Trying A U-Part Wig For The First Time

To be or not to be real, not oh, you thought you. You thought this was my hair oops, i'm only gon na tell you guys, though, the people on instagram they don't have to know that to the people on instagram. I grew my hair overnight, but for you guys, i'mma let y'all in on a little secret. It'S a uart wig, not a lace front, not a closure, a u-bar! Let me show you: oh hi, welcome back to my channel guys so y'all already know i like to try new things on my channel. Sometimes so today i have a u-part wig from dola hair in this box. I got this. You part wig. I believe it's about. 20 inches long, it's not that thin, i'm gon na take it out just so you guys can see. This is the strap on the inside, and it's not that thick like it's pretty thin, i'm not mad about it, though cause y'all already know yeah this girl. No, my hair is not that thick now inside of the box, i'm just looking. They gave me two alligator clips pretty convenient y'all. These are the go if y'all are using the other flimsy one. Y'All need to boss up, because that ain't it anymore. This toothbrush thing for your edges and i got um two wig caps. Now i've never done a u-part wig, not on my channel, not in real life. So this is going to be pretty interesting today, you guys are going to be seeing how i apply it. Don'T judge me first things. First, i need to figure out how far back the u-part wig is going to go. You already know i got a landing strip for a forehead, so it's not going to be that hard. So right now i'm just going to take the wig and put it on just to see how much space i got. Ta part it out guys if i'm doing this wrong, don't judge me, but i've never done this before so, let's just see what i can do so. First uh, you thought you thought: let's try that again right here right, so i'm gon na be taking this part out for my leave out and ow girl yeah guys, i'm gon na quickly part my hair and i'll be right back. You guys already know. I don't know what the heck i'm doing, but i know it looks really crazy right now. I know a lot of people are going to be like oh darling, you're, not doing it right, you're, not doing it right, but guess what trial and error? I know a lot of people out there, don't know what they're doing either so i'm gon na take the wig as it is. I'M trying to show you guys that this is right out the box. Wearable. Okay, as you all can see, i'm not great with this ow ow girl, i feel like it should be like the parting space is probably too like much. I don't know. Is it? Is my head not big enough? First time guys, i'm gon na change the parting space a little take some of the hair out of it. Oh look at that. It will blend perfectly anyways. I'M gon na move some of my hair to the back, because i don't i want this to fit perfectly on my head. You know y'all. I saw some girls put like a wig cap on in the back, but i guess i'm not some girls anyway. So we're going to do this again, we're going to run this back again. I have now put my hair in one back. There shorten this. It must work. I'M gon na put this strap in the back. I can already feel that it's my hair ow ow girl. Oh, my god, i really don't even have that many follicles to lose. I'M gon na try and apply the cones. Now i guess all right. So one two. Hopefully i'm doing this right. I don't have any edges for this part to cling. To is this just not for me is this: just is that what you're telling me is this? What you're telling me dollar, hair, okay, okay, okay, there has to be a better way to do this. I guess i am some girls, and i know it's gon na work this time because jesus told me so so, let's go so boom the thing about it is that the sides - i don't know if this should be like here if this flat part right here, should Be on top of my ears because i mean everyone's head shape isn't the same, but if that's the case, then it should be like that. I can't i can't baby girl guys. I need to create more leave out, okay, guys, so i've officially fixed the parting space. That was my last time. I even stick my edges down just to prove it. It was the last time i kind of i kind of knew. The parting space was a little bit too small, but i was like a bystander watching this happen. I'M gon na go ahead and put it back on and see if it lines up like just the last time. All these combs are really um, creating so much tension and i'm really scared, but this is not something you sleep in and if you are, then i don't know what's wrong with you all right. This looks like it will fit a little bit better. I'M just lining everything up to fit perfectly and then i'm just going to now put it in my hair. So now i'm gon na actually clip the thing in the back, the straps that i had and um, let's see as i'm strapping it guys, the tension on the clips are like hurting even more, but it's all good guys. I'M not gon na lie to you. It'S a lot of space back here. It'S a lot of space back here like look at this. It'S a lot of room if you have a big head, you're gon na have a field day with this one i feel like. I didn't do this right because i