Texture On 10!! || My First Kinky Straight U-Part Wig || Fr Divaswigs

What'S up, everyone welcome back to the channel to go, make a lin or wigs to wasteland back with another quick wig review big! Thank you to divas wigs for sponsoring this unit. They were kind enough to send me one of their u-part wigs. This is their kinky straight unit. I do have it in 20, inches in a natural back color. This will be my first time installing the u-part girl, so if you are interested stay tuned, so, as i mentioned in the beginning, this is going to be more of a combination of two things. I will be, of course, trying on this beautiful wig, but i'll also be doing a length check baby. So i am a little excited about this. Don'T straighten my hair, i don't blow dry it. I don't use a hot comb, anything um, so i did big chop last year and this is kind of me starting fresh starting new. So it will be interesting to see my hair straightened after this big chop. That they did send me is their uh kinky straight natural black u-part wig in 150 density, and i do have this in 20 inches, so you do actually have two combs on the side of the u-part one big comb in the back. I'M gon na go over those small combs and why i don't like them, and then you do have several combs along the perimeter of this unit. Now the cap size on here does not specify um. You do also get two elastic bands, as you can see right where the? U part is, i am gon na go ahead and, of course, show you how i get rid of those um in a minute so um like i said this is a kinky unit and of course you do also have adjustable straps in the back. So i did use a heat protectant before um. I started to blow dry my hair. If you guys, are interested in this blow brush. That'S what i've been calling it um i'll see if i can find it on amazon and i'll start an ongoing list in the description box. So i did use the fantasia heat protectant, i'm going to show you it later um in this video, and i use that to um basically straighten my hair holy cow. You guys look so this is actually wow we're coming on two years, yeah we're coming on two years since i big chop. Wow time flies, i am going to use a heat protectant, but thinking back to yesteryear back to my like kitchen press days, you know when mom had the hot comb on the stove and she used it on your hair. We didn't use heat protectants. We used some thick grease and our hair was still banging. We still had plenty of hang time, so i'm not all the way sold on a heat protectant. I think it does protect your hair, but i don't remember having heat damage back when i was younger, but anyway this is by ic i'm guessing fantasia. This is their hair, polisher heat protector, strengthening spray, so i'm just gon na really lightly. Put this on my hair. I'M actually going to put it on my hands and then rub it into my hair. Now one thing i would definitely change about this part is, i would have used way more oil, i'm so used to like doing a press and like trying to get movement, and i think with a: u part, you really kind of want to not not so much Weight your hair down, but you want that sleek effect, especially for the texture on this unit. So i did go ahead and cut those elastic bands out and you basically just snap the combs into place. I really didn't have an issue putting them on um, and here is what it looks like and i intentionally did not blend the top just so you can see the difference between both textures and baby baby. She blends now, if i really really really wanted to. I really could have got this sleek and straight, but look at that blend and that's just with a half press. I ended up taking that same oil and really spraying my hair, and this is what it looked like after, and this is also what it looked like when i took the pictures. The blend on here is like baby a1. Do i look like i got a tight circle or, like i, ain't got no friends because baby and i think it blended. Okay, now i do i'll admit you can see my hair just a little bit and that's only because my ends do need a real clipping, but that baby that blends. You cannot tell me that that does not blend um but yeah like i said you can kind of see my hair right here and that's only because i need a serious clipping on my ends. Now my only con with this unit, the clips in the beginning or the front of the? U part i do wish they were either closer to the front of the hairline, because they do stick up a little bit right here. I saw malibu doll faces review and he sewed, i think, like a thin piece of fishing line into the cap, so that he could get this part to lay flat girl. I used some bobby pins. I ain't got time for that, so i just used some bobby pins and you can kind of see one peeking through right here um, but you know i can just i can finesse that i can finesse that in there and you know just kind of fluff out The hair and you good girl, you good you good you straight, okay, because one i don't have no needle two. I don't have an official eye, so it is what it is and it still came out. Okay, um, but, like i said i think you know once my hair grows out a little bit more longer. I am i am so i am so here to try another u-part wig. I think with my length right now. It was a little bit on struggle street, but i'm really happy with the way this turned out. Um, i did forget to mention the cap on here, is pretty much a comfortable fit. I do wish it was just a little smaller or maybe if we had the combs adjusted in different positions a little bit better. I think i could get a better fit so once i put the combs in it basically flattened out and baby baby, and i need an excuse to wear this top.
