Hello, there darling - or should i say, hey child and welcome back to my channel, so my boobs at curls curls hit me up and they got some new news. So y'all know there's this lace shortage that has going on around the world for a little mini last year they went to man weeks and had been weaked us down, but now there has been some more changes in the wig community to try to supplement the lack Of lace - and that is an upgraded u-part wig now, personally, i'm a fan of lazy, wigs, but some of y'all say it would be serving spring doors. So i understand - and if that is you that is who this week is for so with this upgraded u-part week, what they basically have done is made the closure section even smaller, so you can have the minimal amount of leave out and be serving scalp but wig At the same time, so thank you. Girls, girls for centimeters, get all the unit and yeah. Let'S see what it's talking about: roll, that beautiful bang, footage, hey, chow, all right! Let'S get this video started, so let me show you how the packaging comes. I already showed you the box from curls curls. They give you a pamphlet of instructions, because, if you're going to invest in a wig honey take care of it. So they give you some instructions and best practices as far as installation and care of the unit. Some additional clips, if you want to go ahead and customize it to fit your dome a little bit better and, of course, the style of the show which is the unit. So this is the kinky curly unit, because i wanted it a little bit more close to my natural hair. This is what it's looking like. You can't tell right now because it's in a shrunken state, but it comes down to 18 inches, because i, like my hair down to my butt and then here's the inside of the unit, so it comes with a particular strap to where it has different buckles. So you can make it looser or tighter, depending on the size of your head, i'm saying big head, so i need it pretty wide. There is no lace inside the unit, so it comes with the standard wig cap and then it has clips right here on and on the side. So you can clip it to your hair and then the key thing with this is a clip-in style install. So you just hook that in there snap it on down and clip it. So what i'm gon na do is go off camera and cut this piece of section open and then i'm gon na try to do something to my hair, i'm supposed to braid it down. But listen, i'm saying lazy right now. I don't feel like it. So you just get what you're gon na get so i'll, be right back and we are back y'all, i'm serving the grinch right now, but don't judge me judging mama. So what i did was left out some hair on the side, as well as what i'm going to leave out. As far as my leave out, what the back look like, don't you worry about it mind your business, so this is the unit, so i'm going to go ahead and just stick it on by opening up the clip in section and i'm going to bring it all. The way up and go ahead and clip that on now yours might work better if you do braggers but again pregnant and lazy, i don't care nothing about that. Okay, all right! All right! Last one clipped on i'm gon na blend this later, don't worry about that! Either so i'm gon na go ahead and tuck it in the back and then again it's combs all around the side and i'm gon na stick that in there just to make the wig stay now ain't no way in the world ain't no way in the world. So i'm gon na get a spray bottle and we're gon na start blending all right. So what i am currently doing, i am spraying the hair with water. If you want to go ahead and co-wash first, you go right ahead, but again pregnant and lazy. All right. So the instructions say to use a more water-based styler on the actual extension. So i have this particular jelly. I'Ve never actually used it on my real hair. I just bought it to support this company, so i'm going to just take some of it right here. Rub it together and rub it through the hair, and if you look at the pamphlet that they give you, they actually have a list of recommended styles and i feel like y'all. Don'T wan na make this wig y'all know what work best. So, let's go with that and i'm going to do that all throughout the hair, so i'm spraying it with water, taking some jelly and just putting it on the hair. All right! So now that the water and the jelly is applied to the wig and honey is actually serving quite soul, glow in this piece, i'm going to tint to my real hair. So i'm going to take some heavier gel that i know my hair likes and i'm going to put that on there. So let me rub that together and i have some out on my edges, so i'm just going to rake it through just so it can blend a little better and then that part, you really can't see, is the top that we got to maintain. So i'm going to actually do a little bit of raking and a little bit of shingling as well just to get it to blend. So just take some of the gel and wrap that through my hair and then in the front. I don't know about you, but my bangs grow and loosen like it's just like a totally different texture. So i do like to shingle that section just to make sure that it curls up really really nicely. And what i'm going to do is this piece of hair right here right, i'm going to grab a small piece of the wig and i'm going to shingle it together. So it blend a little bit. You see what i'm serving up here so again we're taking a small piece from the top we're going to take some of the unit as well. So we got two right put it together, shingle it together to make sure the curl patterns blend and that's what i'm going to do throughout this. I'M just going to shingle this top piece into the wig. So then i'm going to do the same thing all around! Take a little gel rub that onto my hair and then i'm going to shingle the wig and my strand together and one more again just to go ahead and give you that demo, i'm going to take some of my cheers. Gelato put it on my real hair and break that through smooth and right, smooth and right, smooth and right, and then i am going to shingle it into the wigs. So i'm going to for this first piece, i'm going to just go ahead and shingle that take a piece of hair as well as wig, come on wig and twirl it together, and that's why it's good to have this upgraded. You part wig because you have way less leave out than with the other one. So you ain't got ta, do as much twirling and put a little bit of gel on the roots, just to make sure they don't get too puffy and voila that's about it. So what i'm going to do is get under my hoodie dryer. Let that thing dry and i'm going to come back and show it to you once it's dry and my install is complete. My wig is about 97 dry, it's a little damp on the ends, but i need to worry about that, like whatever child, but overall, this is what the hair is. Looking like, what i will do to perfect the install a little bit more for me is. I want to go in and layer it whenever i'm doing a wig demo, i kind of like to show you exactly what you would get if you purchase it. So i don't like to do any like too much customizing and all that stuff. Just because i want you to get a realistic expectation, but for me i feel like if i was to add just some layers right here. That would set this off good and i love the fact that it's giving scalp ain't no screen, though you understand me. So let me turn around so yeah. That'S the unit as far as refreshing goes. If i feel like i need to, i would just spritz it with water and go back to the exact same style that i used in the first place. I wouldn't recommend interchanging stylers and if my real hair started cutting a full, i would just spritz it with water and shingle it again. And if i need a little bit more gel, i will add just a little more but not too much because you don't want to get flaking now. What i will say is i'm going to do a separate video about this product because it actually did really good on the wig and it had a crunch to it. I wasn't expecting it, but we'll talk about that in another situation. Now, as far as the quality of this unit goes, it was superb. What i did not show y'all is once i was spritzing with water. Keep in mind. I said i'm lazy. It was taking too long to get what it was supposed to get. So i went off camera snatched this thing off and i co-washed it in my bathtub. This is the amount of shed hair that i got, which is actually really good for a curly unit. So you know we like that, and the thing that i like about curls curls is the quality is great, and can we talk like friends, real, quick, okay, number one sometime wigs show up in this thing, this don't number two, sometimes companies that are not as reputable They'Ll send an influence on one thing and then the paying clients something else and then y'all end up coming back to the influence and was like uh honey. What did you just have me spend my money on the thing i like about curls girls is not one person has come back to me and complained about it, because curls curls is that gale when it comes to hair like seriously the hair is a really good Quality, so i stand by them for that reason, but anyway, overall, i absolutely love this unit. Quality amazing curl pattern. Amazing, it really does feel good. So if you're looking for something to give you a little bit of more of a protective style, you don't really want to battle with the lace and all that you want something a little bit more simple.
