Tutorial: U-Part Wig Half Up-Do

Hey guys so today, I'm doing this half-up half-down ponytail with the baby hair pop in I use a new part wig for the bottom part, and I use some hair extensions for the top. It is a multi-step process, but point: is it worth it? My new favorite hair - let's get to it, okay, so here's what I've done. I'Ve parted my hair half up half down. I'Ve made this top part a little bit bigger than it needs to be because the ponytail is only gon na come like here, but I need to leave some hair to cover the wig. So now I'm going to put this up for a second and I'm gon na okay, so braid braid braid pinned up okay, so this is au part. I'M gon na use this as the back part of the half-up half-down. So the first thing I'm going to do is this is adjustable, so I'm gon na make it as small as possible. So I'm going to do that with the bands, because it's fitting a much smaller part of my head now. You know it's made to fit your entire head open these clips, I'm going to now click this on little extra security, I'm gon na take their. Is it back one I'm gon na lock that into place okay and then put a little extra in the back? The top is really secure. I'M not worried about that. I just don't want the backs coming up. Cuz it'll create like a little weird I'll. Just do two in the back. I can across them okay, great all right. This is good. So now I'm going to give it some cover, so I'm gon na follow the same exact part, but I'm just gon na give it a really thin strip of hair that I can then lay over to cover this track, because these grades are so disrespectful. Oh, my gosh, I'm running out of route. What am I gon na do if I run out of Route magic in quarantine? Dear God, Jesus be a fence. Oh okay, that totally did happen. Guess what? Yes, okay! So I'm gon na curl this now it's much easier to do it now before. I have to start worrying about this piece being on the way down, so that I don't inadvertently and pulling pieces from here into my ponytail now onto this girl. I went out this morning so little thickness in my edges, although my pointing work outside so this is why I always have been such a huge fan of group fitness classes because they really push me, as am i I'm like. Oh, maybe four sets of ten. I get to and I'm like toots good good now now this part is important. We'Re gon na attach hair to the top. Here, don't make this rubber band too too tight you want it to be tight. You got ta hold that ponytail in place, but let me say if this is too tight: you won't have anywhere to stick those pins underneath, which means it ought to be sticking into your head, which is like military torture, not at first but after two hours. Three hours, four hours, six hours, eight hours and one spot in your head with a bobby pin in it. You want to claw your eyes out so leave a little bit of space for those bobby pins. Now last step, I'm gon na wrap the high pony with some hair and then we're done so these are the pins that I was talking about absolutely insane. Now I just better create the wrap around the hair wrap around. I want it to be pretty thick. You know you want it to have that kind of like genie effect where it's holding the hair upwards, making the ponytail like perkier. So you want a pretty thick piece. This is important. You want to make sure that anywhere we've met your hair, you're curling it with a piece of the extension hair. So this is my hair, but I have this piece of extension here with it. It just helps it blend better. You notice I'm not going all the way down through reading about the last two inches and then let it go want it wavy, not curly.
