A Substitute To Sew-Ins.. T-Kinky Part Wigs Ft. Wiggins Hair

Hi everyone. It'S me ivani, i'm back with another video for you guys. Yes, you guys, so this is my first time trying a teapot wig and i think it looked pretty good, so i'm gon na show you guys how i did it. So i'm taking my hair and i'm like braiding it up. So this is not the most efficient way to do it. There is better ways to do it, but i took my hair out because i was wearing it in like a two puff type of stuff. That day, but i do recommend you guys cornrowing your hair, like special cornrowing, but i knew that, like i wanted to do two big braids at the back and then um do a specific kind of pattern. So i could clip the other, the clip-ins and basically so right now i am just braiding up the back of my hair in two big braids um. I would do if i could go back in time. I would do four because it will like be flatter to your head, so i would definitely do four like the flatter the better, but it worked fine. So then i'm gon na be blow drying the front of my head because i had. I realized that my scalp was dry and i needed to wash my hair and because i am going to be straightening it and you don't want to straighten your hair with any products so that end up having heat damage, i prefer not to say, but basically i Am just blow drying my hair at this point i haven't blow dried my hair in months so, and i hadn't straightened my hair in like two years, so it was definitely new, but i'm blow-drying and blow-drying i'm using a denim brush and um yeah. So after i blow dry my hair, i'm gon na section it out and show you guys, which parts i straighten and everything so yeah so right now, i have both sides blow dry, we're looking pretty good. So now we're gon na start parting, the hair, so we're gon na do a straight middle part that took me forever to do. I like cut out a lot of it, but getting that apart was ridiculous, like notice how there's light in the room by the end of this it's like dark, because i wanted this to be so perfect, so yeah so right now, i'm just parting out the middle Part and then i'm gon na be parting out two uh pieces on the side of the middle part, so it could be the pieces that go over the wig um, the tea part wig, so it could blend. So now i'm putting out my edges. Okay, so hey! I did this side, i'm gon na do this side on camera. So what i did was i parted this section out. I straightened it. I did this going back because i saw somebody saying that when you clip it it like works a lot better. When you have a little something to clip it, i straightened out my edges. It looks so thin guys, please i've been taking care of my hair so good. This is just how i naturally look. I promise, then i do these sprays on the side. So that's the vibe right now i haven't seen my hair straightened in about two years. This is so weird yeah. This is so weird you're, seeing it coming out of my scalp. This is so weird, okay, so i'm gon na do it on this other side. So basically, i am parting the apartment apart on the side of it and then i'm gon na be cornrowing it back, because i want it to be a clip like hanger place so that when i clip it, it won't be on. Like my roots, it could be just on that little cornrow, so some quick fun facts about this wig um. It is 22 inches, it is a u-part wig and it's 180 density and i feel like if you could go down in density. You should definitely do that because if it's kinky and like already has texture, it's already gon na - be a lot thicker than regular straight hair but yeah i actually did enjoy this wig a lot so right now, i'm just gon na part, my hair, so i'm gon Na braid two braids down - and i do it on the other side too after braiding - that one cornrow back. So that's the best way to do this. Honestly, it lays flat - and you could use the clip ins to clip it in at the top cornrow and at the first side, cornrow, and you guys are going to see later how like that kind of works out perfectly bye, then i'm going to straighten my edges. Um yeah, i'm going to show you my edges in a shade at the top i used a small straightener that i got from florida. I think it's um. What does it say? Red red? I don't know what it's showing from. If you guys could read it red kiss, no, it can't be kiss. I don't know whatever they said on the thing, but i got it in florida. Like four years ago i was like 14., i'm literally turning 18., so yeah, so i'm straightening it ugh yeah. I kind of messed up my hair. Please do one pass. That'S all you need just need one pass, so yeah, oh bye, bye. Then i am taking that right. There yeah i'm taking that i'm cutting the pieces at the top, because there are some weird pieces that you just need to cut. Then i am taking the hair out of my face, so i can put it on and adjust it and make sure it's perfect and that i look good um. My hair looks dumb long like my hair looks loud. Okay, so i'm just adjusting it lining it up to the back um. Don'T worry, we'll fix that little line thing that's going to show anyway, so i'm lining it up. Then i am taking the clip and i'm adjusting it and then like snapping it into place later. So you see me adjusting it on that side. Don'T worry, we took a good amount of edges out. Y'All. Don'T need any more edges to be taken out from this, like i promise y'all, it doesn't look like it will blend, but it does blend magically. For some reason, um yeah, so i'm taking the clip putting it back and i'm doing gon na do that for the top section and you just want to adjust it until it's more comfortable. So i know it doesn't. Look like much. Edges is being taken out, but actually it's the perfect amount. I promise um, you don't need to risk your hair for more heat damage than this. I promise you um yeah. I feel like this is like like a remix of a sew-in, you know at home. Remix sewing, you know, so i'm like i wanted to layer it. So it could look more natural and that's what i did. You know i was layering each side. I got this little thing that i bought from the beauty supply store that helps layer. It um yeah and then i do the ends. I it didn't come with a blunt cut, but i really did not want anything close to a blunt cut and i wanted to look really really really natural, so um. This is kind of long. I'M not gon na lie to you, the hair. I think if i wanted to get it next time, i would get it a little bit shorter, like it's in 22 inches. I would definitely get in like 18 or 16 inches or something so yeah, i'm shading it because, like it was still like too textured. So i needed to be a straight like a little more straight, because my hair was straight um yeah. So i'm just straightening that out um. I was so focused by that point, because i was just supposed to test it out that day and not fully film this video um, because i like to test out the wigs before you know i get into the video. But i ended up just doing the whole thing because i was just like honestly like i want to get this done today, because why not so again, i'm coming down and stuff like that, and then i am literally gon na take out my hair. My hair looks so healthy, big purr, so my hair looks a little bit more black than the actual hair. I think my hair is like low-key a little darker. I think it's my hair is like not jet black. My hair might be jet black honestly um. I haven't boxed it in a couple months, but there probably is some still block um black hair deposits in there so yeah it looks pretty damn good yeah. It looks pretty damn good. If i do this for myself, i know people thought this was my hair. I never thought this was my her because it looks like my her. You know what i'm saying so i was just suggesting it and stuff like that. Um, the adjustment is the best part watching your hair blend into this is like the best part girl. You would thought i got ta sew in big purr. My fly was down - let's just let's just ignore that, but yeah i put some layers into it later. On. Look at that. You see the layers, it's so cute.
