I am Katie if you're new, if you're a returning subscriber welcome back what it do so today I have got this gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous unit from I Define hair and this unit guys can. Can you all see, look at the blend. Look at this look at how seamless this Blends and how seamless it looks. I am giving you natural, I am definitely giving you natural and I I love, and I love it. I am here for it. This is so stunning, so this unit is from our defined hair and this is their pinky straight unit with kinky curly edges guys. I like this is so stunning. This is really really natural and I love love how it turned out - and this is the first I'm actually working with such unit, and I was a bit worried, I'm not going to lie. I was a bit worried. I didn't think I would be able to pull it off, but guys I think, yeah we did with it, we did it, we did it um, we definitely it did, and I am absolutely in awe with this unit. I am obsessed full-on obsessed, so yeah. So if you would like to see how I installed this unit and how I finesse the hell out of this unit, actually this unit didn't need finessing. Thank you note that was included in the packaging and you get a wig cap, alligator clips and yeah. So this is the unit I'll be working with today. This is a very unique unit. I'Ve never received anything like this before it's a kinky straight unit with kinky edges, as you can see, I'm just showing you how full this unit is and how it flows. It is looking absolutely amazing and to take a closer look at the hairline guys. It already comes pre-plocked and pre-bleached, so this is literally Straight Out of the Box, guys, as you can see, I'm just showing you how the part is, how far the parts and space goes, and that is already pre-bleached and as you can see it, the hairline is Looking absolutely amazing, it is pre-plucked, so this is their scalp knots. Guys like the knots on this unit is so thin. It is super super thin and it is amazing hands down one of the best units. I'Ve ever worked on literally so we're gon na go in to just brush out the kinky edges that will come out, and I want to basically look at how it looks when it is combed out and, as you can see, I feel like it's a bit too Dense at the front, and that's the amount of hair that basically came out after combing it and I'm just showing you a closer look of how it looks, you can leave it as it is. But as I know how my hairline looks, I I know where to basically pluck so I decided to just go in and just pluck a little bit um. I am very, very gentle with how I'm plucking um it looks like it might. I might be too um quick or harsh, but I am very, very gentle, because the baby has a very delicate so I'd say take your time guys and just do this. That'S if you choose to pluck the hairline a little bit, but you can definitely wear it as it was, but I just know my hairline is it set up like that, so I just go in and just pluck Away really. I didn't really pluck a lot because I didn't want to um, take away all the um kinky edges and stuff so yeah. So, as I mentioned guys, this is their scalp nuts, so the scalp knots basically means they used one to two strands: every lace hole and whereas the invisible knots you get two to three strands in every lace, hole and then a normal knot is three to four Strands in every lace hole so, as you can see, that's why it is looking absolutely amazing and you basically get a clean, bleached knots and four frontal cap literally. The hairline is so clean, absolutely amazing, so I'm gon na go ahead to do the other side. I'M basically do the same thing. Just comb up the edges and then use my tweezers, which I got from the hair shop or the beauty, supply shop, um, straw and um yeah, so I'm just gon na go in and just pluck ever so lightly and um just to make sure it matches the Other side, foreign foreign plucking, I'm gon na, go ahead to just um press the frontal portion of this unit I'll make sure to comb up the baby hairs. The curly baby hairs because I do not want to um press it down or get it to be straight or get it straight. I'M using my character wax stick and just applying that onto the frontal part and then just pressing away just to make sure it is flat. So I choose not to um hot comb, the edges, because I want you guys to see the natural effect of the edges and that's the whole point really. I want it to look like my hair and look natural, so yeah foreign, so I decided to straighten out this unit and I'm using my using my heat protector and I'm just spraying that generously onto the hair and then using my metal comb to just brush out Any kinks and then using um, my brush, so I'm not sure um or what to call this brush, but it basically clams together the hair, and it just gives you that really really really straight. Look whenever I use this brush to straighten out my wigs, it comes out comes out bone straight and yeah. I will make sure to I'll try I'll try to link that Below in the description box. If I find it because I've had it for about two years now um, I will try and look for it for you guys. Can you see how nicely that