My name is winnie jean and welcome to my channel and today we're doing an episode of the beauty supply store series. The hair we're going to use today is super beginner friendly, like literally it's one of those just pop on and walk out the house. You don't really have to do much type of vibes, so i kind of wanted to start there. I get so many comments saying that you guys love the hairstyles that i do, but you would never be able to do them yourselves, which i don't believe. I think that if you took the time to watch the video a few times and really take your time and you had like a full day to do it and mess up and fix it and just play around with it, i think you can do any style. You put your mind to, but since y'all swear, y'all beginners, i want to do something really really easy today. So i'm about to pop on this wig. This is the curlified crochet wig collection from equal, and i have it in the texture, curl cold. I wanted to find something similar to my hair texture, maybe a little bit looser that i could just pop on when i need to go somewhere without any laying of lace. No leave out. I'M i'm gon na do nothing okay, so this is gon na, be my. I don't wan na do nothing with here's the package and i wan na go for like a cute little bang moment. I have the color 1b and let me show you what it looks like okay, so it is a curly crochet wig, with a 5x5 hand, tie closure on top and that's just so that the hair can kind of move freely. You can put a part on the side. You can kind of move it around if you're familiar with full wigs, they kind of like lay where they lay, but because this has a 5x5 crochet top. You can really play with it and kind of give it a little style. The 5x5 crochet closure gives the hair so much volume which is perfect for a curly texture. Wig like this. I think i want to go for a bangs look today, but just in case i want to leave a little bit of edges out. Y'All know me: i have to have some edges out just in case the wind blows, but i don't want to have any like parted leave out. So let's get into the braiding pattern to start off so because it's a curly crochet wig. I don't want to stress about my braiding pattern too much, so i'm going to just leave out about an inch of edges along the front and then i'm going to braid everything going straight back and probably like three to four braids literally, is about to give cleo. Okay, i'm not going to do a whole full lace, plait thing, but because my hair is a little bit longer and thicker. I want to go ahead and braid it down, but i want to give you guys a few options. Just in case, you aren't comfortable with braiding your hair to the scalp. You can put it in two flat twists or four flat twist. You can plait your hair and, like put it in individual braids, if you're comfortable with that, you can put it in individual twists. All you want to do is just get your hair as flat as possible. If your hair is shorter, you can just pop it in a ponytail. When i cut my hair last year, i would have been able to just slip my hair back and get into a little bit of ponytail, but, as you can see, this wig is not sitting on top of this. So let's go ahead and get into the braided base see i feel like this is too long. I don't want to have to blend anything, so i want to just leave out maybe like a half an inch. I just want to leave out the very edges so that the wind blows it looks really really natural, but i don't need like full-blown leave-out. So this is what i'm leaving out so far on this side and i'm just going to go ahead and twist it out of the way i have to be really organized when i'm doing my own, hair or stuff can get crazy, real, quick all right. So we got the little edges twist it out of the way and now i'm going to go ahead and pop a couple of braids. In the back of my hair, i decided that three is probably pushing it, so i'm going to go ahead and part. My hair down the middle and then put each side into two braids, so i'll have a total of four braids in my hair um all right. So i have all four of my braids in i'm taking a wig cap. You can use any color because you won't be able to see it, but i just want to have my braids tucked in under my wig. So i'm popping this wig cap on and then i'm just flipping the braids up in the back and tucking them into a wig. So now it's time to pop our wig on so the wig has a elastic band. It also has a comb in the back and then two combs along the sides in the front. I'M gon na apply the elastic band. First then tuck in the back cone, and then i'm going to go ahead and tuck the comb on the sides. Okay, so i fluffed the hair out, and now i just want to take my little twist out in the front now, i'm just taking a bristle brush and kind of brushing my hair back into the wig. I'M not going to do any baby hair because you really can't see it for this style, so this is literally just me throwing the wig on giving it a fluff and you don't even need to like fluff it and trim it every time. So now, whenever i need a quick little afro wig to put on - and now i have this wig and it's super inexpensive, but i want to go ahead and pull it back and see if i can get like a half up half down moment. Alright. So the half the pack down was cute. It was real, big and spicy. I really love it like down like this, with the curly bang, really big and fluffy, and i hope that you guys enjoyed this video.
