Hey everyone: how are you today, i hope, you're having a good day so far. Today'S video is gon na, be a review on this that i'm wearing here. I have her pulled back in a little square band, but this is the jon renau scarlett wig, and this is in the color 8 32, which is called cocoa bean. So let's go ahead and talk about scarlet scarlet is just a really cute little mid-length uh. I don't know that i would call her a bob, but just a mid-length cut here i'll take the headband out in just a minute, but as you can see, definitely lots of waves throughout i'll show you the back here in just a few minutes, and there is A lace front, so you can see that lace front and it's temple to temple, so the lace front is about right to there there to there. The ear tabs are fine there. So let me go ahead and take out the headband, and you can kind of see why i have the headband in scarlet has a lot of permatease a lot of permatease. Now i don't have a wig cap or a wig band under here holding this. So this is going to kind of move, but there is a actually i don't remember. Is there a monofilament part we're going to see that in just a minute, because i don't remember, but you can, because you know you have that lace front. It goes from here to here, okay, so there's the kind of length of it. You can kind of part it anywhere in that space. So if you want to part it over here, if you wanted to part it over here or in the middle, whatever you wanted to do, there is permatease. I think this is a basic cap, except for that lace front now that i'm feeling of it so there's permatease all over here. All of this is permatease and to me it's a little nasty, it's a little nasty to me um. I haven't worn it. I guess because of that i haven't really worn it out anywhere. I mean it's not the tag on it. It'S not a bad wig. I think it's just going to take a little bit of work to get her kind of where you want. So you could. You know wash it for one thing: that's gon na help a little bit and then, instead of maybe drying it upside down, don't dry it upside down dry, it right side up uh! You can also use a little bit of steam, so i'm going to go ahead and take it off. It'S one slide off anyway, so let me go and take it off. It has a pretty deep lace front there as you can see, and then all of this here is permatease. The back has the velcro adjuster. So i have those pulled in pretty far because i have a petite average head circumference. There is an extended nape back there as you can see those curls it's kind of soft waves kind of at the bottom. There scarlet is not heat friendly. So if you want to use any heat on her, you have to be really really careful about that. So maybe just a little bit of steam, but just be really careful. You could kind of steam the permatease, maybe just a little bit, but again you have to be really really careful now. I know that if i just work with scarlett a little bit, i think she'd be great because she's super cute um this. If i just got it wet a little bit. I think it wouldn't be kind of just poking out like that, but you know just kind of get it wet and then just manipulate that curl and it would be fine. So i really do like scarlet, but i've got to work on her and i just right now. I don't have time to work on her, but i just wanted to show you a little bit about how scarlet looks and we can really see the color pretty well. Here so like i said, this is 8 32, which is called cocoa bean. So an 8 is a medium brown. That'S all an egg is a medium brown and then it's blended with 32, which is a medium natural red and the red highlights, definitely aren't super in your face. It'S a very, very well blended piece. So i wouldn't even say that this is a super super warm color either. If anything to me, it leans more neutral than warm, definitely not cool. I also think it's good, sometimes to see wigs that haven't been manipulated too much, because i've put this one on a couple times. I don't know if i actually have any videos with it on um. I'Ve tried it on, but i don't think i have really gone any further than that, so i haven't done any manipulations to it, except for i put the headband in it before we started this video other than that nothing. So when you get out of the box, it's going to look very similar to this. If anything, it will be more flattened because that permatease will be flat to the cap, so you'll need to get in there and you know get that permatease or those hairs off the cap. So you can definitely shake the wig. That definitely helps, but you know sometimes you see these videos and you know as a wig reviewer, we want to make the wig look like it should look and show you what it can look like, but sometimes you just want to see what it looks like when It comes out of the box and how much work you're going to have to put into it. So this is a really good example of that. Now you might be looking at this and saying i love it like that. Hey great um, i wouldn't wear it like this. I would want to do something with the permatease. Probably all i would do maybe is either dunk it in cold, water or spray, some um, just cold water on it and kind of run. My fingers through it just to you, know minimize that permatease just a little bit. Let me go ahead and i've got a little errant hair right there pull that out. Um. Let me go ahead and show you scarlet from all sides. I will leave all of the relevant information for scarlet for you down below the measurements, uh the weight and all that stuff down below for you, and i don't remember where i purchased scarlett, but i can also leave some links down below for you, where you can Purchase it if you're interested, but thank you so much for watching if you have any questions for me, be sure and leave them down below, and i will try to get to them and answer them for you have a great day, and i will talk to you Soon, bye,

Brenda A.: Hi Jennifer. I, too, have Scarlett, and I'm feeling just like you. It's been a couple of months, and I still have put off dealing with her. That permatease is really throwing me off. Wondering if I can thin it out or ?? I love the curls, but Scarlett is a lot to handle. I hope you will revisit this wig after you have done your customizing. I'd definitely be interested!

Suz What: The color is beautiful on you. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️

S.A. Kenyon: I purchased Scarlett years ago. She is so cute, but the PT is not good. I love that color on you too. She might look better in a rooted color.
