The Best Curly U-Part Wig Install + My Natural Curly Hair Routine | Asteria Hair

What'S up babes welcome back to your girl channel if you're new, my name is mo in today's video we're going to be installing this a very beautiful u-part wig this year, video was super highly requested. Well, actually, this wig was highly requested. Austria has amazing curly hair. So i decided to try a u-part wig for my natural hair girls, because i know you know some extra length is always good to have. You know i love a cute long curly, hair wig and i definitely don't want to take all the time to install it. So i decided to pick up this easy part wig from australia, hair. It is a 24 inch water, wave wig and if you guys are familiar with my hair videos, then you know i've only actually reviewed off serious curly hair and that curly hair is just bomb like hands down it's the best curly hair. Ever so, i decided why not try to blend it with my natural hair, so i can have some extra length and clearly the curls will look bomb if you guys can see like it actually looks, really bomb very voluminous, very moisturized. So if you guys are wanting to see how your girl installed, this wig then make sure you guys keep on watching. I wanted to show you guys the hair, how it looks when it first comes out of the packaging, it's so freaking, soft and cute. I absolutely love asteria's hair i've only ever gotten, curly hair from them, and i can honestly say, like hands down their curly hair is really bomb, so this here type of wig was actually highly requested, but this is how the hair looks when it comes out of The packaging it doesn't look like processed or anything to where the curls are like super defined. It actually looks really natural, so it does have like this little lace piece here that comes in all of the u-part wigs. You literally just cut that piece there. I don't know what else to do with it. It does have two clips here on the side and they do snap actually pretty good quality. They don't have combs. I really really love the clips in these wigs. It has one here at the back. It also has two here at the side and then one at the actual nape of the neck. So there's a lot of clips a lot of security for this to stay on your head really. Well, i love these. You part wigs when they already come with the clips. I don't have to do any extra work. The combs are just a really annoying, so this is how the wig looks and i'm so excited, because i've been trying to find a really cute hairstyle that can mimic. My natural hair, without having to do all of the lace work, so this here is my hair. I did just get like fresh out of the shower, so it is as wet as it can be. Honestly, this is kind of going to be somewhat of my curly hair routine. I know i get a lot of questions about that, so you know this will be a little example. What i actually do recommend with this wig, is kind of measuring the whole piece of the wig, so you can kind of get an idea of how much hair to take out. I'M gon na go ahead and put this wig on, so you guys can see. Okay, so if you guys can see, i will literally only need to take out this much hair i'll, probably take out just a little bit more going towards the back. So i can have some extra room and then i'll be taking out a little bit of hair on the side, not too much but enough. So that way, if the windows blow or if i want to roll my fingers through it, you know you can only see my natural hairline wow. Basically, what i'm going to do now is cut this piece and kind of measure it and make sure that i have enough leave out for the you, partly i'm just going gon na go ahead and re-wet a little bit of this hair. Yes, i'm gon na braid. My hair, while it's wet - and i just feel like it's so much easier to braid while it's wet, if you guys do, have natural curly hair, then you kind of understand, and especially with not wanting to put heat on my hair. You know this is a lot easier to do while it's wet, so basically what i'm doing is parting it down the middle as much as i can and then to make this very, very simple: i'm just going to do two braids on both sides. So if you guys can see it's brushing out a little bit, better looks smoother and i do actually have conditioner all throughout my hair. That is what i normally put in my hair to make it soft, because it's a nappiness okay, so i'm just gon na do two braids actually to keep it super simple. I'M just gon na do one braid on both sides. Okay, so basically i wouldn't wash the hair really quick, shampooed conditioned so now i'm going to go ahead and put this on i'm going to start from the bottom, because basically i want to crisscross the braids like this. We'Re going to start from the bottom clip that one and then pull that up this hair is just so bomb. I really love their curly hair it just for some reason, like their hair, always feels like on my natural curly hair, it's probably a little better, but it's so freaking soft. So i'm gon na go ahead and clip this one in here clip this one here at the top and then clip this one right there. Then i need to clip the ones here on the side. Let me re-clip this top one. I went ahead and clipped everything in and, if you all can see like it's super flat to my head, it fits pretty snug on and it definitely does fit to where it's not like covering my ears or anything like that now onto probably the hardest part of This video i'm going to go ahead and blend my natural hair with the wig so, like i said, my hair is like pretty dry like it's a bad girl, it's bad! So i'm gon na go ahead and wet this like drench it in water, probably about two or three times. Okay. So now i'm going to go ahead and make the middle part for my hair, i do is basically wet my natural hair again, while it's in place like wet now. This here, i want to say, is my secret, because i don't have the best curly hair routine. Whatever it is, but basically this here is the conditioner that i use this hair conditioner is what i've been using for years. This is literally the only thing that i can put in my hair to brush my hair out. That makes it feel super soft. This you can purchase in like your local, i believe walmart target beauty supply store. They sell it literally everywhere. It is super pricey for like the really small bottle, but i'm honestly like in love with this stuff. I can't use anything else and i do use a lot. I don't use really well, i don't use any other product but conditioner and for some people this may be too heavy for your hair, but i have to use lots and lots and lots of conditioner. For my hair to stay and even then it won't stay sometimes so to kind of add like an extra little moisturizer, i do use the olive oil, moisturizer and girl. I use a lot of that too. My hair is just a dry mess, so i like to keep as much moisture in it as i can, because i do not put heat on my hair very often, and that's just that i'll go ahead and re-spray it with some water and i'm gon na comb. It with my brush - this here is probably the best curly hair brush that you will ever get um. I know ross sells them, marshall sells them, tj maxx actually target sells them as well, and it looks like this, so you guys definitely need to go and get one. It'S so easy to brush your hair out while it's wet. So what you want to do is kind of get you like a t-shirt. This here is a really old t-shirt if y'all can see like i like to walk around in white and black tees. So this here is just the old one and you kind of just want to scrunch it up into your natural hair. I'M going to go ahead and repeat the same thing on the other side and i'll be right back now that i've done both sides, i'm going to go ahead and do my baby hairs. So basically, what i'm going to do is kind of wet my edges. Just a little bit, i'm going to take a little bit of conditioner because, like i said, my hair is like super super dry and i'm just going to put it all on my hairline area and i'm gon na go in with my eco styling gel, and this Is the only one that can actually hold my hair while it's wet or i actually lay down my baby hairs? I do kind of want to smooth my hair going back now, i'm going to go ahead and lay my baby hairs down how i would like them. My baby hairs are fully laid down. I just did them how i normally do so. I'M going to go ahead and let this air dry for a little bit so i've let the hair dry as much as i could. If you guys can tell by the lighting, it is dark, so it's not like super bright, but you guys can actually see like how good of a quality the hair is. This hair is, or the actual wig is a little bit more drier than my natural hair is, but it actually blended pretty well, i believe, if i do, let it dry a little bit more. It'S going to look even more natural, but i keep rubbing my hands through it you're not supposed to do that with curly hair. I do keep rubbing my hands through it and it isn't completely dry, so it does look a little bit frizzy on my natural hair. If you guys can see just a little bit, but i do recommend like putting just a little bit of oil on your natural hair, so it can kind of look as shiny as the weight would look, because the hair looks so bomb. I really wish my natural hair was like this like. I could still rub my hands through this and it's going to look really nice. It'S not dry at all, just like absolutely love it. So that's the wig and it's really cute and you can definitely you know, pull this your hair back. If you wanted to - and do you know some other type of hairstyle, if you want to maybe do like a half of half half of half down style, i think that that would be really cute too.
