Lace Front Wigs - How I Wash My Synthetic Wigs By Rsvp

Heres the response to all the emails about how I take care of my wigs! What I use to wash them and how I store them! This is my personal washing technique, I am not a licensed hair dresser this is my home routine that personally works for me. I use HE on my Human Wigs always but Woolite is the best for my synthetic wigs! In this video I wash 2 wigs a sample wig and Shakira from Kalore.ca

Enjoy!

You, okay guys, so this is what you're going to need to wash your synthetic lace front or you can use it also for human hair. I used to use a herbal essence. Hydration shampoo! This works really really well. This is what I used to use. So that's an option for washing your wig, but i don't use herbal essences anymore. I actually use whoa light, so i use will like to wash all my wigs. It really cleans them. It cleans them better than shampoo. I feel like the shampoo leaves a little bit of residue with the wool light. There'S absolutely no residue in your wig after you finish washing it. The next thing you're going to need is Moroccan oil, which you can buy at the beauty supply store. It'S usually around. Ten dollars or if you're lucky you get it on sale, I just buy a little one on the little one. Last me probably 46 wig washes so i'll. Show you how i use that later. I also have a pic. They stole from my nephew that i'm going to use to comb the wig out when it's wet and last but not least, you're going to need a towel so stay tuned. While I feel fill up the sink and get everything ready to show you how I wash the wigs so fill your sink up just a little bit of water enough to dilute the zero, so they have a good enough amount of water to switch your wig around. Now I'm going to get the wig and show you guys so here's my one of my fav wigs, you guys know this is my favorite way. Guy always wear this wig, but girl needs a wash so getting a little bit blurry here. This is shakira. Shakira is really shiny because i sprayed some oil in her, so I'm going to just drop her in the sink. So what I do is I basically just make sure i immerse the weight in water and getting blurry. Sorry guys at all. I do is, you know, grab my wig and swish it around. That'S, basically how I wash it. I don't comb through it. That'S basically what I do so continue to swish around your wig in the water. Until you can see, the lace come really nice and clean land and new, looking like it did when you first bought it so I'll be back yeah. So basically, what you're going to do is switch your way around. That'S basically, all I do with the wig the entire thing until I could see that the lace is clean, again clean and brand spanking new, so I'll show you that up close all the makeup, everything that gets caught in the front of the wig every day you Just rinse all of that out and it comes out instantly with the will ache. So I'm only showing you on Shakira right now, but I'm just going to pause and be back in a second because i'm going to show you how to rinse it. But i want to wash one more of my wig before I get to that, so I'll be back in one second. So if you have a lot of makeup in the front of your wig and you pull it on after you've done your foundation, it turns the lace really brown. I just want to show you a quick method of how to really really get the makeup out of the front of your weight. Like that's the front now, so look at that lace, it's back to brand new, so I just wanted to show you guys that you just have to do this motion where you're pulling the water through the lace back and forth no combing, because that's what I just Tried it by mistake one day and I live by this regimen, because this regimen is basically made my wigs feel brand new every single time. So I'm just going to do that and spread it out and now I'm going to take my hands and just continue to go through and that's all I'm going to use so just move it back and forth through the way using your fingers alright. So now, when you rinse it you're going to just put it under the top, and this is basically what I how I rinse my legs: just pull the water through no foaming action. Yet nothing like that cuz. You know they get tangled rinse out the front where you really really got a lot of zero, because you really rinsed out all that makeup and then you're done. So. This is how I rinse it. So the next thing you're going to do after you rinse it, as I kind of just lay it out like this, I'm going to take my Moroccan oil - and this is my way of conditioning Shakira. You could take some of this oil you're going to put it in your hands. I don't know baby about our quarter, size and you're, going to take that and go through the wave wet so you're going to need probably a little bit more cuz. This looks really thick what this does. It is a condition that I just tried it by mistake one day and I live by this regimen, because this regimen is basically made my wigs feel brand new every single time. So I'm just going to do that and spread it out, and now I'm going to take my hands and just continue to go through it. That'S all I'm going to use so just move it back and forth through the way using your fingers. Let it all get in there really good. The thing that I love the most about the Moroccan oil is how it makes your wig smell after so so. The next step is, after you've got all the Moroccan oil in your wig you're, just going to lightly use the pick and go through her. So, as you can see, it's not that hard to comb through her already and you don't want to be tearing the hair out, so I don't comb it much more than this. I don't pick it out much more than this until after it's dry, so as you could tell it's, coming right back to life, look at the waves and this is a wet page. So what we're going to do next is we're going to roll her in a towel before we hang out to dry. So I take my towel and I take secure like this. I roll her in the wig like that, and I just let it sit like this for a few minutes before I hang it takes out like all the excess water before I hang it to dry. So that's the next step, so here's the second way that I washed. So this is a longer wig body wave again after you put through the Moroccan oil, it really untangles the wig. So as you can see, it doesn't take a lot to comb through it. So again, I'm going to move this wig over sorry about the camera, we're going to roll her as well so roll her in the towel to take off all the excess water. So we're just going to roll her like that. Hang your wigs by a window somewhere where they can air dry, and I up. I actually had mine in my living room with a towel at the bottom to catch the water that drips from the wig. But I just have it on the side of my slide door so that when the fresh air comes in it will air dry. My wig, ok guys. So here is Shakira she's all dry and she's back to brand new i'll show you close up. The waves came back really really nice and shiny because of the moroccan oil, and if you look really close i'll go up closer, you guys could see. The lace. Lace is back to the brand spanking new color that it was original color that it was when i first got it. Let me see if i could lift it up a little here and show you guys closer come on study. Ok, so there you go. That'S the least the least looks brand new, no makeup, no residue, nothing in it I'll just spin her around, so you guys can see the back. This is the same nice shiny waves, exactly how I got it out of the box when I first bought it focus. Yeah, so in the end, because it's a synthetic, what you want to do is you want to trim off any ends that look rough or look dry, but, as you can see, it's not that bad here, there's a little bit of trimming that I could do, but Also, not because it looks dried just because it looks kind of uneven, but I'm really really happy with the results. As you could see, she looks so nice and shiny no need to put oil no need to put mousse no need to put anything unless you want to tame her down and I'll, be back in a sec with the other week. That I washed is like other wigs, so this is my long body wave wig that I showed you. This wig is really really old. I'M going to show you up close the scalp, how clean it is and how clear it is of makeup and residue. So you could see like right through there to the lace. The lace is brand new again i'll give you like a close-up shot of the waves, the waves I didn't comb through it or anything yet, and the waves are whoops. Sorry, the waves are back to normal and they're tame. The only thing about this wig because I've had it for so long is the end. So the ends are pretty brutal. Let me see if I could get closer yeah. The ends look a little dry, so i could put little bit of oil in there, but other than that. I again think this week came right back I'll. Show you the back to perfect and here's the front. So that's it for my wig. So I hope you enjoyed this. I hope it was helpful to some of you guys as a new way of washing your wig. I swear by this way.
