Affordable Amazon Kinky Straight U-Part Wig Ft. U-Nice Hair

Today's video is all about hair. I tried out a kinky straight wig to switch it up a little bit. This hair is from Amazon and it was a little over $100!! Very affordable. I do have some cons about the hair, but watch video to the end to hear my thoughts.

All right, you guys so we're gon na go ahead and jump right into it. Here is the box that i got from your niece um or you nice. I think it's you, nice hair. I actually got this hair from amazon, which i've ordered um hair from this brand from amazon before um. It came in this plastic baggie right here. It also came with a scarf, which i needed one of these for like your edges, and then it came with um. I thought it came with two wig caps: okay, it came with one wig cap in this like light color, this light tan color, which is probably a little bit too tan for me, but anyway, and then it has the um care instructions for the hair. So that's what came in the box here is the wig, but not the bag. I have taken it out the bag before so it's not looking as pretty as it did when i first took it out, but anyway here's the hair. You can see it's a nice, very coarse texture, it's really cool. It'S like it's exactly like my hair. When i blow it out, no with no straining or anything it's just like this, but the hair is soft. The thing i'm worried about is um tangling under here, which is already doing a little bit, so i am worried about the tangling under here and i'm worried about frias, so um we'll see, but it comes with these little um tabs. So, of course you cut those off and then the combs on the inside are like this, and there are two comms on the side, one comb in the back - and it has this little lace back here. So i guess it's to look more natural. If you want to put it in a ponytail, i'm going to go ahead and cut these tabs later on. I may go in and replace the clips because i prefer a clip to actually clip into place. Let'S take my hair down, i already have my hair braided. My little alfalfa braid, but i already have my hair braided down very simple and you can see the amount of leave out. I have also so i'm going to go ahead and put this on. As you can see, it lays really flat. The cap is a little bit big on my head, so i'm not going to use the combs on this, but i will use the comb in the back just to secure it, but i'm not going to use it on the sides and of course you can always Pull your band to make it a little bit tighter, but i think we're good like this. This thing ain't going nowhere because of my anchors, so you can see the hair is very, very, very big. It'S very big for me. I don't usually do hair this big um, so yeah it's a little bit out of my comfort zone. I think once i put some heat on it, it'll be good. So i'm going to take my hair out of this braid just so, you can see how my hair blends in with this hair, and you can see that blends effortlessly. The blend is amazing. It looks like it could be my hair. Can you see that you see how well that blends like you, can barely tell where my hair ends and where this hair begins? I am going to use my one and a half inch one curling iron to kind of put some curls in here and kind of tame this hair a little bit. But first, let me give you a little bit of specs on the hair. The hair is in a 1b color, the texture is called yaki, and this hair is very thick. I'Ve said that before it's a lot of hair on this wig, so the density is great. This hair ran me 115, so really good price for a full u-part wig, and this hair does come in bundles as well as lace, fronts and lace frontals. I will leave the link to this hair down below. So if you want to check it out and the different options that they um offer so because i am putting a little heat on the hair, i am going to flat iron, my hair and i'm just going to do one pass on 380.. I blew my hair out with some blow um some blowout cream. I am going to use a heat protectant. The heat protectant i'm using is the tresemme platinum, use the heat protectant of your choice. Of course, i don't want it bone straight. I just want want it to have a little less texture than it already has, so you can see the difference on how i straightened it again. Don'T want it bone straight. I really just wanted to have a little less texture. The curling wand that i'm using is the infinity pro by conair. You can get it from pretty much anywhere and, like i said this is the one and a half inch. So i already have my hair split off into sections and i'm gon na try it without product first, just to see how it does, and i do have this on 400.. I think i may have to add a little bit of product to it. So i'm going to add at least some um heat protectant yeah. That was better. So that's the curl with heat protectant, pretty good curl, all right. Let'S try that one more time. Okay, so i'm actually going to switch from the wand curl to the flat iron um. The one curls - i don't know it's probably the texture of the hair, that's giving me the issue and not the wand, but i feel like the wand. Curls are not going to hold like i want them to so i'm putting my flat iron on 400 degrees, i'm using a she flat iron. I'Ve had it for a few years. All right, you guys so fun thing. It is a complete different day. Um, as you can see in the clip before this, the wig was very big and when i went to curl it it just wasn't doing it doing what i wanted it to do: um with the curling wand or the flat iron. So i decided to just wash the wig and start over from scratch. So that's what we're doing today. We are starting over from scratch. So here is the wig washed. I'M gon na bring it up a little bit closer, so you can see it's a little bit more tamed um and the hair just kind of has some crinkles in it. This hair seems like it was more coarse hair that maybe they processed so that it um had a little bit less curl in it is what it seems like so yeah. This is what the hair is. Looking like, i still have my middle part and my hair is all braided down. I think i showed that in the