Kinky Straight Upart Wig Install Ft. Luvme Hair

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is malia. If it's your first time here, thank you for clicking on this video. So, as you can see, i reviewed love me hairs. You part kinky straight wig. This is what it looks like. This is. The final look um, so if you want to know how i achieved this style, please keep on watching. Hair did send me this hair in pr um. However, that will not sway my thoughts on this hair um. Like i said this youtube channel was created for me to document my law school journey, so this hair thing just came out of nowhere. For me, i don't have a reason to lie about these products at all. So this is my honest feedback. This is their kinky straight u-part wig. I believe they sent me 20 [ Applause ] to 20 inches. I believe it's 20 inches i'll put it in the description box below as well. We'Ll include the link of where you can purchase this wig, but it is a u-part wig. In my opinion, the hair looks really really nice. I like it personally on me um. I think it looks really good. I wish i had somewhere to go and actually wear it, but i don't but i'm going to study after i finish this video, we can jump right into today's video, so my hair looks a mess right now. Um i washed and blow-dried my hair put it in two braids i wore a wig to school and then i just took it out to um. Do this video so i've already sectioned off my hair. The first thing you want to do for the u-part. Wigs is section off your hair, so obviously a! U part is in a? U so you're going to whether you want a middle part, you're going to want to create a u and fit the? U to how long or short! The? U part is in the wig that you're wearing in this case with love me hair. I noticed that the u part of it was very long. So, my? U actually doesn't stop until the back. Like the middle part of my my head back here so um, i don't know if you guys have seen my rpg show um review, but that you was a lot shorter, so you have to measure it to your hair. It'S not! This is why i'm like rushing through this part of the video because of your head shape, um and all of that good stuff. You have to measure that on your own, also um, you can see my hair is out on the sides as well in this little tiny ball um. So i'm i like to leave the sides of my hair out when i wear a u-part. This is totally just my preference. You do not have to do that, but i found that it looked more natural um and if the wind blows like you can just see your edges, um and all of that good stuff. So i think it just looks better to section it off. I took like this much of my hair out on the sides um and on the sides here, and then i have my u attached to this side right here. So what i am going to do now is the rest of my hair that will not be out left out in this. U part, i am going to braid it now. I personally do not know how to braid but um. If you do know how to braid this step should be simple. I'M not going to show this because i actually do not know how to braid um it's not straight. I don't know how to cornrow at all, but if you do know how to braid. Just put your hair in braids um going to the back, so i kind of do these fake braids to the side right here, bobby, pin it up, and then i throw on my. U part. So i am going to do that and then we'll be back to install okay. So now my hair is braided to the back the hair that i am not going to leave out um. I just braided it in two little braids and then i bobby pinned it. So this is the u-part wig from love me hair. This is the inside of it. It has three clips at the top and then it has one clip at the nape of your neck um. It also has um elastic an elastic band, so you can adjust it. So this is what it looks like like. I said, the, u part is really long and it's actually a little wide, but this is the inside. This is the cap construction. This is their kinky straight. It does have that kinky texture, but it's actually very very straight. I hate to keep comparing this to my rpg kinky straight wig, but just for comparisons, if you need them to really understand what i'm saying so, the rpg show wig matches my natural hair blow dried okay, so you can like blow dry the hair clip it in And it'll look seamless this hair. On the other hand, it's a lot straighter than the rpg here, as you can probably tell this is the bottom of it, but this is a lot straighter, but it just has the kinky texture. So, in order to wear this wig and make it look flawless and seamless like it is actually my hair, i am going to have to straighten my hair um. So that's just something i want you guys to keep in mind a lot of people wear u-parts too, as a protective style, especially the kiki straight texture for those who have kinky hair, but this you're going to have to probably straighten um if you're a natural. If you have natural hair like me, if you have relaxed hair, you probably don't have to do it, because this is how probably your hair is relaxed, but my hair isn't relaxed it's natural, as you can see, uh there's a lot of kinks and not so i'm Going to have to straighten my hair a little bit, but i don't mind that if it looks really good, so what i am going to do is throw this off, so i fit it to the back of my head first. I just think that works best. For me, it has the snappable combs, so you can snap it on and really feel that it's secure and it's really not going to come out. So i snapped it open and snap it back closed. Okay, now, for this part same thing, there's a clip here, i'm just going to move it all the way over to that side of the. U