Hey guys welcome to my channel. I am here with a hair tutorial and this is au part crochet wig I've never done any type of crochet style on my channel, so I just wanted to switch things up a bit and bring you guys something different. I was actually inspired by my mom to do this, because I've been doing a lot of crochet styles on her and she is obsessed with crochet wigs. She just loves the fact that she can take this off at night and also preserve the life of her hair and her wigs last anywhere from like three weeks to a month or maybe even more, depending on what type of hair it is. This was super quick and easy. I think it took me about an hour to make and I have a whole different look I'll have the links below where you can get this hair. If I can remember the name of it, um as well as if you would like to purchase a crochet wig for me, I will also leave my booking information in the description box. So, let's just jump right into the tutorial, for this look I'll be using a braided neck cap. These are perfect for crochet braids. I believe this is called the bounce braids I'll leave. The description below I used about two and a half packs and I was able to achieve that by cutting each pack in half as you see here, and to remove that blunt end. I just pretty much just kind of pulled and frayed the hair so that it looks more natural once I install it, so each strand was split into about three sections. This hair is really thick, so you definitely need to split it. Okay, let's see if I can explain this clearly for the crochet technique, you're going to latch your hook through the braid, take your hair and put it inside of the hook close the latch and feed it through the braid you're going to end up with this loop. Take the loose end of the hair and feed it through that hole, doesn't sound right, but you get it. I space the hair out quite a bit in the back so that it's not too bulky and I also skip the row so every other braid I would apply the hair. So here I am on my second pack. You can see that the first pack filled up half of my head, so if you're not going for an extremely big look, you can definitely get away with two packs. So this is the visible knot technique. It'S pretty much the same concept. The only difference is that you're going to pull one strand through the loop instead of both this is going to conceal that knot so that it's more natural at the roots. Now I'm just going to cut in between the braids and create a part, and I will be sewing combs onto my wig, I'm going to sew two at the top and two on the sides. This cap does have an elastic band in the back, so I don't have to worry about that. I normally braid my hair, but I just did not feel like it, so I just pulled it into a really tight bun. I do have a little bit of leave out, as I said before, you don't need to leave out here with this wig, but I'm just so used to leaving hair out, and I just rolled my hair with perm rods. I didn't have to do too much cutting to this hair. I like the length, so I'm just going to kind of shape around my face. This was super, quick and easy, and if you guys try this out be sure to tag me on Instagram or Twitter, with your recreations of this look, I really enjoy making it. I'M digging this row guys like I'm, loving it, but thank you so much for watching thumbs up if you liked it, and I will chat with you in the next video bye, I got finally got my lighting right. Do you see this Melanie, though?
