How I Style/Blend My Curly U-Part Wig! | Ft. Addcolo Hair

Welcome back to my channel guys today, I'm showing you how I got this look by using a? U part: wig, if I add Colo hair, if you're interested all the links are in the description to get this hair for yourself, super super cute. So if you wan na know how I got this look then keep on watching. This is the hair here, so I'm gon na just start off by basically sectioning off my hair. The whole point of a you part wig, is that it's kind of like a half wig, but you have more hair in it. So you have some leave out and this really gives a natural look because, obviously of your natural part, so I'm just taking out my leave out right now. Luckily, my curls at the front are super loose, so they blend in with this wig. The rest of my hair would end now, I'm just putting a low bun, because I don't know how to French braid and I'm just gon na basically twist it around and bobby. Pin it secure at the top, I'm just gon na apply some gel to my leave out so that I can't like um, of course, some defined curls. I don't want it to frizz up and not blend, so I am adding an eco styler gel the one with the black, castor oil. So now I'm ready to apply my wig. This is the wig right here. These are the clips that help you secure it, and then there are also some adjustable straps at the bottom that you can tighten by the way ignore the residue in my hair. That'S just because the gel and the leave - and I use don't really work well together until it's dry, so anyways, I'm just applying the wig here. I'M putting this adjustable little clips in to secure it and adjusting the strap as well to do the tightest so that it is secure on my head cuz. I don't want to be caught, slipping and lose my wig. So now that that's on I'm going to try and blend these pieces here and basically I like to finger coil finger detangle these curls with the gel. I also had olive oil to give it a shiny texture, so it blends even better right now. These are, of course, still wet. So what I'm gon na do here is I just scrunch them to form the curl a little bit and then, after that, once it dries, then it blends a little better right now. It just doesn't really look too good. I, like a side part, so what I'm gon na do is just slicked back the side and pin it behind my ear. This helps blend a lot actually. So I really like that. So I'm just gon na go in here and just brush it down with the hair that is in the wig and then I'm going to secure it with a bobby pin or a couple bobby pins. I think I use like three, but you hide them anyway, so it doesn't really matter so to give it an even cleaner. Look I like to gel down my baby hairs, I'm just using eco styler here and doing a very natural wave pattern on my baby hairs and I'm basically blending it in even more with the hair from the wig. You can't really tell the difference. To be honest, so yeah I'm just basically doing it on the one side, the other side I don't need to, because I will have to leave out kind of falling over in my face, but over here I just want to clean up the look so yeah. Now I'm just blending some of the curls of mine from the leave out with the rest of the hair and just kind of placing it over the part of the wig. So, of course, you want to hide anything to do with the wig that you can so that no one catches you slip in and then I have like a little heat damaged piece there. So I'm just putting it back because I don't like when it's just like straight so I've pinned that one back, I should probably just cut it but whatever so. As you can see, my leave out is looking a little bit PC or stringy. It'S just the way that is drying right now, once it's fully dry, it looks much better, but I didn't have the time today. So this is the best you're gon na get in this video. Now, I'm just gon na adjust the wick of it. So I'm gon na take some spray. This is just a drop. A couple drops of argan oil mixed with water, and I just spray that all over my hair and then I'm basically gon na style it as I normally would like any curly wig or even my curls, just with like gel, probably eco styler gel. I think that's what it yeah eco styler gel. That'S what I use so I'm just gon na go in and just add it to some pieces that I feel like are frizzy and, like I said for some reason. There'S some residue when I mix this with my leave-in conditioner, but it doesn't dry like Daiya, dries clear so now that I've added that I'm gon na let this air dry and I will be back in a second so now we're just gon na trim. Some of the hair, just because I don't like how the shape Falls, so I'm just giving it some layers here. Honestly, I suck at cutting hair like I am so trashed, so do not use my method, but I'm just showing you because I did it so yeah. I just basically caught on an angle and I give it some layers only at the front. I don't touch the rest of the hair, so I'm doing that on both sides, because I'm right-handed. I have to use like an awkward angle for the other side which you're gon na see in a second and it's a little uneven, but it's curly. So it doesn't really matter if you're, a hairdresser, you're, probably cringing at my method, I'm so sorry but yeah that basically completes the look. This is the final look, so um you can do more to it. You can cut more. You can do whatever you want, but this is how I like it, so I'm definitely gon na be wearing this wig and yeah.
