How To Install A U Part 3/4 Wig (Milky Way Saga Remy Hair)

This is just a video of me installing my U part wig. The items I used are listed below:

Milky Way Saga Remy Hair 18", 14" and 8" (I perfer to get a 14", 12" and 8" next time) I ended up cutting the 18" into a 14" to make the layers fall better.

Dome Cap (bought it from sally's)

Wig Clips (Regular Beauty Supply Store)

Bobby Pin (Regular beauty suppy store)

Hey YouTube is black Barbie and today I'm gon na be doing a tutorial on how I install my 3/4 u-part wig. This is the finished. Look. I didn't curl it or need anything. These girls are like 2 days old. I just put it on just to show you guys what it looks like now. This is what the actual wig looks like and eventually I'll do a video on how to make the? U part wig in the meantime, if you want this look then stay tuned. These are the clips that I just saw it on their because I don't want to so that the wig onto my head I'd rather clip it on and take it off whenever I feel like it. So normally. What I do is, I start from the very front with the very first clip and make sure you pull the back down so that it doesn't be in the middle of your head. But what I do is I clip that first clip on then I clip the second one on and then I go to the other side and I clip the first one on and then a second. So this thing is on my head and normally I take bobby pins and I pin the back down. It'S really secure. I can keep this thing on all week if I wanted to so I just leave a little bit of my hair out and what I do is I make I'll leave a little bit of hair just to cover the track and also what I do is I Made a clip on track that I use, because I, like my tracks to be as close as possible, so I just clip that on and I do that to the other side as well. Okay, now that that's clipped on I'm just gon na comb, my hair down in the center and all around and I'm 2 months with no relaxer, so the new growth is definitely coming in, and all you want to do now is just fluff it up. Do whatever you want to do to it, but this is what it looks like, and I will definitely be making a few more of these. I just got to get the right type of hair right now. This hair, that I'm using is the Milky Way saga, hair, I'll post all the details in a description box. So thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe,

EccentricO: Love it!! Looks so natural

CAROLW212: Great idea with adding the extra pieces! Love it!

krysroc: I never thought about making individual hair pieces. You are a genious!!! It's beautiful!! Thanks!!!

Shawnice Salisbury: the invisible part method is really good too so u wont have to add in extra clips to front! love ur wig hun

IMaHARDhabit2break: Love it!! cant wait to see the how to video

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Thanks Ladies!!!! I love the wig clips on it because I can take it on and off whenever I please. I like to wash my hair weekly to keep it clean and a sew in prevents me from being able to do that. I probably will do the blonde highlights on my next one. @ Dimplezcutec you don't have to braid your hair to clip it on, however, I have to braid mines because my hair don't fit in a pony tail so it just gets in the way. If u can fit your hair in a pony tail you can just do that.

GroovyTB: The clipping in hair in the front was genius u have helped me sssssoooooo MUCH! ^_^

Toya Elaster: your work is awesome love the clips you use and love your u part video

Phatbaby1011: i love this thanks...i cant believe i never thought to sew in wig clips lol

Hair Journey to Waist Length: I agree with the glue damaging hair period. I never used glue because I always seen the people around me have bad experiences with it. I really got away from sew-ins too because it was thinning my hair out real bad from the thread stripping my hair. Now that I am growing it back out it's coming in so healthy and full.

OSoGorgeouso: I Love This! Very Nice and Neat.

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @1AshleyBarnes Yes I braided my hair all over. It made it alot easier to have it braided and clip it on the braids because sometimes if you have a fresh relaxer or bone straight hair the clips tend to slid right through the hair like a comb effect.

KESSI AGBO: OMG i am in love with this hair, you look amazing

Krystal J: you did a beautiful job; i like it

Kellie Corinne: Looks good. Thinking about putting wig clips on my u parts myself.

Simone Alexis: looks great!

MsDymond871: where can i buy those clip in for my u-part wigs?

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @MsDymond871 You can get them from any beauty supply store. Just ask them for the wig clips.

Home Girl Sells: love your videos!-msjaelo

Oooh Lala: how do you wash the wig and with what products do you recommend.

bloo kandi: Can you wear a 3/4 wig as a side part also?

ADORE7373: But on the small fill in pieces how did u secure it. I'm sure the weft wasnt that thick to do on its own.

ADORE7373: ogosh I had this same idea with clipping in pieces in front. I just started the weave thingy and my ocd is going to town with picking at this yuck tar like glue. Not to mention it's making my hair stink.I was a little hesitant cuz I thought it would look weird. cay you show a close up pic or vid on how u fit the clips on those small pieces...ty ty ty

Tammy : Its beautiful. Are you natural? I am wondering if you can achieve this with curly hair.

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @ShoeFashionATL Thanks hun!!!!

GockClobber: Do you think a wig like the one you just used feel as safe as a weave sew in?

msdoza: work out...:) very quick and fast......

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @kesiena80 Thanks. I made this one too thin so I don't even wear it that much anymore

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Thanks hun

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Thanks hun

46FOXFIRE: great idea for the clip on extra track

MakeupShae: Do u have to braid ur hair before clipping it on ur head

Ashley Barnes: was your hair under the wig braided and on the sides where you clipped the wig clips on?

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Aww thanks luv

ADORE7373: lmao nevermind. I foound answer in your how to install and make clip ons for extensions:).It gave it exactly what I was asking and in very much detail ty love for entertaining my confusion l

Kinkycurlycoil: cute!!

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @OSoGorgeouso Thanks!!!!

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @ADORE7373 Thanks Luv. I'm confused, what small pieces are you talking about?

Simply Lilli Tarot: I don't know how to braid are the braids necessary to install the wig?

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @lburroughs19 I usually wash it when I have it off. I will do a tutorial video on how I wash it in the mean time I use the Argan oil one n only shampoo and conditioner to wash it. I usually wash it every 2 weeks being I wear it every day now.

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Thanks luv

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @ADORE7373 O lol. Hey check out the video on "How to make a U part wig" I posted up and it shows me sewing the clips on towards the end. If that don't help I'll make a video just for you :)

ADORE7373: lol the clip on track you added to front. I see the come is little but is it little enough to sew on to weft?

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @ADORE7373 O lol ok. I was just about to tell you to go check that one out as well.

ADORE7373: I watch the vid you mentioned. Looks like too much work for me.But if you look at this video at 1:46/ 2:05 you clipped on little pieces on to your leave out hair in front. You stated " I made a clip on track cuz I like my tracks to be a close as possible. In the vid you sent me to you sewed clip on the cap.

vje65: AND THEN WHEN YOU DID THE HAIR FLIP GIRL YOU BETTA WORRRRRRKKKKK

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @st6TRe53A Awww thanks luv

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Only if you plan on sewing it on. But sometime I get lazy and I don't braid it at all. That's the benefit you get from adding clips to the wigs.

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @ichik333 Thanks luv

Hair Journey to Waist Length: First thing is how many clips did you put on the wig? That play a big part because the less clips the more you have to rely on the clips you put on there to hold up. I suggest you add more clips if there is room. Also did you buy the same exact clips I have in the video? Mines usually get sore when I pull it in a tight pony tail.

Lil This N That: What kind of recorder do u use

Hair Journey to Waist Length: @lvjwardlaw thanks

Hair Journey to Waist Length: Oh I didn't buy those from Sally's but there are different types of clips. The smaller ones hurt because it pulls less hair. The bigger clips grip the hair better which prevent it from pulling a small section.

vje65: BOOOOMB

kareemtiheed: i would like it on you in blonde.....

Love Layefa: type in Layefa Lover of Arts