part and snap it closed and same with this side going to take that pull it all the way over and snap it closed. So now that the wig is snapped on i'm going to take my natural hair out. Let'S see this is my natural hair. So i'm going to brush it out because now clearly my hair does not match with this. This is really really straight, so i have to try to blend my hair in with this, so i have to straighten it like i said before, which is not a problem for me, so i'm going to part my hair the way i want my part to cover It up, i usually like my parts right around there, so i left enough hair out to fit inside of the u-part wig. So now all i have to do is straighten my hair to blend it and style it. So this wig did come with a straightener um. I'M a little nervous because i have a straightener that i like to use i'm going to try out their straightener today. They sent it to me, so i might as well try it out. So now what i'm going to do is move my hair out of the way, because i actually think i have to cut this hair. So this hair is all one length and clearly my hair, even though it's like in its blow-dried state, my hair is going to be easily seen if i don't give this hair some layers, so that can be a key tip for you guys to just make it Blend in and look natural, my natural hair is obviously not this long. You might be able to see exactly where my hair stops. So in order to prevent that make it look a little bit more natural. I am going to cut the hair now, i'm not a hair stylist. I don't know how to cut hair like a professional and also. I can't find my hair scissors right now. All i have is kitchen scissors. Don'T do this? Okay, find your find your hair scissors but uh for the purposes of this hair. I just need it to blend a little bit with my hair. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to cut some layers. I may have to go back and cut a little bit more, but i hope not because once i straighten my hair, i don't want to accidentally cut it, i'm not going to get it bone straight, i'm taking my natural hair and taking a piece of this. U part wig and i'm going to straighten it together. So i'm going to take love, me's, curlers and try to blend the two together. I am just going to straighten the rest of my hair um, so it can blend and then we will style it and see how it looks. So i pretty much have blended it to my liking. Um, as you guys saw, i basically passed through my hair once with this curler. I have it on 180 degrees celsius pass through it once with the cone to make sure the heat evenly disperse throughout my hair, and it basically matches the texture of the. U part that love me, hair has here is the bottom of the hair, so i think it looks really good um. I wouldn't say it looks exactly like my hair, but if it was a little bit shorter, it's definitely passable. Okay, it's definitely passable um. It'S a little long, but it looks really good. So i am going to curl this hair um just to see how it curls with kinky textures. Sometimes hair companies have it where you can't curl it and you can't style it. So i'm just going to test it out, but it looks really really good to me right now. I really really like it. The hair is soft and it's not tangly, it's not naughty or anything, and i think it did blend with my natural hair pretty well. I'M going to curl the hair using the chi luxury curler. I believe this is a one inch barrel um. I will have the link to this below as well um. I use this to curl my hair all the time it looks so so so good. So i'm going to curl it just put some little some curls in it just to see what it can do, um and then i will let you guys know my final thoughts, okay guys. So this is the final look. I hope you guys enjoyed it. This is what it looks like um, so yeah. I actually really really really like this u-part wig um. I'Ve only tried two, this one and the one from rpg show uh, but this is a whole vibe. Okay, this is a vibe um. I can put my hair up if i wanted to to the side mess around with it, but it really goes well with my hair texture. Obviously i am african-american. My hair is kinky, so these natural ish type of hair textures, i really really really thoroughly enjoy um. Like i said this looks like it could be my hair. This looks really really natural, really really really natural. I feel like my real hair, blended in uh, fairly fairly well um, and it looks really good, even though i did cut it with kitchen scissors. I think uh the layers turned out really well, so my hair kind of flows in between the layers here um, i think it looks really really nice. Personally, i was sent this hair in pr, but i would definitely purchase this with my own money. I know. Sometimes it's hard for people to believe, but i promise you i just started youtube. I'M not here to get all of this clout and fame, i'm here to document my law school journey and none of all of this extra stuff matters to me, the texture. I definitely agree that it is kinky straight. It is more on the straighter side than kinky, but you can still feel that texture, like the texture of the wig, is the texture of how my natural hair feels very very simple, very simple. You clip it in and when i tell you this wig is secure. It is secured okay because they used good quality clips for this hair. It makes it all the better. I can pull on this hair, i'm pulling really hard. I shouldn't do that, but i can pull on this hair and it didn't even it didn't even budge. It didn't hurt up here or anything um because of the quality of the clips. I would definitely recommend it to you guys.