shouldn't be seeing too much of my hair right, like i'm pretty sure i did not apply this right. Should i watch a video or something i i think i'm gon na watch a video, because this doesn't look right. Okay guys, so this is the best placement right now that i can get it at. The back part is very spacious like it makes me feel like i have a lot of head. Let'S see how my hair looks so guys. This is how it's looking um. I just did a middle part. My hair is like right here and then the extension is a tiny bit under my beams right now, a little bit um really. My next goal would just be straightening the hair um. I can't really lift right here, because it is right here. I do love the length of this, so what i'm going to do right now is kind of straighten it and maybe try putting some curls in it just to see how it looks with that um and if you do have a lot more edges or a lot More hair on your head, it will work out better for you right now. It'S a lot of tension on right here, because my hairline is much more thin than um regular people's foreheads. So i'm gon na get my um straightener and try to straighten this wig. This? U part wig and see how it straightens, let's see if it curls really nicely. Let'S see if it's a lit. Okay, all right so first thing i'm gon na do is try to target my hair and then blend it in with the u-part wig. I'M pretty sure it's gon na blend nicely, because my hair is not it's already straightened. Okay, let's see, i could just feel the heat image coming. Upar wigs are super convenient, i'm not even gon na lie, especially if you want to do like a quick look and you don't want to do a sew-in or you don't want to damage your hair. This is pretty convenient. Only thing that i'm noticing is that you need to find one that fits your head pretty well, um, i'm not sure if it's a size thing - or maybe i didn't apply it right, but it is pretty bulky like it has a lot of room so be aware Of that, when you're buying it, if it doesn't have an option for sizing, make sure you're picking something that actually matches your head size, if that makes sense quickly, i just want to show you guys. This is how it's look um. My hair is blending pretty okay with it, because, first of all, my hair is the color of this um. You part wig. So the? U part, wig is technically a natural color, so it is around like 1b and my hair is like a natural color. So it is going to blend properly um and yeah. So only thing is my hair texture. You know i have natural hair, so when i straighten it it it gets straight, but it's like a tiny bit cream has a little bit of texture in it. So, as you guys can see right now, that's my hair and then this is the hair. So it's like pretty silky, but then my hair is like it shows a little bit more texture. It'S not completely obvious to the point where you're like, oh my god, her hair doesn't look good, but i mean i can tell like. I can tell mike's my um clip and extensions are a tiny bit more blended in but um right now, i'm gon na go in and see how nicely this? U part: wig curls, okay, okay, it curls pretty good, like it curls, pretty good wow, so guys, i'm gon na go in and curl everything and i'll get right back to you baby get into it guys get into it get into it, get into it get into It get into it, get in get it get get get get get into it get into it, get into what you need to work, psychology stuff so guys. This is how the you part, wig looks now. I know i know i know i know is a wig. Yes, honey, yes, honey! I'M really liking the length of this wig. It'S really nice! Really! Nice all saw my struggle, this entire video. It was pretty hard for me to put this. You part wig in um, so a little bit of a run down. If you guys are wondering um, i really do love this hair. It'S pretty soft um! It'S really soft! I like that about this hair um. Of course, my hair texture does not match it completely. Like a hundred percent, maybe 90 because you all know um, i'm black, but i really do love this hair. I feel like it would go so great with someone who has maybe this texture um it does the color matches perfectly. That'S one thing. I really love about those natural hair colors, because we greet we, we imagine we are hair um, it does curl. I do like that about it. I, like the fact that it's pretty long, i do really love the fact that this is long and no dorad the explorer haircut over here um. Another thing that i do like about this is that it has a lot of security, so it has a band that they put in there. It also has the little hooks and it has two little um combs, and then it has the little clips. So it's extra secure the only thing that i don't like about this. U part wig is the fact that the size like it's just so much room um that i feel like it's just really too loose it's not as flat as that, like it's flat guys. It'S pretty flat right here, um, but back here in the back. It'S just so much space that i feel like if it was just a tiny bit smaller. If the cap size was a little bit smaller, we would be. We would be here. We would be good, but apart from that, i'm loving it. You
