Hello, boys and beauties welcome back to my channel for those of you who do not know me. My name is marquila terrence and for those of you who do know me welcome back so today i'll be showing you guys how i achieved this super cute blunt cup. Bob with a bang, this is a sew-in and yes, i did use a closure, but i will dive into the details a little bit more, but make sure you guys, like comment, share and subscribe and be sure to turn on your post notification bell that way, you Can be notified when i drop my videos, okay, so without further ado, let's jump right into the video. So the first thing you guys want to do is you want to start off with fresh hair? My hair is washed and it is conditioned per usual. I mean if you want to do dirty hair, that's all up to you. The next thing you want to do is use a comb um, since i am using a closure. I decided to part my hair down the middle and um do about four to six braids on each side. I believe that's what i did you guys will be able to see um, but you want to make sure when you do break your hair. You don't want to braid your hair too big um if you want to have it smaller, since this is a sew-in, that's totally fine as well. Whatever your preference is, it's definitely going to work um. So i'm just going to take my comb and i'm just going to part my hair um. I do like to use weave at the edge of my hair because my edges are recovering from being pulled and being burnt um. So i always like to use weave to braid into my hair that way. It'Ll last longer - and i don't you know, i don't want to ever worry about my hair lifting up or anything like that when i am, of course using a closure um. So i am going to go ahead and braid my hair um. This is pretty self-explanatory if you guys do not know how to braid your hair, and you want to know how to braid your hair. I also have a video on how to cornrow slash braid your own hair to the scalp, so i'm going to go ahead and speed this up for you guys - and i will be back later on in the video time alrighty guys so now that i am just About done finished braiding. This is the finished product. I went ahead and upgraded the other side of my hair because i did not want to bore you guys so now we're going to start sewing okay, so i always like to make sure that i braid the back of my hair and since i am using needle And thread i always like to have about six to eight needles and um. I have a a nice size thread that i got from my local beauty. Supply, store, um i'll, be sure to drop those items down below um. So, as you guys see, all i'm doing is taking my needle and thread, and i'm just sewing my braid down like so you want to make sure that you definitely go ahead and secure this, because you do not want to have any ends. Sticking out of your sew-in um, if you can do this yourself, i highly recommend that you have somebody. Do it for you or you just have somebody assist you while doing so um. So, as you guys see, the back of my hair is nice and flat. The hair that i will be using today is from the one and only inches of envy. Remember y'all! I still have that promo code. So if you guys ever want to get some hair um, you guys can use kela 15 to get 15 off. I am using their brazilian straight hair, um, inches 14 um 16 and i believe the closure was 14 i'll leave that down below as well, okay, but as for the sewing um. So all i'm doing is taking my needle and my thread, i'm putting it through both whips. I will be um sewing down double tracks. I will be doing the double track method here, because it was very quick and it was easy for me um, but all i am doing is literally sewing in up under and i'm just pulling the thread through um. So the reason why i'm able to do this y'all, it took me a very long time to learn how to sew my own hair in um, and i wanted to make sure that i showed you guys that it is possible for those of you who are like. I can't sew in my hair girl. Yes, you can, you just have to be patient and you just have to be willing to just risk having new arm muscles when you're finished, because that is what you can look forward to a new hairstyle and your arms may or may not be tired um. But as far as sewing goes, it's very self-explanatory. I really like to sew very close together, so i'm going to sew the back of my hair and then i'm going to join you guys when it's time for me to apply the closure. So i hope you guys continue to watch one alrighty guys. So this is what the closure looks like. So i did go ahead and i put like small pieces of elastic bands on to the closure, just so that it can help remain secure. Since i am doing a bang hairstyle, i don't really need glue. I mean some people still like to use glue, but i just wanted this to be: full blown sewing no glue or anything um, so all i'm doing is gently pulling and i'm going to sew the ends of the elastic bands to that first braid that you guys Seen the braid that i added weave to some people like to use elastic bands, some people - don't i personally like to use it because i don't really want to use too much glue but, like i said this hairstyle or any hairstyle for that matter, is essentially up To you do what you please, if it works for you, sis, i'm here, for it go for it. If it's not gon na work and you're struggling with the edges, then we gon na have to come up with another method for you, okay, but i am i'm going to go ahead and once i sew these down, i am going to add in more weave. So i am going to go ahead and speed that up for you guys, foreign, so so you alrighty, so i'm just about finished. Thank god. We finally made it. This is what the closure looks like it's a mess right now, but don't judge, don't worry um, i'm just gently combing through the hair, just to try to get all the knits out and or the knots. I'M sorry, and now i'm just taking my scissors and just cutting the hair. I did not bleach the knots. I did not do anything to the closure only because i am literally cutting it into a bang um. I know it kind of looks a little loose, but y'all it's really tight. It'S very tight onto my hair so do not have any worries you guys will not be able to see that anyway, like i said, if you do try this hairstyle and also i couldn't really see that well, so that's