Lets work together: email me for collaborations @ [email protected]

All right, y'all, hey what the is going on um. My name is kay i'm about to come and do like an updated um, baby, hair, uh, frontal maintenance, video um. Just because, like times have changed, my skills have changed, so i'm gon na hop right into it. So this side is pretty much laid, but, as i was thinking about it, i said: wait the people really loved my frontal maintenance, video um, a while back. So i'm gon na like pause and like just pick back up recording for youtube. So here i am um. I went ahead and did this side - i don't know if you can tell, but in the beginning all this was just like lifted up, so it's pretty much laid back down. I'M not going to mess with it, but i'ma just hop right over to this side, because starting here um, it's just a mess from here. Eyebrows have just recently been micro, shaded um, i'm going through like the peeling and the healing process. So those off limits too, like don't talk about me, please y'all. I swear all right. Let'S get started so the first thing, with frontal maintenance, um i've had this wig on. I want to say about this is the third week so for this week to like look like this um, it's doing pretty good uh, so i'm gon na just show y'all like what's lifting it probably relate itself y'all like i really don't be, having no lifting these Days like for real forever, because one thing i can do like, i can lay a wig. I promise you but i'ma just show you all right. There goes some lifting right there. So when you're, starting on your maintenance um, you don't well, i kind of did force that up just to like give y'all something to see. But you don't want to force up any lace like if it's laid, don't lift it all right. We only want to mess with what has lifted um. You want to comb out your baby hairs, comb them straight straight out, um and then use your baby hairs to kind of like lift up what has lifted like. I see like see that right there boom all right um. I know this beginning area yeah, so all of this is going to get relayed all right so from about here all the way to here all right. So let's do this. I do so you want to take a damp q-tip with some alcohol um. It can be water or alcohol, but you know alcohol really removes the glue, so we're not going to drench this section because we don't want to lift anything else. We just want to clean the area that you know we bout to put some more glue on while we're doing this um the cleaner, the surface, the better, if you keep just piling glue over top areas that have lifted without like cleaning it first, it's not really Going to stick because that skin is already pretty like you know oily, you know it's just been covered up, so it's not going to be 100 clean. So we want to clean this off, get it ready, get her ready and that's it boom. This instance. You don't need a lot of glue um. My is upside down because she's almost out but um. For this part, i'm gon na put the glue on the back of my hand. This should be all you need for maintenance, okay, yeah, so i'm gon na do a little bit more. This is all you should need for maintenance. Okay, like a drop of glue on the back of your hand; okay, all right so starting with the area right here. I'M gon na take my rat tail comb and just reapply the glue. Why is it better to do it like this than with the bottle um, because this is with the bottle? I just feel like you're gon na go too crazy, okay, um! So try and flip back your wig as far as possible um. So you can get all the areas that have lifted um and then just reapply. Your glue, like you, see me doing right here. Okay and you want to like, lay it on and apply it until it's like just smooth it out the best way you can um, because you know you just don't want any white residue underneath here when we go to lay it back down: okay, okay, great so That was like one layer. You know i'm gon na do another one, because we still want to put a heavy amount of glue, so we don't have no more lifting. This is laid back down for our good little while all right, it's working, it's drying, pretty clear, because it's not a huge section. So after this coat number three i'm gon na lay it back down. I just don't want to wait all day. Okay, so i'm gon na use my baby here to kinda. You know lay this back down and i may have put in some glue like too far up, but i ain't nothing that ain't. Nothing. There ain't no thing so i'm gon na just use my baby hairs to kind of like comb the lace back down. Okay, so like i'm gon na grab, i'm gon na just start comb with the baby hair like take them and like boom use. The back of my comb to like lay it back down y'all, see that did y'all, see that i know my forehead is crusty like i said i applied just like too much glue too far up, but i'm gon na take a q-tip and get that i'm gon Na do it again, i'm going to comb the baby, hair and use like this part to kind of like press down on it as i come boom y'all see that this is easy. This is simple: baby hair, frontal