Attempting To Touch Up My Lace Frontal... By Myself?!

Hey guys it's Leah and in today's video I am going to attempt to why do I keep trying to do my hair in like these professional ways like I know what I'm doing y'all I just am going to attempt to touch up my frontal aka. Take my frontal off remove the amazing Slade job that King did you guys don't know who King is you should definitely check out his Instagram. I get weaves. I always get my hair done by him and he just slays me to the gods every freaking time he's so talented. So if you're ever in LA - and you try and get your hair done check him out, but I did what he did because was i wrapping my hair every night? No did my edges begin to lift as a result of that yeah? Okay, most of the time at night, I would wrap my edges up, but there would just be times when I'd be at my friend's house like watching movie or something, and I would just be laying down and like whenever you're laying your hair is pulling at the Edges so like the chances of it lifting begin to rise, I would take naps sometimes at home, like on the couch like girl. It doesn't matter if you're gon na lay down you need to wrap your edges up. If you have a frontal and you're gon na lay down wrap your edges, sis, so my edges started lifting about after a week, because I'm ahead, so I decided I was going to clean off the gel that was on my lace, frontal and attempt to reapply it By myself I freaking love this hair. You guys I have, I can't even fit in the frame. I have major inches right now, you guys so this hair is from you, nice hair, I've gotten weaves three times two out of the three we're from unites hair and I've been so satisfied with the hair I've gotten from there. I believe this is Peruvian curly hair. I got four bundles from 22 to 26 inches and then my lace, frontal is about 20 inches. Every time I've ever brought King. You, nice, hair, he's been like. Oh yeah like this is really nice. So that's that's. Coming from a freaking, talented hairstylist, who does weaves all the time, we'll have a unites hair I linked down below. So I just want to make sure it's as late as possible, we're gon na head to the bathroom now and hopefully bring some life back into this weave, and now in my mom's bathroom I have to get that good lighting. You feel me alright, so I'm just gon na give you guys a rundown of the supplies that I have with me right now: shampoo and conditioner. Oh, these are both conditioner, OH suave, avocado and olive oil, shampoo and conditioner. I also have my gossipy alter glued, which is just what I use to like my edges. Whenever I'm putting on a wig King, my hair stylist said he hates this, so I'm sorry King. This is all I have. He used like this holding spray and a bunch of cool like super salon, stuff that I do not have so. I'M just gon na use this for today this little brush for my edges and to just like clean the hair in general, and then I also have a blow-dryer, basically gon na start by trying to lift the edges up, as you can see, they're pretty lifted, but, Like it kind of stops here, because it is laid down the rest of the way they don't want to rip my edges out, if you guys watched my attempting to remove my weave by myself, that was a nightmare. My edges were definitely like, partly going on the less. So that's not a mistake. I'M gon na make again so this time I'm gon na saturate it with conditioner, because I think that'll help a little bit more than just water with it. A lot of people say to use alcohol, and I consider doing that this time. I just think that's so drying unless much just like really wouldn't come off. I don't think I would do that. I'M not trying to come through dripping today, so definitely gon na need a towel. For this part, oh my god, so much drip. I can definitely feel it loosening up. I think I'm just gon na go ahead and spray a bunch and let it sit for a little bit. So, as you can see, it's lifting weight easier now, you're just kind of using my finger under here. I basically like to go from the inside cuz. I'M trying to protect my natural edges, okay, so this is right. Like I already [ __ ] laid down a wig cap first to protect my natural hair, I'm realizing now, I'm lifting that wake up up alrighty! Well, it's done now. I'M bald went ahead and grabbed my natural Club to make it a black, castor oil, a growth serum with orange. Any type of you know growth, serum oil. Whatever will work. I think I should probably clean this area first, but I will apply some of this to my scalp to make sure it stays moisturized. We don't want the Sahara Desert on our head y'all. That'S enough! It'S also and do this in the YouTube tutorial. Like I don't know about y'all, but I learned everything from YouTube - I mean I'm sure you all do I'm sure you're probably trying to learn something out of this, but I'm not a professional. Let'S, let's make that clear, get some shampoo on this brush and basically just try to clean all of the product off of my edges and my braids. Oh the reason I did this is just to basically prevent any build-up, because I think that's what usually causes is the white flakiness that you can get on your edges that we don't want. We do not do that here since basically lets us have like a clean slate so that once I do try to relay the edges, there's like a clean surface for it to lay on you know, so you actually want to do the same thing right