U-Part Wig Series | Ep.6 How To Wash Your U-Part Wig

Hey ladies Bianca charisma, here and today I am going to be telling you all about how I wash my you part, wigs, so um. This is episode. I think it's episode, 6 of my. U part wig series and if you have not watched the previous episodes, please make sure to watch all of them. I'M gon na put some kind of button on the screen that will allow for you to watch my last episode, but this series is basically a series that it basically tells you all about my experience and how I created my you part wigs. This is a! U part wig, I have been wearing u part wigs for like 4 to 5 years, just a very long time, and they have really helped my hair to grow and still allow for me to still look nice and glamorous and just the way that I want to Look so I am going to be having a giveaway at the end of the? This is going to show you how I wash my, u part, wigs and just um, just prep them for whether I'm blow-drying it or flat iron, ironing it or styling it. I thank you guys so much for watching and I will say just stay tuned, so you can learn how to wash your. U part week, alright. So what I'm doing is. I am rinsing, my? U part wig under warm water in the bathtub, you can choose to wash your hair wherever you'd like to what I'm gon na start doing is washing the ends. I am my u-part wig first, but before doing that I am just detangling the hair with a diamond brush. I have wavy virgin hair, so that is why I am choosing to detangle it. But if you have curly hair, please do the same thing even with straight hair. Please do the same thing so, as you can see, this is the inside of my u-part wig and I'm going to start washing that first, I'm using suave shampoo, just because it's pretty inexpensive and for the rest of my hair, I'm going to be using a different Shampoo and conditioner, something that is a little bit more more expensive than the suave shampoo. So it's very important for you to clean the inside of your. U part, wig, because your! U part wig is kind of like a hat like think of it as like a knit hat that you're wearing. Basically, when you wear a hat, you want to make sure that after you wear it for a good amount of time, you know you get a few uses out of it that you wash it in the washing machine. So you know you're going to want to clean the inside of your. U part wig, because you want to make sure that it's clean when you're putting it on top of your braids, and you know you don't want to transfer any type of bacteria or anything like that. So what I'm doing now, I use the Sivan luxe shampoo, my hair is from survive luxe. So if you have no clue about you know, Sivan looks here. It is amazing here great hair. So, like I said, go to the description box and please watch it. I have a survivalist shampoo, survivor, luxe, conditioner and ace. It'S like a globe mist spray, which is amazing too. So what I did was, I start shampooing, the top of my u-part wig, where the you and I am basically just getting it all sudsy and clean with the shampoo and then I'm gon na be rinsing it all out. So as long as you get your! U part wig, nice and clean and sudsy when you rinse out the shampoo, it's gon na hit every single strand and it's going to clean it out. So this is the surviving Lux conditioner. I am NOT going to be keeping it in for very long. I am just evenly saturating the hair with the conditioner. I am finger combing through it or you can use your diamond brush and I'm only gon na leave it in for a few minutes, because I am going to be deep conditioning the hair as well. So just finger wave our finger comb through it and that's pretty much it so I'm gon na rinse that out once it's evenly distributed and yeah, so just keep on rinsing you wash first, the inside of the you part you wash the actual hair of the you Part, so the salon luxe is the shampoo that I'm using and then I am conditioning with the surviving luxe conditioner. So now I am taking this Aussie moist deep conditioner. I absolutely love it and it is because I love the smell and I really love what it does to the hair. I use this on my natural hair as well, so I did two nice pumps of that and I am just evenly putting it all throughout the hair. Basically, the same thing that I did with the surviving luxe conditioner, I'm taking my Denman brush and I'm really just combing through my unit to get it nice and detangled and just really conditioned as well so make sure like. I said that you evenly distribute that conditioner and I am going to be putting my u-part unit in a shower cap and I'm going to let it sit for about 30 minutes. This is a three-minute deep conditioner, which is great. So if you're in a hurry, you don't have to leave it in the shower cap for 30 minutes. You can leave it for a shorter amount of time, but that's just usually what I do and that's my routine. So I just leave it like this and let it sit for a while and do whatever I have to do. I come back and I am just going to rinse the hair out. I'M gon na be rinsing with cold water, and I am just going to make sure that all of that conditioner is completely out of the hair, and it is your choice on what you want to do next, just make sure to detangle with the Dimond brush. After a while, you rinse the hair, because the demon brush is going to bring out the natural waves of the hair and that's pretty much it. So I am just rinsing out all of the water and I am using either a t-shirt in this case. I use the pillowcase and I am just drying the hair off like that. However, you want to dry the hair.
