Hey YouTube: I'm followed back with another video. Today, that's going to be on how I secure my you parts of my head without having to use cornrows, because if you're anything like me, I don't want to do that. Every week, like I watched my hair every week and just taking them down coming back up every week is just like no so yeah. If you want to see how I do it, then just keep watching alright. So, in my personal opinion I feel like you should start off with blow dry, hair or flat iron hair or stretched hair, whatever kind of hair you want just not like, I don't know, curly hair because it'll be more bulky so yeah, I blow-dry my hair and I use this Chi iron guard as, like my heat protector, um yeah, so next up you're going to part off the section that you want as you leave out, so I don't really want that much Lido. This looks like a good amount here I think, goes alright. So then you're just going to like set this to the side. Oh god, I do not get any freakin bobby pins, okay, so here's the section that I'm going to leave as I leave out just going to roll this up into like a bantu knot. Looking theme and then I'm just going to bobby, pin this I kind of leave my side not too, so I'm going to take a little bit of my sides. Okay. So now I look like crazy eyes from freaking orange is the new black okay, just that is so right um. So you should be loving something kind of like this. You know, then we'll leave out the top I'm gon na leave on the side all right. So I can't do it it appraised, like I really suck at that, so instead of doing that like to make my anchor I'm going to like make a little part like right here, underneath where my leave out starts. So my leave out is right. Here start right here, I'm just going to make a little section like this and part it off, maybe like an inch of hair and I'm just going to take the rest of my hair and like put it to the side, so it doesn't even play alright. So you just want to take this part, your hair ain't going to break it up, you're, just going to secure the bottom of it with like a rubber band, I'm using one that I got from like the dollar store since the clear ones you can use any Color, the black ones, the clear ones, the pink ones, whatever no one's gon na see it so just get these in here and then I've never had any problem with my hair breaking from using me. So yeah put that bottom and you don't have to braid it all the way down to the bottom, because no one's going to see it anyways so yeah there you go and it has something that looks like that, and this is like where your clip is going To ghost so like try to UM braid it as close to the root as you possibly can, so they just don't do the same thing on the other side, part off this section I like that, and then I just want to flip it to the other side. So I don't get the plague and then just try to braid it as close to the root as you possibly can. Like I mean like it's tightly, you know I mean okay, so that's enough right. There gon na grab me up a number bin. Maybe I should put these off before celebrating I'm right at this Mario alright. So if you want to do one in the back, you can, I don't usually do it, but I think I'll. Do it right, I'm gon na take the three braids and pin them up like with this like that, so then you got the rest of your hair. All you have to do is brush this out. I like to put a little argan oil in my hair. Well then, you're gon na take this and braid it up like you, don't have to program, it just break it if your hair is shorter than nine or thinner. This will be like way easier to conceal, but I mean, even with my hair thing, this length, it doesn't like. You can't tell there's like no bumps in the back or anything like that, at least not that I know of and take another handy dandy, little rubber band and put it at the end of your big braid. Awesome. Look like this is back. I don't want to come to the side, but this one here: okay, so then you're going to take it and line it, push it around like this and then like that to make it flat you're going to take bobby pins and secure it in place, if you're Sure you probably don't have to do this. You can just put it like in a little bun okay. So then you got this alright, so now that you got this set up nicely, it's time to put on your? U part um! First, you want to take down these braids like this and then kind of secure those to the back of the bobby pin, okay, so you're going to take the first clip. Okay, so you're going to take the first clip which is in the back, make sure it's opened up, make sure all your clips are open and then you go to secure it onto that. First braid in the back like at the root, then you're just going to clip it on you're, going to do the same thing to the ones on the side, anything to take the bottom and pull it down. And then you have clips on the side and you just want to clip those into so then they're young, oh my god. If one of your braids decides to not stay, then all you have to do is just stuff it back in there and nobody will know it's there, so yeah. This is my little setup right here. Let me see in the back where you can really tell so. I won't hear anything all right so now that you've got your hair on. All you have to do is flat iron, your hair to blend in all the tracks. I mean to cover all the tracks and then you're good, so yeah, thanks for watching guys, see you next year. You

Jennifer Gibbs: I have long thick hair and it annoys the life out of me when people tell me I don't need a weave. I know that!!!! I love the low maintenance of weaves plus I work out and my hair frizzes out immediately .... My hair is growing and avoiding excessive heat damage. Anyhow. Good job lol.

YouMeWeUsHere: It's crazy how all the "professional" videos I've watched on how to secure my u-wigs, yet yours was the only one that actually helped a ton. Thank you for this video! And your personality made it more fun to watch. Keep doin' your thing, babe <3

Jada Williams: Awesome... never gonna worry again about doing my hair myself

pink.: Omg thank you so much for this video I’m absolutely useless at braiding

Tianna Lashay: Hey Brit, i have a few questions :) 1.) Did you sew the clips on to the cap after you sewed the hair on or before? && 2.) Do you think 3 clips gibes enough hold, or should you do more than 3?