literally just straightened? It looks so good, so yeah. So I'm just showing you a closer look at the brush and then I'm gon na just go ahead and do the same process and yeah foreign. Can you guys see the sheen on this unit? Look at how straight it goes and look at how nice it looks and that's the difference between both and guys. You should not sleep on this brush. I will definitely try and see if I can um link it down below and I'm also using my BaByliss um straighteners, and this is the white plate straighteners as well. So this is how the unit looks like when it is. It is fully straightened. Look at the last star on this unit. Look at how straight it goes. Look at the movement. This unit is fire, hey guys, so we are serving skin. We are serving space, no makeup and a fresh, fresh braids. Yes, um, let's get into this install um. So before we start, I thought you know what I thought, why not show you guys how I prep my have before putting a wig on so I'm just gon na. Add some oil in the scalp. Don'T forget to all your scalp. Ladies, maybe a surprise, I haven't cut my hair yet because I always tend to itch to cut my hair around this okay. To be honest, I don't like hair on my head funny enough, but I do wigs all the time, but I tend to basically cut my hair at any given chance I get so I'm very surprised. I haven't cut it yet and because last year, around this time I had short hair and um yeah. Let'S see, I always tell myself: oh I'm gon na. Let it grow out, I'm gon na. Let my hair do its thing to grow, but we always end up cutting it. Somehow I don't know so. My scalp is moisturized, so I used the Hair Repair. Coconut oil and butter bow. Look at it vital oils for dry damage, okay and scalp - and it looks like so thing - is to slick back these edges as you can see, because my hair is freshly done. I don't really need to do this, but I'm very extra I'll do that, just to ensure that I get a fullest milk and oh I'm using the edge booster all right. So all the edges are out of the way so the wig cap, I always use the Kiki haircut. I always use the Kiki haircut invisi scalp wig cap. I absolutely love this. I got this in the shade cocoa. This is basically the only recap I wear guys ever since I came across it as you can see, it looks like so very thin and very breathable. I like to just always stretch it out a little bit and then just make sure all my little braids push and that's basically all the prep. Actually that's a lie. I also go in with the Kiki haircut. Easy skin protector, absolutely love this stuff. I use this. Every single time before I am so any unit as I do have a sensitive skin, so this is very good to ensure that it protects my skin from any sort of it's really it's. It'S really essential to protect your skin guys, so yeah foreign also helps to remove any excess oil. As you'll know, I love to be moisturized down, looking like a glazed donut, but this stuff is very essential right. So that's all the prep you need and, as you can see, this is the unit. I did go ahead to curl it and straighten it. Let me show you the lace work as you can see this Blends so well. It looks really really good and that's the construction we are working with today. This is a 13 by 4 HD, Elise, frontal unit, you've got two cones in the side and then you've got one at the bottom here, and you've also got the adjustable straps and your regular straps at the bottom as well. The edges are actually Curly. It'S got like um Kinky, Curly edges, which is really really nice and I'm absolutely excited to install this. I did go ahead to pluck a little bit um just so the wig doesn't look too wiggish and stuff. So yeah, that's pretty much it. As you all know. I don't like talking, whilst installing so I'm gon na, do a voiceover for the install portion of this video and I'll be back with my thoughts and review about the unit. So, to start off this install, I go in with my cuticle scissors to just cut off the ear tabs just to make the wig fit me um, snug and properly, and I do that for both sides. This is usually my first step into installing my wigs and it is very, very sensual foreign to just cut off the excess lace. This just helps me to see um what I'm doing so I did lose the footage of me doing the um other side of my hairline, but I actually just used my even wonder: lay spray in the gold can and just sprayed that generously and then um just Um, let that air will not air dry. I used my blow dryer in medium to cool heat and then use my comb to just press that in and work the product in, so I'm gon na go in one more time with the blow dryer. But this time with my Rock tail comb and just work the products in and now I'm just gon na go in to cut off the excess lace using my eyebrow eraser. As you can see, I'm literally leaning forward because I could not see for the life of me - I could not see where the lace stopped or started, because it was just so hard and I did not want to end up cutting out too much of the baby Hair, so I'm just going to go in again with my even wonder: spray and just use my fingers to just um spread that out and use my blow dryer for a