So this is the stylus curl Alysha swig that I do have a video on in its original state, so yeah, I'm gon na take some hair pins here, I'm using safety, pins cuz, I actually didn't - have hair pins, but this is just so that um, the wig Could stay in place while I'm doing my thing, and here I have a hair clip - and this is the wig now, as you can see. Oh and you're also gon na need some tweezers so right here you can clearly see that there's a difference in the color of the lace and that's because, on the inside of the lace, there's the silk base that they advertise. So I'm just going to cut that off, because the soap base is actually a little bit darker than my skin tone, and even though it's not um, it's not really that bad um. It can definitely look a lot better. So what I'm gon na do is I'm just going to cut the material that they have over the lace and I'm just going to cut that out completely so that the lace is more transparent. So right here, I'm just showing you that underneath the material is the lace and I'm running my hands through it, so that you can see how much more transparent the laces - and this is what it looks like once I cut off the material as a whole. Now, as you can see, the lace is already looking a lot better. It doesn't have the difference in color and I'm just showing you guys what the silk base looks like up against my hand and, as you can see, it's a little bit darker than my skin tone. So that's why I just wanted to cut it out so that it can match my wig cap a little bit better than the lace. So right here, I'm showing you that there's still like this line of demarcation and that's because the lace, the silk top was actually attached. It was thinly glued on. So we're just going to take that strip off so very carefully. We'Re gon na take our tweezers and we're just gon na pull the strip that is left over from the silk base and I'm gon na cut that off and I'm gon na do the other side and, as you can see, there is no more line of demarcation. There'S no more difference of color from the sub-base, it's just completely all a nice, transparent lace and, as you can see, I'm showing you the four by four parting. It looks absolutely amazing and yeah. It'S looking really really good. So far so now I am doing the frontal portion, I'm just gon na, take the safety, pins and um. I'M gon na pin the other wig down so that it doesn't move while I'm working so first, I'm gon na take my tweezers and I'm going to make a very skinny part vertically and I'm gon na pluck behind that part and I'm gon na just keep doing That, for like the first I want to say maybe inch of hair in the front, because it's not a frontal, it's just basically a little bit of lace on the sides and then a 4x4 part. So it's not that much lace on the side. So I did leave like the sideburns alone, because the hair there was kind of thin already but other than that. I'M just going to keep plucking the hairline and plucking just using my fingers to kind of thin out the front of the wig and just try to make it look as realistic as possible, and I'm just gon na keep plucking and plucking and plucking until it's thinned Out in the front, so this is what it looks like after I kind of just go throughout the front of the wig and kind of just make sure it looks as realistic as possible and yeah. You should have something like this and I'm just showing you guys. The difference between the plucked side and the bun pluck side and, as you can see, this is both sides customized. So that's my quick video on how I customized a synthetic silk base lace for it. I hope you guys enjoyed the video and until next time, I'll catch you later bye, guys

Or was there no choice..Or does removing it make it look better than regular lace wigs bc It looked really good like it didn't have any knots after you took that off..just wondering bc I'm trying to learn before I purchase mine.