here. So I'm basically just gon na keep going up with the shampoo and I'm gon na start a cleaning of my lathe. You can literally see the product like the gel. Just come off like a baby shrimp. I'M sorry, oh, that was, that was graphic. There'S a whole lot more where that came from all on this hairline. You just want to do your best to scrub it up, dub. All of that, okay pause, I'm actually a splitting image of Hagrid right now, but now we just want to wash all of this out. I'Ma wash my hair and I'm gon na be right. Back mom's. Helping me out was like the last pieces. I'M surprised you haven't noticed anything different about me. Yes, I'm about to go up to what it would be like to say now that it's washed out, I'm just gon na. Take this really thin comb. Just gon na brush out the hair around my edges, like a bunch of random pieces of the gel and the glue kind of stuck in my hair. Are you good, oh you're, playing with kitty so yeah, I'm brushing all that excess out? Okay, y'all! So here comes the hard part, I'm about to attempt to lay my edges and I'm gon na feel like. I could have done this way simpler and just like added a bit of gel blow dried a little bit and it would have been fine. Maybe I'm just learning this now for a future emergency, where I'm gon na need to redo my frontal. Let'S hope this turns out okay, but I want to start off by laying down this is the hair cap. I didn't clean out the gel from here, though I just don't feel like doing that whole process again, so we're gon na go in with the back to the ultra blue. I bet there's hairstylist watching this video like Leah. No don't do it Baba's getting tacky er, which just means it's getting stickier from the glue. I'M gon na. Take this growth serum onto my scalp. Oh, that feels so good. I'M just gon na apply another layer just to make sure this is as tacky as possible and lay it down. I feel like the wig cap has shampoo on it y'all. You know I'm just gon na keep going really not gon na. Do that again. So I'm just gon na cut off the excess by my ears. This is where you really turn yourself bulbs. I think this make up for ever ultra HD Perfector. This is just a blurriness skin tint. So I'm going to take this stippling brush from out and apply it, so this basically creates like a scalp type. Look I'm actually eating right now! Oh okay! This one addiction I use is not completely the color I'm looking for so I'm gon na also go in this NARS, sheer glow foundation in the tone at Cadiz. Well, I feel, like my foundation, is just mixing with the oil I put on my hair and it's just like not a good combination, but we're just gon na we're just gon na keep moving all right, I'm fine with the scalp color, I'm cool with it. Now the edge legging it commences, I'm gon na start off by putting is I got to be glue right below where I put the wig cap, then go ahead and head to get that tacky once again, y'all know the drill. By now I'm nervous about this party. All and basically just going to cut the edges right here so that it would lie right in front of my ear. Basically, I'm gon na pull down my edges and I'm trying to make this as natural as possible, usually clip the rest of your hair back and I'm just going to cut these edges so that they're easier to work with. I think I'm doing pretty well so far, but I'm also just gon na go in with more of the gossipy glue, as I got especially back here just to make sure it does stay down, hey y'all, so it's the next day and I had to let my Whole cup and my edges are kind of coming up on the front, like the sides are definitely late. Let'S get a little zoom in action yeah, so the sides are definitely laid down right here. [ __ ], my edges started rippling, so it's rippling like a wave and the reason I was doing that is when I laid my edges. I didn't like pull the hair back enough, so it's not laying as flat as it should be. Listen, oh wait! A second! Oh, the lighting that just Wow okay, I don't want my edges to ripple I'm gon na trying to fix this as much as I possibly can, but that's pretty much the only issue I have honestly aside from that, I'm pretty satisfied. I don't care if my hair ripples over here, where it's gon na be covered, so I'm just gon na try to push that ripple. That way I actually switched my part last night as well from a middle part, so I think I'm just gon na move. My edges a little bit just to kind of match. I actually kind of like this little wave formation. I did there and the ripple is definitely way more hidden. I'M just laying my edges right now. I'M really trying to do this to try to avoid the ripple effect as much as possible. Just make sure everything stays down right, where it is what it dries, try not to wrap. This too tight, like I know something you want your edges to be laid the likes. This don't cut off your circulation, you, human edges, are, and I'm about to take this free bottle with some conditioner, because this hair is just so thick love. The wet look like well, oh, it makes men a frontal blend with the rest of the hair. So well too, especially since the front cell is a few inches shorter all right, but I will see you guys in the outro with my edges laid. Could you tell at the beginning that it was the frontal that I had done myself because in the intro this is what it looks like I switched the hairline. I relayed the edges, like I'm thinking, it's looking good and hopefully this'll.
