Birthday Hair! U-Part Wig Styled On Type 4 Hair Tutorial

So, let's get into it, hey everybody, i'm back! It'S me hopeless, romantic and i have new goodies um. First of all, it's my birthday. Yes, yeah, clap it up pop it up. It is my birthday. I am 31 today and i'm kind of scared to do this, but i'm about to try a u-part wig for my birthday. Look um, i'm not gon na! Do my entire look on camera, but i am gon na. Do the hair and i'm gon na do the rest of what i'm gon na do later, because it's early in the morning, as you can tell, by the way my face looks um, but i'm not gon na put on any makeup until after my transformation, i have A u-part wig from nappy hair and i work with them. You know what i'm saying sign me up: um, but anyway, so here is the packaging that it came in. Well, it came in a box uh. I threw the box away. Sorry um, but this is what it comes in. It is silk. It protects the hair. It'S great, i have a kinky um, i mean uh. Yeah kinky course is the texture that i normally get um look at her. She is so pretty like and they ombred her for me so that i wouldn't have to dye it myself, because you see my hair is ombre, so i'm i'm gon na have to take this portion of my hair out and they didn't want me looking. You know. Unblended, you feel me, so they i'm braiding her for me and it looks great. It smells really good for some reason. I have no idea what they put on her. I have decided that i wasn't going to treat the wig first. I wasn't going to do anything to it first to see like how straight out of the package it would behave, but honestly it doesn't feel like. I need to do anything to it. Sometimes, when i get like kinky textured hair, i will deep condition it first like watching deep conditioning first before i do anything any styling with it, but i'm pretty sure this doesn't need that um. If i'm not mistaken, they do something to the hair before they even send it like they're, not going to send you no dirty hair um, but i really just want to test like the quality of the hair without me doing something to it. I am going to blow it out just a little because it's in its natural, like kinkier state, i don't have a wig head, so i'm going to have to do all of this on my own head. That should be very interesting. I don't know what that's going to be like um, but we don't see child, but it look. It just looks good. It feels great, it does not feel crunchy or, like i mean it, is coarse, but it doesn't feel it feels like real hair and it you know it is it. It feels the way that my hair feels when i blow it out real good. This is kind of a not that great of a blowout job, but i'm about to braid it back anyway, and i'm gon na probably go over this front part just a little so that it is not completely unblended so that i get it a little bit straighter Before i put it over the top of this now, i'm not gon na lie. I'Ve never done a upright wig before and i kind of don't like leave out, because i mean look at my hair, like if you've seen any of my hair, like any of my videos with my hair in its natural state. It'S not straight like i don't have straight hair, i don't have like. I have very curly hair and i live in florida and the humidity curls it right back up anytime. I try to manipulate it, so i don't really deal with leave out. If i do a wig, i normally will do a full wig, but i'm going to give this a try and hopefully it doesn't look bad, but i did have to also youtube um, uh y'all didn't tell me my phone was in the shot. I was doing a real before this. I had to youtube like what to do with the u-part wig i was like. Am i supposed to keep this lace on there and if i keep the lace, where is my hair supposed to go like? How is it a? U part if there's lace on it child. I know this is a stupid question, but i had to ask so i'ma have to cut this lace off, but this is how it comes. I didn't want to do it before. I showed it to y'all. This is how it comes with lace on the front um. This is the wig cap. They did take my measurements for this, so it fits pretty snug. It has combs. These combs are going to secure to the sides of you know where you're going to leave it out, and these cones are going to secure it to the front back your head. It also has. I know that this is not called a bra strap, but i'll be calling it a brush, strap because it looks like a brush. The little brush strap thing in the back to secure it to the nape of your neck and a comb in the back to secure it and these combs. What i really like about these combs is that they're not just like stick combs: they are the plant kind. So this is going to hold on to that hair and i need that because again i don't wear i'm not. I don't wear wigs that often, but you know anybody that wears wigs. The thing that you don't want is for your week to just come flying off at any point in the day, so i like the idea that it is going to get me it's going to get me right, i'm going to have it on there. It'S going to snap into place and i'm essentially not going to have to worry about it moving once i get it on. So that's a good thing. We'Re going to see how this goes, i'm not gon na lie. This is a bigger section than i would have left out. If i was making myself a