All right, hey, y'all, welcome to my channel. So today i've got a wig geared towards my natural girls. That does not require any free spray. No lace! No! Nothing like that. So if you're interested in this look keep on watching all right y'all, so let's get right into this tutorial. So just starting off on straight hair. I'Ve had my hair straight now for over a week and i'm just going to start getting my leave out. So i'm going to take about an inch on each side of this part for my leave out so an inch here an inch here. I didn't use any combs anything for this. What i've discovered with? U parts is the top of my hair, so the front of my hair is much thinner than the back and the middle, so i have to take out a little bit more hair for the combs to stay. However, with this particular wig, i actually could have got away with much less so i'll get to that in a minute. As for the size, i only took out this um right side like right in the i guess the front and i left the other side as is, and then i'm just going to twist my hair up and pin it down you can, you know braid it up. However, you feel um comfortable with, but i kept it really easy and really simple and just bobby pin the rest down. So let's get into this? U part wig y'all, so this is ally. Pearl'S 30 inch kinky straight 250 density, u-part wig y'all, these combs, these tiny combs. These are actually like. The super small ones were genius, absolute genius for this u-part wig. It made the install so flat so flat. They were also very secure as well, so installing a u-part, if you have not done it, it's literally the easiest thing you could ever do in your life when it comes to hair and like a wig, all you do is just clip the comb in and then You'Re just gon na press down on it until you hear it clip okay, it's more like a snap, but you get what i'm saying and that's about it so going into how i straighten this hair. I just use my little straightening brush here. That'S double sided! I got this off of amazon, i will link it down below. It was nothing more than like 10 or 11 dollars, but it's an awesome brush and then i'm just using my favorite flat iron, which is my baby bliss flat iron, and here it's set on 400 degrees and i'm just doing one pass the thing with kinky hair. I want you guys to be careful, because i've done this before maybe like two years ago. You don't want to put too too much heat on it. Um or else you'll lose that texture, which is absolutely beautiful alley. Pearl did a great job with this hair with the texture is super soft y'all and it straightened very easily - and this is actually my first time working with this particular texture from ally pearl, and i really really like it. You guys. I really do. I just want you guys to be careful with flat ironing it it's okay to put heat in it. It'S y'all! That will be that's just fine. I just don't want you to overdo it. So once you flat iron, it like one go around, leave it like that. For a good minute until it needs to be washed because you don't want to just keep adding heat to it and make sure you are, of course adding your heat protectant y'all, i'm telling you. I was like super in love with this, and i also really like the length too, like i feel like whenever i see u part like kinky. U part wigs, you know most people even myself. I just rocked one in like a 16 or 18 inch, something like that, but this is 30 inches and i like, oh, my god, i was feeling this hair. Keep in mind. You guys y'all, don't have to only put heat in it to straighten it. You can put some braids in and do a big braid out twist out all that kind of stuff you can do with your natural hair. You could do with this u-part wig as well, so i purposely didn't really speed it up until now, so that you guys could see just how slow i was taking it when flat ironing this hair um. Just doing one pass, like i said, one pass on high heat is enough um. I would also say if you have a mannequin instead with instead a mannequin stand, which is what i typically use um with my wigs. I would flat iron this hair first to really get to the roots, and then i would you know, put it on your head, but you know i don't know why i didn't do that. Just go around y'all. I just wasn't thinking, but it's all good. So before i move to the next side, i just want to show you guys one side that has been flat ironed and the other one that has not and how flat these little clips right here are, especially if your hair is thin in the front like mine. I just really loved how it was a little bit flatter, but still had that texture to it, like you know, blown out or relaxed um, hair you're, just perfect, so um. As far as my leave out goes, i didn't really want to put that much heat back into my hair, because my hair had already started to revert and i typically only straighten my hair, like my natural hair twice a year. So what i'm gon na do, which is what i just did i'll, show you guys again, i'm just gon na take a section and then i'm gon na, like lightly kind of press, the flat iron on it, holding it really taut. I'M gon na keep it really tight right here and just twist it back. I do this all the time to keep my hair straight, depending on what style i'm doing and just twisting it straight and not doing a bantu knot or anything like that. Just helps me. You know just maintain you know just not my hair, reverting because that's the last thing i want right now, unless you know i should have did like a braid out or something like that, because my hair had already started to revert, but that's here nor there so Going on to my edges, i'm using a really um really light hand with this edge control or gel whatever you want to call it. It'S the lagoon jam that i really really really love for my edges. I tried my best not to put it like all throughout my hair, because i really just wanted those little baby hairs to lay um as flat and as straight as possible. Um i didn't want to put it all over. You know my leave out. So that's exactly what i'm doing here and just using my little brush that aliperl provided as well um to kind of give me a little bit of swoopage and then next, i'm just going to just tie my head down for about 30 minutes finish getting ready and Once i am back, which is right here, put a little makeup on and stuff you guys, this is all i did. I just took my scarf off. I undid the little twist. This, u part, is definitely on the browner side and my hair is not as brown as this. It'S actually more like a 1b kind of color. I guess um so just be mindful of that and just know you may have to color it in order for it to match, but all in all, that's really that's it. You guys just tucked it behind my ears and i was good to go so i hope you enjoyed this video you guys. This look was so so easy perfect for start of school.
