How To Revive Your U-Part Wig From Knappy Hair / 1 Year Update

So today i'm going to be showing you guys how i revived this u-part wig. I brought this wig last year and i haven't really worn it since then, like i haven't, i just haven't really worn it. I don't know um probably since, but since, like last may, like i haven't really touched, the wig haven't worn it. I haven't tried it, so i decided that i was going to revive it. This wig is from nappy hair um. I actually did a review on the wig when i purchased it last year, but then i kind of just started to get different, hairstyles and just kind of forgot about it. I just kind of wanted something different with my hair and i kind of want to give like my actual hair, a break without having to go ahead and break the bank and go and get um an actual sew-in or anything. So this is a really easy alternative for me, so i went ahead and tried to revive it girl, and i think i did a really really good job hair. It really wasn't like even matted or anything like i told you guys. I really have not touched the hair since i purchased it last year. I just left it in the dust bag that it came in and girl. It was a little bit. It was a little bit. You know rough around the edges i needed to definitely be conditioned and washed, but it wasn't too bad. So definitely go pick yourself up a u-part wig from nappy hair extensions. This video is not sponsored at all, but i genuinely actually really love the u-part wig. You guys want to know what i did to revive my u-part wig and make it back to illustrious beautiful self after a year of not wearing it then go ahead and continue to watch the video alright guys. So this is the u-part wig. It just comes in that dust bag and i've had it in that dust bag for about a year. So this is what it's looking like, as you guys can see it's kind of tangled matted um. You know it hasn't been washed condition, so it definitely needs to be revived so to wash the hair i'm just going ahead and using my gardener, fruits, sleek and shine shampoo. I really love this shampoo. It'S like four dollars, but it actually really does a good job at getting out everything on my natural hair and on my bundles and wigs and everything like that. So, as you guys can see, i'm just going ahead and washing the u-parts um i did wash the inside as well because, like i said, i haven't worn this in a year, so i just wanted to make sure it was nice and clean next, i'm just going In with my conditioner, this is just the organics coconut milk conditioner. I really like this conditioner as well. It'S good for thick hair. It really helps to smooth it out and just conditions. It really well. So i just put that throughout the hair - and i'm just uh brushing it through before i get out. Okay, so after you've applied the conditioner you've brushed out the hair. You want to wait about five minutes before rinsing out the conditioner, while you're rinsing it out, make sure you use cold water and just really get out everything all the conditioner and everything like that. So i do have a video on my channel, exactly how i apply my? U part um. I do it the exact same way in that video. So i'm not going to spend too much time talking through that part, but it's super simple, literally just french braid, the back of your hair and part it the way that you want to wear it, but yeah i'll go ahead and link the video where i show You guys exactly my process because it's super simple. So this is the! U part on and i didn't actually even blow dry the hair. I just kind of air dried it for a few minutes, but i'm going in with my revlon dry brush. I love this brush. Draw i got to do a video on it because it's actually so good. It works better to me than using an actual blow dryer with um the comb. It'S basically the same thing, but i feel like it gives you a smoother flatter blow dry, especially for natural hair, so i just went ahead and brushed that out after blow drying. All i had to do now was to style my hair. I decided just to put some wand curls into my. U part, but, as you can see, i can definitely see a nice luster to the hair after just conditioning it and shampooing it. It doesn't take much to revive this. You part, that's what i'm telling y'all not sponsored, but this is a really good. U part, and it looks like your hair, which i love - nobody can detect that it is actually you part and it's not your hair, so yeah, i love it and it holds a curl really nicely. It'S thick. It'S luscious, i sound like a commercial, but i'm telling y'all it's not sponsored. I just really really like the. U part so here i am just putting in some wand curls to style and bam. Y'All. That'S it! That'S all you got to do to revive your you part. It'S super simple super, easy, nothing i didn't put like any oils or anything like that. Just some heat protector and i'm good to go so that's it y'all. I just put in some wand curls into the hair um after i wash it and conditioned it and girl. We are back onto cute status. Okay, we are back so yeah. I really love this u-part wig. I cannot believe it's been a year since i've worn it and it's still really really good. There'S no shedding my hands are being able to run through it very easily. Although this is a nappy, a nappy, texture, um, it's very soft, it's very natural! Looking! I love it. I think it blends in perfectly with my natural hair, so i really really love this wig.
