My name is shanika e and in today's video i'm going to be reviewing this beautiful eunice upart wig. For you guys. I picked mine up from amazon and it came in about three to five business days. Once you open up your package, you'll receive a care card that simply tells you what products works best in the hair and just a couple of guidelines on how to care for the hair. You'Ll also receive your hair in this ziploc bag, as well as a hair tie, which is great for laying down those edges, and i love the fact that this is made of satin and not cotton, so we're gon na keep our edges intact. Girl. It also is very aesthetically pleasing with the eunice logo located right in the center. They also give you a complimentary wig cap to ensure that your wig lays nice and flat. One of the reasons i was drawn to this wig is all of the texture that is located throughout the wig, this wig mimics natural hair to the tee. I cannot recommend it enough on the inside of the wig you're going to have two combs that lay to the side of your part, a comb at the back of the part, two combs on the side and a comb in the back. You also have adjustable straps to make sure that your wig fits you perfectly and there's also a little bit of lace in the back just in case you want to pull it up in a ponytail. I am going to be dyeing this hair today, using these two adora colors in jet black and black velvet, we're going to be dyeing it using the watercolor method. So i have added hot water to my bucket and now i'm simply adding both of the hair dye and giving it a quick stir off camera. I did add a little bit of conditioner to my water as well, so that i can make sure that i'm keeping the hair as soft as possible as we're going through the dyeing process. I let the hair process for about 40 to 45 minutes and, as you can see, the hair took the color very well. So now i'm going to go ahead and straighten the hair. I'M going to straighten the hair using my conair infinity pro flat iron, a small tooth comb as well as a little biostick oil. I am going to be doing the chasing method today to ensure that i only have to pass through the hair one time. As you can see this hair straightens beautifully, i did not run into any snags or much shedding at all, while straightening this unit. It took me about 15 minutes to straighten the entire unit and to me that speaks to the manageability of the hair notice. I am making a few passes at the root of the hair, because this is where the majority of the texture is, and then i'm only going to do. One pass down the length of the hair, i'm doing so to ensure that i keep the integrity of the hair intact, as well as allowing the hair to blend with my real hair. At this point i was thoroughly impressed with the hair it had so much texture, shine and movement baby stiff wear, it is the following day and now i am ready to apply my wig. I do not know how to braid, so i did two flat twists to the back and i did two flat twists to the side of my part to serve kind of like anchor twist so to speak. I'M adding my complimentary wig cap and then i'm gon na put this baby on. As you can see, i did have a little trouble laying the front of the unit down moving forward i'll simply put a bobby pin towards the front to ensure that it stays down and in place and i'll be good to go. This is the eunice u-part kinky 20-inch wig in love. Okay, i love how versatile it is. I like that i can leave my hair out. You really wouldn't tell if you didn't know me whether this was my hair or not. I love that it has texture in it. You can see the texture underneath because i did only pass it one time you've seen in the previous clips that i did dye this hair a jet black, and i also dyed my hair or rinsed my hair, a jet black as well.