half, i mean, are you part wig? I probably would have made it like smaller than that, just because i just have really thick hair and i feel like this is going to be a lot of hair out, but we're gon na see it might be cute. I'M just cut this lace off. Okay, i think i got another lace off. You know look at her so see like that's just a lot of hair to me, and i know if i bring it in i'm having a little in the back, so i got ta put it home. Okay, so i'm gon na have to get this right where it needs to go, and so let me put this it's not gon na be completely secure because of this ponytail oh hold on. That is real that look at that blend already like it already kind of just looks like my hair wow. Are you joking right now like look at the way my hair is about to sit on top of this girl? When i say i'm not about to be able to tell me a thing, i do mean it, but is this too much like? Is this too much hair out? No, i think this is about the correct amount and i'm gon na bust it down the middle or should i do a side part like the possibilities? They'Re endless, i'm thinking side. Part though, like i'm thinking, you know what i'm saying this. That doesn't look horrible. I mean it looks horrible right like that, but it looks good like the blend. It looks really good, okay, cool, so that's how much hair i'm gon na leave out. So let's start the braid process. Okay, so these braids look terrible, but that's okay, because they're going under a wig right, we don't care, we don't we don't care they're going underneath the wig the wig has already. This is how it came. This is what it looked like when it got to me. Um, it doesn't look bad at all. It feels great with their other hair. My favorite thing is that i do not experience a lot of shedding and i can put whatever products and just wash them right out, like i put so much hairspray on the the clippings, because i usually want curly and i'll be one of the wine curls to Stay so um with that. I never have like too much shedding and never just stays crunchy and stiff as soon as i wash and condition it it's back to normal, just like regular hair, which it is regular hair. So i'm going to just kind of spray. This damp so that i'm not blowing dry dry hair and i got this continuous spray bottle from the puff cuff. You can find my code romantic in the comment section. So basically, all i'm really trying to do is knock some of this wave out so that it's not so hard to get it straight, because i'm gon na try to i'm going to attempt this bone straight. Oh and to do this, i'm using my revlon uh one step blow dryer and brush combo my favorite thing in the world. I really need a wig head. I just really need one, but i'm gon na. So, okay, i think i think we're secure here. Yes, it's not sliding around; it doesn't feel lumpy. Okay, all right, oh hold on hold on. I like it. I like her so far. That looks really good. That looks really good. Okay, um! Let me heat up my flat irons, so i can get to pressing, but so i've gotten it pretty straight. It'S not going to be like bone straight, but it is very soft and silky um. As you can see, it's still a little wavy at the well. I don't know if you can see that, but it's still a little wavy at the root and i don't think that that's gon na go away. Um i mean yeah, i just think that's the texture of the hair and it is what it is. But you know, just all in all it looks great, it feels great, doesn't feel stiff. I might add a little bit more to go. I did a lot off camera because there was a lot going on just now um. So i'm gon na finish this on camera and then get to the leave out. Okay, look at us! Okay! So just right off the bat! They don't look terrible! You feel me so i'm going to use this um illuminati divine shine, holographic serum by saints and sinners. Um, it says it is ideal for all hair types. It'S a holographic serum. I like to use this when i straighten my hair, like if i don't, if i need my hair to be straight, but not necessarily like light and airy. I like to use this because it weighs my hair down. I don't know if you can see that, but it's like it's it's like thick and it weighs my hair down to a point that it doesn't feel like it's gon na raise back up right away and it makes it very shiny, so uh uh um. But i don't think it looks bad. You can still tell when my hair starts and stops, though, so i'm gon na have to put a little body in it so that i can curl this into this or or i can give y'all a good old-fashioned. Like you know, what i'm saying could i hit this for y'all? I think i could. I still need to work this yeah. I'M gon na need to blend this hair in some. So let me go through and add some body and i think i'm gon na do that off camera because i can't really see i need to go get in the mirror - and i don't have my other mirror in here. So i'm gon na do that off camera. Real quick and i'll be back. I did have to knock a layer, some layers into it with some scissors um. I hate that i didn't get to do that on camera, but i'm kind of rushing right now, but this is the finished look guys. My hair is out on top. I love this. I feel birthday i feel grown. I feel very sexy, and this week is everything like it is everything i feel amazing.