maintenance, like so many people, be trying to book for final maintenance, and it's like they'd, be in my chair for like 20 minutes, but you know i would rather y'all come back to me than like mess it up. But for those of you who are confident in themselves and can do this at home just need a few tips here. You go um. That is not it. What i'm going to do next is pretty much like remelt this. So i'm going to spray my hairline and i'm going to sit with my band on um. If you know damn my bad leaving you damn hold on with my elastic band. So after spraying my hairline i'ma just put this on and boom all right. So typically, i sit with this one while i flat iron and style my hair um. This video is just about maintenance and baby hairs today, so i'm gon na let this sit for a little bit and then i'm gon na come back and then i'm gon na start my baby here. Okay, so when it comes to doing your baby hair um, you are definitely going to need you, your comb, you know comb your edges out, blah blah blah um edge control, the edge control that you need to use all my clients, pretty much know um. It needs to be something waxy. Okay, y'all hear how that sound. When you hit the bottle, that's how your edge control needs to be um. This is how it looks. Um, it's very wet. It'S just real, thick. Okay, it's not a gel with alcohol. Alcohol removes the lace, so if you're using like a watery alcoholic gel, stop it okay, um i like this so and then i'm going to use a bore, um edge brush. So i'm gon na start with my two temple parts like on the sides, and then i do my sideburns um. Then i say the middle part for last, because i really don't ever really know like what to do with that part. Or it just depends on the look of the person hairs, hair that you're doing so just save that middle part. For last - and i start with like the two temple points - all right: let's do it so, and this is why this edge control is good, because it's so waxy, it's gon na keep the lace laid y'all, see that all right, so i'm going to comb and swoop This brush is too big, but the way i haven't done my baby here, i wasn't sweeping them, but i mean i guess i'll sweep them for y'all um y'all see how i'm like kind of coming these and sleeping these in place boom. I think that was too easy. What y'all think um? I don't know what i want to do with that hair, but i know i want all of this to go this way like that. Okay, boom baby hair done on that. Well not on this side, but the temple part is done all right. So when you're doing your next baby hair, you always want your next baby hair to begin where that one has ended. Okay, so you see my i swooped up this way, so my next baby hair needs to start right here. You know and i'm going to apply some more baby hair and sweep them like this. These i had cut pretty short because i had like kind of went for another baby hairstyle versus like the old, regular swoops um, but, like i said for this video, i'm going to style my baby hair like regular um and not how i was doing it. So that's baby hair for this side, y'all see that um you can come just like um all right. So when it comes to the middle part, you can get real creative with it um. I have been wearing mine, like swooped, into like a swirl um versus like sleeping up into the hairline, some more with the rest of the hair um. Let me use my comb for this just because that brush is just too damn big. I don't know, i'm feeling a little exotic, so you know i'm gon na keep my exotic baby hair. Look, you know we're coming out this way, that's ugly, in order for it to kind of like swirl the way that you want it to go. That'S why that waxy edge control is important. It'S so waxy um. You can just put it on the hair and move the hair around like, however, you want to you know: okay, one thing i am going to do is take like some, not oil, but a serum just to like give my hair a little shine to your baby Hair or your maintenance at home um, i used a comb, edge, control and my band. I want a lace, glue, okay and my edge brush okay. So these are the things that i use. I use my lace glue. You know to put on the lace back down: um waxy edge control, okay, right tail, comb edge, brush got ta, be the boar hair b-o-a-r, you know bore um an elastic band like i said just text me um comment down below. If you are interested um, i can get you one um and then your spritz. Those are like your main things that you're gon na need. Um, that's pretty much it. I do want to. Thank you all for watching. If you have any questions, just comment down below um, just anything comment down below, like i said i'll put all my business information in the description box below please make sure to follow me on instagram. My hair instagram is kate. Did your lace follow my personal instagram um naturallycave that is naturally okay with three wise at the end? Okay, um, but i'll put all of that in the description box for you to you know get as well, but, like i said, thanks for watching and i'll see you all soon um in my next video bye,