couple of seconds and then use the edge of my ratel comb and the comb a bit. And just comb the product in and then yeah. So if one ultimate melt, I go in with my Bed Head spray. I'Ve been using this recently again and I use this as a melting spray, and this works, like wonders. Absolutely amazing just spray it out at the tip of my rattle comb and then literally just press that into the lace and use, and I also use my blow dryer to help melt it in, and it also helps make the process go a bit quicker as well. You can also let let it air dry but yeah, I'm just yeah too lazy for that, so um yeah foreign to add a bit of my Foundation onto the lace just a tiny bit and then I will be going in with my wraps strips and on top Of that go in with my elastic band, so the wrap strips basically just um helps lay the the lace and the edges or, but it also basically stops the lace from going White so yeah. So I decided to try that and it really worked like it actually really really worked. Thank you, and this is how we're looking guys look at how natural this looks. Look at the hairline everything is just looking A1. I am so impressed foreign with my olive oil. Liquid fix and I'm using my Edge brush to just brush the product in and I'm using a tiny bit of Disguise um as the product is quite sticky, um yeah. So you would want to use a tiny tiny bit. As you can see. I literally have a bit at the back of my hand and yeah just to give me a bit more control um, as you do not want crunchy baby hair, especially not the Kinky, Curly, um texture as well and um. I did see that the hair was a bit over bleached around those areas, so I decided to go in with my mascara and just um apply a little bit on there and then use my Edge brush to just brush that in foreign, but that's pretty much it For the install portion of this video, as you can see, the unit is looking absolutely laid and the hairline guys everything it's is everything. This is absolutely gorgeous right guys. So this is the final look. This is how the unit is looking and guys. I am obsessed. I am obsessed with this hair. I am obsessed with this hairline. I I am obsessed with this texture literally. I am obsessed with everything about this wig. Like can y'all see. Can you all see this? It literally looks like it's growing out of my scalp. It looks so natural guys, look at this. This is stunning this this is it this is it. You know that wig that you wear to go, see bae. This is it. This is it. This is the wig like what guys I'm stunned, I'm literally stunned? How pretty is this can't? I cannot. Oh, my God. I am absolutely impressed. I am impressed with the quality, the lace, the plucking literally in the oh, the quality of the hair and it's so lightweight, but yet so full love that gosh right. Let me talk you guys through this place, real quick, so this unit is 20 inches. This is 20 inches 180 density and it is a 13 by 4 HD lace. The hair is straightened literally. It goes all the way down to my waist and it's 20 inches. All right, I ain't mad at that I mean you get extra inches. So why not love that? For me, um - and this is a kinky. This is a kinky straight unit. I believe yes, but double check down below in the description box, because I'll have all the details and specs about the unit down there. But guys are you seeing this he's singing this hi? I'M so sorry I actually. I cannot. I'M actually feeling myself way too much and it's illegal. It'S actually illegal. It'S illegal to look this good, I'm so sorry like yeah. I definitely did my thing. Look how nicely this just Blended in so I decided not to Sleek down the baby hairs or just yeah. So I decided not to sleep down the baby hairs because I wanted basically you guys to see how it looks in its natural form, but I did go in to use what was it yeah. So I did go in to use the liquid fix gel from ORS. I literally used just a tiny amount and then just brushed that um and then use my Edge brush to just brush it comb, it and stuff. Just so, it lays and it does just so. It lays and doesn't really look too curly, so you can mimic the actual, so you can mimic the rest of the hair basically, but um. I found that that product was a bit too tacky. I thought it wouldn't be as sticky. Rather, I didn't think it would be that sticky, but it was so. I ended up using a little bit of the mousse, so I just placed some at the back of my hand and use the brush and then just kind of like brush that in and then use a coin to just comb that out um. Just to loosen up the edges, as I found that they were getting a bit too crunchy for my liking, but nonetheless this install is fire. This wig is a 10 out of 10 from me. It is a 10 out of 10 from me because I'm so sorry like you, can't chat to me like the hair, literally just mimics, it looks like I just got out of the salon. You know got a silk press. You know this is my hair. Well, this would have been my hair if I don't keep cutting my actual hair, but that's a story for another day because but guys, okay, literally I'm gon na, keep doing that the whole time just so, you guys can like what like more legs, might be found.
