Chile, I Tried A U-Part Wig For The First Time Ever! And It'S Givingggggg!!! | Asteria Hair

Hey child and welcome back to my channel. It is time to give your girl a makeover and switch up the looks so i was contacted by a serial hair and they was just like faye. Let'S get this video started so again, i was contacted by asteria hair and they asked me to try their u-part wig, which i'm very interested to see how that works out for me. So, let's pop this thing open all right, so in the box they sent me a couple of headpieces like a scarf, and this is a headband, a wig cap and then a storage bag. I'M a little concerned because i didn't know: i needed a wig cap for you for a week. How does that work see? This is why i should have did research before i agreed to this mess, but all right, we're gon na see. So, as far as details on the actual unit, it is 22 inches because you know i got to show out every time we go out. You know we got to show out in the summertime we got to cut up and we coming off our rest. So again, um 22 inches body weight, yadda yadda shout out they ain't gon na never work with me again, and this is the unit itself as far as security they do have clip-ins in here that you can clip it into your hair. Let me go ahead and plant this good old hair down a minute, my hair and then we're going to apply this. I um i got to be a little honest, i'm a little nervous. I never did this before, but we gon na see all right honey. I'M looking like a ragged muffin, but we're gon na get it together. So originally i was gon na break my hair down, but because my hair is really straight because i went to a stylist, i was able to just scoop it up into a ponytail and still get that flat look. But if your hair is thicker than mine, if you have longer hair than mine, your best option is to go ahead and break the thing on up. So i left this pour out this part out in this portion that will be sticking out in the wig, and i just cut out this little middle piece or whatever shell. I kind of like this little body thing going on: i'm gon na flat iron it, but i kind of like it like it is so i'm gon na take this clip and clip it in the middle. It'S not snug or anything, and then i'm going to put this on this side. Put this on this side and i feel pretty secure with that and i'm going to tighten it in the back just to make sure it's clipped in there really good. Don'T want to do the perimeter here. Let'S do that, just because you know we ain't trying to have the wind blowing and we out here embarrassing it's coming up. Okay, so, first of all, i'm hot, because i have to cut the air off to record this video. So we're probably going to go to voiceover, because i need that air on. So i'm going to go ahead and put this how i'm going to work, i'm wearing it in a deep side. Part! First of all, this right here ain't going to get it because clearly it needs to be blended together, so i'm going to go, get my flat iron and do what needs to be done because right now this is embarrassing. Actually i changed my mind. I think i wan na oh nasty middle part, honey i deserve. So let's do that. Go right down the middle um, your part qriket, hey, hey, hey and, ladies and gentlemen. I am now finished and i'm so glad because it is so hot in this room. So anyway, let me turn around. Let you see the wig. Yes all of that right there i feel like this is a really good look. I ain't gon na lie, i'm hot, so i'm trying to go ahead and wrap this up. So i would say if you want to change up your look look into it, you for a wig. If you want the wig experience, but you don't want you know the screen door situation, look into a ufo wig. If you just want to you, pour wig. Look. It'S what you want with, i love this hair. It did not stink and that's a big pet peeve of mine. I can't stand what's wigs, show up to my house and got a stench it curled beautifully it didn't melt or anything like that. Shedding was very minimal. Like i really had a good experience with this wig, i really really enjoy it. I'M not someone who puts heat on my hair often so this isn't something i would do on a regular basis, but like when i got my hair flatter this time and i go back in another eight weeks once that hair started getting a little oily or whatever. I could just slap this on there and extend my flat iron experience without having to go ahead and wash my hair overall. I have no regrets. I really do like this wig. I really didn't get any shed hairs at all, like you were getting like a couple snacks her there when i was like combing it out, but overall i didn't get any shed here. But let me put this sucker to the test. I'M gon na go co-wash it and we're gon na see what happens then, because you know you get a different story once you get the water on the thing. Oh, please all right, so the wig is wet and i'm just taking some as i am co-wash, and this is how i co-wash my wigs and just gently rub downwards, with my fingers um so far, no tangling or anything like that or that's catching my attention. So i just want you to kind of see how i go about my co-washing, because at the end of the day it's still a wig that's put together and if you yank on it, the hair gon na come out, and now i'm gon na go rinse. It out and we're gon na look at this thing together, see who has holding up, because that's gon na be the test on if this is a good quality wig. I love that as i am baby and we're back so i just rinsed out the wig. First, things first my hand is gliding through the hair effortlessly. So i do like that. It didn't matte up on me. It didn't get wiry. Now i will say in washing it. I got a little bit of a scent that i smelled. It was not bad because it was bad i'd, be like honey. Y'All take this wig back shove it, but they will probably never work with me again, but whatever the body weight is starting to come back. If you look like, if you do just like a little bit of a scrunch, it's starting to come back in the hair remains soft. I really didn't get any shed hair at all the little shade hair that i did get it came out so fast. It went down the drain, just to be honest, so it wasn't something that i could collect, because it was such a small amount. So, overall i do like this wig. This would definitely be something i go to like. I said when i do get my natural hair straightened and once it starts getting a little oily, if i want to extend it before i do a wash day.