Angel Babee: Ok my first thought was 'why would you wear a wig with so much natural hair?' But then I thought about why I wear wigs myself. Such a time saver and a lot less trauma to my natural hair with curling irons, dyes, etc. Great job, beautifully done. Next time, remember to pull your rubber bands out of the package first. LOL!

SK E: I have 3 B hair type and relax my hair once to twice a year. I live in Europe and there are no hair salons to get my hair relaxed. So I buy the home relaxer kits from Amazon. I just recently bought my first wig. A UPart Wig also from Amazon. The crazy thing is it looks identical to my own hair. I also do not have the time or talent to corn row my hair before putting on the U Part Wig.

Sandra Ada: thought your hair was a wig lol and you were just gonna curl it. very pretty

Kaleidokat: Also curious to know, once you order your extensions,  do you manage to create your own wig?

Tanya Cole: You're lucky to have beautiful natural hair and amazing skills with the wig. Did you make the wig yourself? You're a beautiful lady!

Anika: I have a question about leaving hair out on the side. Are some U part wigs designed for that or are they all designed to come to the hair line? If they are designed to come to the hair line at the sides but are placed back instead, I would think that would make the wig look pushed out in the back. I would appreciate any advice on this.

Aaliyah Anderson: Omg thank you cause my clips just be slipping out so now I know to just braid then clip it on to that

Cadejah Person: Thank you so much for this video! I can cornrow to save my life! Lmfao.

Genesis Paternina: Oh okay yeah that makes sense! Dude you totally are making me consider it !! Lol cause it's funny but I did try like these clip ins once that were literally called one piece extensions, with like 4 clips but it had like two bundles sown on. It was good but then I started getting like scalp aches lol right where the clips would be ! Uqhh decisions decisions

Ashley Coleman: Omg I think iam going to start doing this, how did you make the wig with the clips?

Chazzi Wazzi: With the amount of leave out you have were you able to do a side and middle part?

IcedLipGloss: are you natural?? and its amazing that the u part doesnt look puffy and big. my hair is shorter than yours but when i use this method my head just looks so biggg

Summer Spears: Did this ever cause damage to your hair? I bought one a while ago but have been so hesitant to where her!!!!

Skyla Shanell: I'm glad I watched all the way through. Half way I was like "idk what she's doin?" But I think it turned out really nice. Might've convinced me to do a u part.

Alaysia Batie: Is it better to make a u part wig with wig clips vs braiding your hair and sewing it down?

Genesis Paternina: Wow that's a u part wig?? That looks awesome! I have a question for example I've always used clip ins but it's such a hassle sometimes, does this way your head? Is it heavy, cause I'm starting to get like scalp aches! Lol need some advice !

e e: well done. thank you

Official KARENICOLE: how do you make your Upart? do you sew it or glue it?

Adrianna Furbush: My hair used to be long idk what happened over the years but, I have been trying to get it to grow for the longest and it is starting to wear on my self esteem :( what can i do with my hair to keep from touching it and finally get it to grow? I also dyed my hair and my hair is short in the back and i have a short patch in the front on the side of my head :/ i dont know what else to do????? can you help me out here!? im all up for suggestiongs

Adeana Faith: That was dope!

Zana Lindsey: Love your natural hair

stacy lynn: You have nice hair, and it seems like it would be difficult to put in a wig like my hair does. I always have a mini bulk under my wig.

The Truth: Very nice, smart and beautiful.

Cute Life on a Budget: Ur natural hair is gorgeous.

Caramel_ blend: Damn doing all that , I'd rather just braid my hair every week ugh !!!!!

Ki'Ana Riggins: Do you ever sell u part wigs?

Elessa Arnold: Good trick, thanks

B Jones: You're so gorgeous and chill but I sorta hate you for putting on wigs when your natural hair is the length I wig out for.. lol! Thanks though! This vid was major helpful! :D

Shonta Jae: Did you put the clips on the wig?

Yinksy93: wow such a creative idea love your video!

hodan mohamoud: This is fucking genius girl

Mersy Arzu: Very nice and easy for a person who can't stand to do hair like myself. But you have long beautiful thick hair.

peepla7: I find it ironic that you are wearing a wig at all. Your hair is thick, gorgeous,... And much longer than the wigs most folks are buying to have the look of length. That being said...its a great vid. If this is how you're getting this much length....I'm gonna invest in a wig. Haha my hair is shoulder length but it snags on my clothes....rather the wig take the abuse than my hair.

crunkqueen45: what type of hair did you buy from aliexpress?

IAN AZIZ: Hi i want to buy a u part wig and i saw on some websites that the wig has frontal straps on the top of the wig ?!! What should i do with it should i cut them off or what?

Mel: I have combs on my upart instead of the clips would this work for that ?

Tracey Robertson: Your own hair is the BOMB. U really dont need a wig

AbsoluteMdot: ur real hair is gorgeous!!!! Hair Goals!!!!