last clip and we're going to go ahead and put on the wig all right, so you can see. That is a lot different than when i wore the hair before so a lot more tame. What i'm looking for! Okay! So what i'm going to do with the hair? Is i'm just going to do a braid out? Of course, if you want to wear like this, you can you can definitely wear it like this. It has a little bit of texture to it as you can see, but i wanted to have a little bit more of a curl, just gon na fix my part and i'm gon na take a hard, bristle, brush and kind of just brush my hair into this Hair all right, so i think i'm gon na do between six and ten braids. The products that i'm using are the talia rajeed curling cream. I absolutely love this stuff. It'S so good! You guys i'm going to use some perm rods on the end, just to get it a little bit curly on the ends and then i'm going to use my meal edge control for my edges and that's it as always: i'm putting my wild growth oil on my Edges so right up under the wig, i'm just going to put my wild growth oil right at the top all along my edges, because we i mentioned this before if you're new here i am trying to grow my edges out after postpartum hair loss. So that's that on that all right, so i don't want my hair to get too wet because then it's just going to shrink up. So let's go ahead and make a little section here, i'm about i'm going to use about this much hair in my braid, i'm going to use about a quarter size amount as you can see there, and i'm just going to put this all through my hair and Through the shaft of the wig hair, i'm going to pull that really tight so that it stays stretched and i'm just going to do a braid and on the ends of this hair, i'm going to put a little bit of water. I'M going to take my rod and put that right on the end, just going to twist this around the end of this hair, you can absolutely use bigger rods if you want to, but that's what size i'm using all right and i'm going to do the same Thing all the way around my all right guys, so i have all of the braids in right. Now i'm going to go ahead and lay my edges down and i'm not going to do anything too fancy just going in and laying them into place and to finish it off. I'M going to put a little bit of mousse at the top of my hair or foam just so it can lay down and be really slick at the top. I'M going to tie my hair down with this sandy rag and i really just want to make sure i get that top laid down, so it can be very slick and in place i'm gon na. Let it sit and then when i come back i'll, let you know how long it's been you know working. It has been a total of about eight hours. I have worked a full day, i'm going to pick up my son and i'm back now, but i did want to show you how everything came out and the results of this style. So let's take the scarf off and you can see my hair is nicely molded down, i'm just going to grab some oil and i'm using the uh meal almond oil with mint in it. I'M just going to put a little bit of that in my hands. So i can kind of keep down the frizz. It'S going to take all of my rods out. I'M going to take these braids down very, very gently, all right, you guys. So this is the hair completely taken down and i'm going to tell you guys what happened between this side and this side. So i don't know if you guys remember, but i said i wasn't going to use any water on my hair and i did end up using water on this side and i didn't use water on this side. So that's what happened this these braids right here. I'M sorry you hear my son in the back. This is real mom life, you guys, if you use water, it looks like you know, a good old braid out, so i'm just gon na pull this behind my ears to kind of camouflage that part that didn't really take, and of course you can always you know, Put two braids in it: pull it back. You can always put it in a in a ponytail, but i think this works for now just to camouflage those pieces, but i do not sleep in my wig, so um. What i would do at night with this wig is i would i would just braid it up. I would wet it up while it's on my head, braid it and take it off, put it on my mannequin head and then with my leave out. I would either just tie it down if it's. If it's looking like you know, i still have good definition in my own hair. I would just tie it down really good and keep it tied down overnight, or i would braid it up with a little product. Just so i can get a little bit of definition and then blend my hair out in the morning. Overall, this wig has given me the business you guys. I have tried to curl it, one curling braid it out and it's been a fail each one. This was like half of a fail um, i don't know if i would purchase this wig again. I don't know i was going for that. You know natural hair, look that would blend into my hair, but, to be honest, i've had better results with just you know. Um curly, wigs or curly hair than i have with this so anyway, that's my review on the wig. I will leave a link down below if you are interested in it um the hair is really soft. It doesn't have a lot of shedding once you wash it. It'S beautiful, it's just trying to style it if you're not wearing it. As that blowout texture may be a little bit difficult. I am going to try flexi rods on on this wig, so i will come back and do another video with me doing. Flexi rods to see if that takes a little bit better, i hope you guys enjoyed this video and my very honest review if you like videos like this hit that subscribe button down below hit that like button, so i know um what kind of content you're interested In and i can continue to put that out for you guys share this video with your friends if you see so fit and as always, i will see you in the next one: stay beautiful, bye, guys,

Tearrany Jackson: What length?

Yulonda Brown: I received a different hair texture it is not yaki…..it’s a bit more silky and the wig is so thin I needed to add exterior to the wig. I hate when companies send a different product. Don’t waste your 115,00 because you will not get that wig she is wearing!
