But let's do something about this hair, so first things. First, i have to do my real hair. So, as you can see it's almost dry, i let it air dry, because i don't like to blow dry my hair like when it's still wet. So i let it air dry, i have some leave-in conditioner in it and some heat protectant spray and i've combed it out. So it's not tangled or anything, and i am relaxed by the way. So i'm about to blow dry my hair and then um, i'm going to probably straighten my wig. I think i want to wear straight hair, so i need to straighten my wig and like braid, my hair up for my you part wig, and then we're going to do makeup. So now my hair is pretty much dry. Maybe some of my roots are still a little damp, so now i'm going to go in with a smaller teeth comb and then i'm also going to turn the blow dryer up on the highest setting, because i start off with it on warm and like the high Fan but now i'm going to turn it up to hot, with the high fan just to get it like dry dry, all right, so i blew the fuse, so i had to run downstairs and reset it, but we're back in business because when i say yeah all The lights and power just shut off. I was like god damn it hey when i do that, but now that we're all straight in my roots are not as thick we're going to go ahead and i'm going to part it and go ahead and start braiding it down, so that i can put my Weight again, but who ain't got hair upon their wig? I got hair y'all. I wear my hair a lot. I wear my real hair a lot i just like to wear my hair, um and protective styles for the most part, even though i am relaxed like i still wear my hair out, but i just like wigs and weave, but since i'm turning 30, i think i'm Gon na go with shorter hair this year, so i just ordered some hair um a couple weeks ago and it should be getting here soon. It'S the same company that i've been wearing, which is d, hair, boutique, um and obviously i'm not sponsored by them. So it's not like a little promotional shout out to them or anything but um. I really like their hair. I really do. Is this centered. It looks centered enough. Don'T want to leave this much hair out um. I think that's a good amount of hair to leave out might be a little too much. I might just do a little. Ah, i think this is enough. I think this is enough. I don't know all right. So, let's see and y'all i cut my ends. Often, i'm not afraid to cut my hair like a lot of people like i will get the scissors real, quick and just start chopping away at some. I used to be scared to cut my hair, but my hair grows that quick, so not anymore, i'm not afraid to so i'm just going to keep this part separated while i braid down the rest of the hair. So all right, i'm gon na use my edge booster edge control and i'm gon na just put some of this on where i'm gon na start the braids going to the back all right, y'all, so y'all can see. I have my hair pretty much braided all the way around in the back and then when i was finished, i just took all of the braids. I have eight braids and i just um braid them into two pigtails and put a rubber band on the end, and then you see i have what's going to be my leave out here. I have the braids, which i connected to two braids in the back, and so all of this is going to get flat ironed and as far as my edges, i'm just going to go ahead and sew those down with some edge control. This probably is a lot. Let'S see um, i usually do this at the very end, but i'm thinking i want to flat iron my hair with it on. So let's just go ahead and see how much i got right here. Oh yeah see: okay, i'm usually not one for structured edges like how i just did this. I i usually don't care to do um like the different swoops, but why not since we're here since we've already began, let's see and that's going to go there and just comb it behind my ear, all right, so i got my edges and now i just have My leave out so i'm going to go ahead and fit the wig to my here. So yeah see how neat that is now. As far as the two pigtails i'm going to push them through a braid, so i have like the crochet tool and all i'm gon na do is take this flip it up and pull it through another braid. So for the fat piece, i don't necessarily need it. Let'S see, can i do it without putting that in there yeah so see. Take this and pull it up through a braid - and i put it through like this middle effect right here and then i'm going to take it through and then i'm going to hook it and pull it through the other side here and pull it through. That way, and then i'm gon na take my nail, let me see: nope, i'm gon na use the tool i'm gon na. Take the tool clip the end in it again. Let'S see, is it clipped? Let'S see all i'm doing is just feeding the braid through, like the end of the braid through the part is braided down. I see that i have it yeah there. It is okay, all right so and there it is. So i pulled it all the way. Back up through - and i got this little tail piece left - i don't necessarily need to um like it doesn't bother me, but if you want you can pull it through, i'm gon na. Just let it be i'm gon na. Just let it be it's gon na get smushed anyway. Let me see i could just tuck it through i'm gon na do the same thing on this side, all right. So let me show you how i clip my wig on, so i have all of these clips added to the inside of my wig, and then i have the ones up here that you actually fasten. So let me open these and i went back and added a middle clip because i didn't have the middle clip at first and it wasn't good. So let me see if this looks better this time and if it's big enough yeah and then let me pull it on in the back. So i have three clips at the top. Where my leave out is. I have three clips in the back and then i have two clips on each side. Take this push those in there and we're going to take this one and spread it out a little bit open it and push them in there and then my edges. So i take my comb and i slide it up under the clip and then i just push it to fasten, because i can't just close the clip myself. I don't know why make sure it's pushed in all right y'all. So this is the wig installed and the curl pattern. That'S in it is like it's a wavy, um natural wave that i really like. So it came out good um, i'm going to straighten it. I think i want to do straight hair, or do i want to do curls? They both take about the same amount of time, because i press my hair out um with a comb. I do the trace method. I don't know i'm gon na see all right. So while my flat iron gets hot, i'm gon na be using the cheese silk infusion and it's just like a um serum, and i put this in my hair before i straighten it, so i don't want to use too much. I just use like this much rub. It together and i'm gon na just literally wave my hands through my hair, because i don't want it to be too um oily. So i do put this in my real hair too and then another thing i do is put um. This wax stick like in my hair on my part, so that i can literally flat iron my hair, and it can get stuck in the position i want it to be in because i definitely want to make sure it's going to cover the tracks. So i just smooth that in there and then that way when i flat iron, on top of it like it'll, be crisp, see it's it's coming together, we're coming together. So after i flat iron, this hair, i'm going to do my makeup and then i have two outfits. I don't know which one i want to wear they're, both dresses um one is a black dress. That has like a little knot, detail in the front and then another one is like a mauve and cream off the shoulder dress. So i definitely want to decide before i do my makeup, because that will determine if i go for, like a smokey eye for the dark, dress or um, something more natural and soft for the lighter colored dress. So i don't know yet we'll see. But let's do something about this hair, so all right, y'all! So now that my hair is done, i'm going to do my makeup, so i'm just going to pin these back and i use these clips because these don't put the dents in your hair. I just need to stay behind my ear all right, so i already um toned my face with the ole harrison um oil control one and i'm gon na be using my hourglass primer, my dior foundation, and i'm going to be trying this new tarte ultra creamy um Concealer that i just bought during the 21 days of ulta beauty sale so we'll see how this wears tonight, because um i hear it's not supposed to cause like so much creasing underneath your eyes, so we'll see how it goes all right. Ladies! So here's the final look. I have this cute little sweater dress on and um. I have my louboutin heels. It'S my little sandal booties, i'm wearing a nude clutch. It'S over. There. Y'All can see it so my camera had died. So i have to use baby's phone. So i couldn't finish filming the rest of my makeup. Look but here's a close-up. I just went with like a natural beat with a little light, pink rose, pink eye and i think it came together really nicely so, since i ran out of space on my phone, i don't think i'm gon na be able to vlog the dinner but i'll. Try if it lets up a little bit, but we got ta, go because we're late