why i'm like super close to my camera, But this is what it actually looks like. So, like you guys, can't really tell i know i'm giving i'm giving um some type of vibes that don't need to be given right now, but we're going to go ahead and fix that. So now i am just trying to lay down the closure, so what i'm doing is i'm taking a hot comb, and i am just going to press the hair down at like a medium high heat, like i kind of like the look for the bang to have Like the middle part, which is why i'm like doing the middle part first and then i'm going to take the hot comb, but you want to make sure that the hot comb is at like a medium heat. If you have like a wax, stick um or like an edge control, stick you can use that and probably spray like a little bit of gossipy glue spray, not too too much because you don't want it to be flaky um. But as you guys see like you, guys can't tell like far away like that looks like my scalp. So i'm just going to go ahead and continue to press the hair down so that i can get the hair to lay down to my liking. And i also like the closure. One reason why i prefer the closure is because everybody doesn't like the thick bang, i'm not a thick bang type of girl. Okay, i like for my bangs, to look natural and to look soft, so that is why i like the closure so now that we finished that i'm just going to go ahead and um flat iron, my hair um. That way, we can go ahead and get to the styling, so i hope you guys continue to watch alrighty. So now that we are finally finished, we are going to cut the bangs y'all. Look at this hair. This hair is slapping okay. I love this hair. I love them. Thank you inches of envy, okay, but, as you guys see, i am going to just like scissor the bangs a little bit. I didn't do it like a certain kind of way, because i want the bangs to kind of look natural and i love the fringe look to the bangs. So it's like you, don't really cut straight across you kind of like, like kind of just like scissor it. A little bit they do have combs to where you can just razor it um. I don't really care for those i like to just chop it up myself. You know if you, if you have that preference and that's your preference i'm here, for it, go for it right um, but i know how i, like my bangs. I'Ve been doing my hair for quite some time, so i just prefer to cut it like this. So this is what the bangs look like. I am going to take a little bit of my flat irons, my remington flat irons, that i got from target and i am just flattering my bang - just to see what it looks like, but it's definitely giving me natural vibes and i really really like it. I like how flowy they are. They were a little long, so i did have to go back and kind of cut it a little bit, but i mean i really could have worn my hair like this, but i'm such a bob girl y'all like come on now, if you watching this video, you Are a bob girl when you seen it bob, he was like. Yes, let me click it. That'S how i feel anytime, i wear long hair. I always cut my hair into a bob and it never fails anybody. That knows me. I cut my hair into a bob. Like i'm, a bob girl so for my bob girls, this one's for you boo, but this is what the bang looks like like look at that. Oh my gosh, it's so pretty a little long, but i did go ahead and i made the adjustments to it. So i think i really couldn't decide whether or not i wanted to keep my hair this length or if i wanted to cut it. So i just went ahead and i cut it at like the medium medium length. I did go ahead and layer it first. I am all for the natural layers and the effects of the hair um, so i'm going to go ahead and continue to layer, the hair and i'm just going to flat iron it and just clean it up, and then i will join you guys when it's time For me to cut the hair into a bob, so i forgot to mention to you guys: the hair was a little thick and i wanted to lay it down. So what i did was i put a little bit of mousse on my hair and some perm strips, and i just place that on my hair, i blow dried it and i let it dry. So that is why you guys see me continuously flat ironing my hair. It'S super flat, so if you ever do a sew-in, i highly recommend that you do the mousse method, where you just of course, you lay it on your hair, um comb it into it or just pat it and then put a scarf or put perm strips on There and it'll lay that hair all the way down. So i always do this. Even for my quick weaves as well, and i just love like it looks y'all this i really could have left it this length um, but i definitely wanted to show you guys. The the bob feel so this is what the hair actually looks like and we are definitely about to go ahead and begin cutting this hair into a bob. So at this point i was like maybe i can just do a cute natural cut. I, like a blunt cut bob i'm here for the blunt cut, bobs um. I do like the asymmetric and like other bobs that are out there, but i love a blunt cut like it's just so classy to me um, but when i was cutting it, i really could not decide whether or not i wanted to keep it this length or, If i wanted to cut it shorter, so you guys will see this length and you guys will see me. I did cut it shorter because that's my preference and it is very hot in charlotte um. So i was just like yeah. Let me just cut this thing, but it's super easy. When cutting all you really have to do is just bring both sides of the hair up and just you know just cut straight across and if you do have issues try to see if you can get somebody to assist you, okay, but essentially i mean this - is The look you guys would have never guessed. This was a closure, you know what i mean and i believe the closure is like a 5x5, but i am pretty much finished with the look. I absolutely love the hair. I love the hair. Make sure you guys check out inches of envy today and make sure you guys use my code kilo15 that way you can get 15 off of your hair. Okay, you will not be disappointed. I promise this is the hair before i actually cut it, and i absolutely love it. It'S so good, it's nice and thick it looks natural like i. I really couldn't even tell you guys, like i really love it. This is the final product of the hair. I really really hope that you guys enjoyed this video as much as i did, recording it for you.
