stretchy hand tied cap um, because this is custom colored. There may be some stains inside don't freak out because nobody's gon na see that on the outside okay, but there's really no way around that um. This is a lace-front bleach. Snots got the clips all the way around silk top there's the transition. It'S gorgeous for those of you that freak out about lace and I'm going to show you how to tape a piece and it's actually very, very, very easy um. You can either take the tape and put it directly on here and then place it on your head or go ahead and just place it on the forehead. Let'S try the easier way and do it on here and see how it goes, hopefully, good. Okay, so I have these little. I buy these on Amazon. These are mini, double sided tape and I'm gon na put some minis on, but these you can just peel up super easy. I know cool out that and then you could just stick it there curved and the reason they're curbed. Is they fit on the hairline like that? Okay, so it's gon na be hard for me to do this right here, but let's try it anyways, okay! So I'm gon na put it right up to the front of the lace. Okay, push her down really well and then carefully peel back and then the tape will be stuck on the hairline. Okay. Let'S do that with the other side you can see. I do this very carefully because I'm not doing this, I'm doing this on camera, which probably wasn't the best idea, but the lady that bought this wanted to see it. So I will appease you, lady. I will appease you. Okay. Here we go taking off the tabs tape the stuff on there. Now this I just put tape on both sides. We probably need a little piece in the middle as well, so let's go ahead and do that while I'm on camera. Well, I got y'all, but my cuppa tea. This color is so pretty okay. So, let's do one more piece: my dogs are looking at me like I'm nuts mommy's nuts. I know okay and it's okay. If you have to overlap some of the tape, it's not gon na. It'S not gon na, be a big deal. Theisen! Stop crying! Sorry guys! I'M not even looking at all trying to at least get this alright there we go okay, so, as you can see, I put tape all along the front. Okay and then the easy part about that is. You can just place it. I would do make sure all your clips are open and I would do in the front first lay it where you want it laid press it down, make sure you press it down really well and tape. Ladies stays all day, long, okay, so tape is super easy. If you're scared of glue don't be because tape also comes off very, very easy, all right, let me clip the clips now so once they have to tack down, then you can go ahead and clip your clips in, and this is an 8 by 8 cap. Like I said, I think I already said that. Okay - and this is a silk top lace front, so give it another push down, make sure it's on there really really well, okay, here's the beauty of a lace, cap or a lace front and the beauty of taping. It down okay - and I know that the lady that bought this is watching right now and she's going in her head where my baby, here's, where my baby hears, I haven't, cut them yet there's a little bit, but I'm gon na cut some more baby hairs. But I want to show everybody what the hairline looks like just straight on with tape, and I am like really enjoying tape right now. I'M really enjoying glue right now, I'm really enjoying lace right now in general, because it is so natural. I love being able to like run my hands through my hair and not have to worry that, like my toppers gon na come off, where my wigs are gon na come off like there's nothing better to me than this, and it it's super easy like it didn't Really take that much longer, so this is lace. Pin the beauty I don't brush. Is you know if you want to wear a fine like top knot or something for your hair like half-up half-down, then? Obviously I would take my brush and get rid of the part. First and then you know a little braid or whatever, and then here is the hairline like it looks amazing. I know people worried too about the transition, but here's my transition. I did put a dab of concealer on it, but super natural and then on the sides. You can pull out some of your your own hair to make it look even more natural gorgeous. I mean it's just gorgeous, I'm very, very obsessed with lace right now and I want I did a video on YouTube as well. That was like embrace the lace. Did I get that down yeah? It is now, maybe I missed a little spot there doing it fast, but you can do this with glue as well, and this, like, I said, will stay all day and you don't have to worry about nothing proper English. There. You don't have to worry about anything when it's bonded down the winds, not gon na knock it off. It'S gon na, be there until you take it off and then there is actually a tape release or you can use just rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. But there is a tape. Release john renault makes one there's a bunch on like amazon, Walker, there's a bunch of tape. Relief and all you do is the end of the night. You like that spray it and take it off, and that's that and she also makes a cute pony, and then you can put down your little baby hairs once I cut them in the front and voila. Nobody knows that's, not your hair cuz, it's the bomb!
