Easy Upart Wig Tutorial (Yolissa Hair)

Hey booze welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be doing a full review of this upart wig. I got from yolissa here. This is the box that the wig came in and, as you can see, the box was definitely beat up, but it did have like a plastic shipping label around it. So no big deal. There was a wig cap, an extra elastic band. They gave this little pretty set and bonnet and then a little satin bag and then some care instructions, and this is the hair. It came in a plastic bag, it is 20 inches in the body wave texture. So it was a one by three inch parting in the middle, so basically to leave out less leave out and it does have six wig clips inside of the wig there's three around the opening and then three around the perimeter. And then it also had an adjustable strap, and this is the hair it's in a natural like brown color, i would say it's probably like a two leaning towards a four, but it's pretty it wasn't shedding. When i was running my fingers through it, it had really good movement and the luster was very pretty, and the hair was extremely soft, it's so so so so soft. So i am going to wash the hair, and this is what it looked like wet now when i wet the hair, i was kind of like scared like hold on it's a little thin, but it gets better. So if you remember this is my little headband wig that i got from ali pearl. If you want to see the full review of this wig i'll be sure to link that down below, but my hair was looking a mess, so i threw on my hairband wig. As you can see, your hair can look like anything under a headband wig, so anyways. As far as my braid pattern, i left like a little bit of my edges out and just about three fingers width of my hair out for the top of that's going to go over top of like the opening, and i have like some little ankle anchor braids And then i just braided my hair down, and so in terms of the install of this, it's super simple. I literally just laid this on top of my braids and then i started clipping them in place and making sure that they were comfortable. I did have to adjust them a little bit because, to be honest, i wish there was a way for me to um have a smaller like wig cap, because this wig cap is big like you can see it's coming down over my ears, and you know you Just make it do what it do, but anyways. That is my only drawback. I wish there was a way that you can select like a smaller size for the wig cap. So i say all this to say this is big head friendly boo but anyways i'm just going through and i'm straightening out my hair. I straightened out my edges first and now i'm just about to press my hair out on the top. So that way it can blend and then, after that, i'm going to curl it so i'll just go ahead and stop talking and you know let the music play while i flat iron, my hair, you here in this room, what did you do i so now that I flat iron, my hair. This is what the hair looks like and it looks pretty full. So i was like okay. This looks very natural because, like i said i was scared when i first washed it and the 20 inches is pretty long on me. I'M only 5'2 and as you can see, it was coming all the way down to like my hips but yeah. I think the hair is very, very pretty so now i'm just going to cut like some low layers in it, just to kind of give it a little bit more body when i curl it um - and i didn't do this throughout the whole head. I just kind of did this like closer towards my face, but i probably will go back through and cut some more layers later. I just you know was trying to hurry up. It was getting late and i wanted to get my video done. You know but anyways um, so i just cut some layers in and i made sure to separate my hair out. So that way i would be cutting my own hair and then now i'm just going to curl this hair with my flat iron and yeah. I am definitely filling this upart wig. This is actually my first u-part wig. I'Ve never used uh. I'Ve never installed a u-part wig before, but i always wanted to, but i just would you know, be a saltwand type of girl and now that i've done this, i'm like who, first of all i'm super tender headed. I don't like get my hair braided tight. So this is the alternative for me. I feel like i'll, definitely be wearing more u-part, wigs, so yeah boo, i'm so so nothing so-so to work on you. You always make me feel like okay. You got me feeling some type of way. Thinking about you now that i'm done curling my hair, now, i'm just going to brush through it with the paddle brush, just to kind of give it more volume and just more of a like soft wavy look, and i will say the color is brown and my Hair is more like 1b, so this would be something that i would definitely want to color the hair just to make it darker, and i think it would blend a little bit better with my hair right now. It'S not that bad, like you, can't tell it until like you're super super close on it, but i would definitely color it but yeah. This is the hair, it's so pretty y'all, so pretty and so easy to what did install do. I just yo i'll, never get a sew in again in life. If i can get a u-part wig that looked like this, you know what i'm saying like. Never, i am super tender-headed, so anybody else braiding, my hair is a note for me. I would braid my own hair, so i don't care what kind of braids it is. I would rather braid my own hair. So that way my hair is not too tight, because, with my hair, when i used to be getting sew-ins, i love my stylists. Who will do my sew-ins but baby? I am so tenderheaded. I didn't even want nobody to talk to me for the first three days after my sew-in. This is a perfect alternative. I was kind of thinking like. Oh, this hair look a little thin, but after you know i curled it and brushed through it. It was actually full enough. So i would say this is probably like a natural density um, it's not too thick and it's not thin at all, especially because it's this body weight, texture and the thing about body wave is like. Whenever, whenever you put curls in body wave, it always makes it look more full, so yeah. This is perfect, like this is the density that i would get like my sew in just to kind of make it a little bit more natural. The hair is bomb. It'S really soft and it curled really well. The luster is so pretty, and it's holding the curl. I probably would go back and cut like more layers in it just so that way, the curls look even more full when you put layers in your curls. It definitely looks a little bit more lush. I am loving this. You part wig. This is my first ever u-part wig and it was super easy to install and it looks very natural and it's flat. I don't know if y'all be able to see how flat it is, but it's super flat yeah, i'm definitely digging this. You part wig. I got the 1x3 opening for the u-part wig because i wanted to leave minimal amount of my hair out as i could. So. I mean i probably could have even left less hair out than what i did, but i mean this is fine to me. It'S not a whole lot of hair out. It was like three widths, three fingers width of hair, so it's not a whole bunch and as far as like how i'll maintain it i'll, probably just flip my hair over top of my braids and make it flat - or maybe i might even put like a soft One of those jumbo soft rollers in my hair on my natural hair at the top and then just put my bonnet on both but anyways. I can't keep my hands out of this hair. It'S so bomb! It'S super super soft. You know i was trying to get away from all the headband wigs, because i know that's like the trend right now and it's easy and it's convenient, but people be one other types of wigs as well. So that's why i ordered this upart wig and i just felt like you know, if i want to wear my hair straight without flat ironing my own hair, then here's another option. You know what i'm saying my hair is braided up underneath and i'll be able to probably wear this for a good month without having to you know, re-braid, my hair. So what i'll do in the meantime is i'll. Just continue to treat my scalp and you know just keep it a little moisturized put like you know some oils in my scalp and take this on and off at night time and call it a day. You know, and you probably could sleep in it. If you wanted to, but personally i've been in that big mood where i just want to take my hair off like i want to take the wig off, and i just want to go to sleep so and if you like, my makeup i'll, be uploading.
