Yummy Extensions “Raw LAO Wavvy” Teaser

https://youtu.be/H4aztBan2TU

Hey y'all, it's lindsey, alexandria and welcome back to my youtube channel. So for those of you who may not be so a few of my subscribers welcome um here i am a small tom youtuber. I am in the discovery mode where i am trying to figure out what works best for my viewers. So if you guys have any ideas of something that you would like for me to review, then definitely let me know and i'll i'll definitely do it. But for the purpose of today's video we'll be talking about my experience with yummy hair extensions, this is my eight month review. This video is not sponsored by any way by yummy extensions, and by not sponsored, i mean that i purchased this hair with my her hard earned money. Okay now i do know that currently there's an opportunity for you guys to save some coin. Um today is black friday and i think it's november 28th. So in the event that i'm able to put this video up in time, you guys should have some time to go over and save a few coins on this hair so to get right into it. I'Ll be talking about my experience, um eight months in with wearing this hair straight um, with the exception of taking a break um, probably for a few hours which to take it out deep condition it and then to come back and get it reinstalled. Speaking of installments, i've had a total of three installments so far and um to talk about those installments, i've gotten it in a deep style part which is a traditional sew-in. I have a video up right now that actually shows that it's one of my most popular videos on my youtube channel. So thank you all for watching and supporting me. The second one i have is indeed with an actual closure that i purchased from yummy hair extensions and it is um the same texture of the hair and the third one. Is this one where i have a particular part down the middle so to talk about the specs of this hair and i also have it down in the description box. I have four bundles of the raw wavy texture, okay um. When i purchase this hair, i got it um on a bit of a discount, so for about four bundles of the 24 inch rollover texture. I think i paid a little over seven hundred dollars for it um and i think it may uh retail at a little over a thousand. If i'm not mistaken. So i was able to save some money on that um, going right into the pros about this hair and letting you all know if it's worth it, because, let's keep it real. That'S why you're here to see if it's worth it right and also get my opinion on it um, but the hair, i feel, is definitely worth it talking about shedding. When it comes to this hair, your hair is going to shed okay um out of as long as i've had the hair. Let'S say um. This actually shows like three inches on a weft okay. As long as i've had this hair for eight months total, i would say that from here down to where the tip of my fingertip is, is how much of hair that has actually shed it. Speaking of shedding, you have the ability to seal your wefts if you'd like or you could choose to not steal your wefts. I don't have time to steal my wefts, okay. I have entirely too much going on that's too much for your girl. Okay, i can't do it, so i don't do it and i didn't do it and i'm completely fine. Okay! Moving on to um installs, as i mentioned a little bit earlier, um i've had three different installs okay. To talk about my experience with the first install. I have the traditional sew in with the side part. Okay, i did condition my hair with the tresemme conditioner and that's something that i definitely heavily recommend for. Anybody who is using the brand of yummy extensions definitely do a deep condition with the tresemme conditioner. It will save your life if you'd like to do some experimentation to try something other than that feel free to do it. You know who am i to tell you what to do and what not to do. I'Ve only won the hair for eight months um, but with that uh definitely just use a tresemme conditioner, guys to deep condition. The hair make sure that each strand is penetrated to the best of your ability, um. You can do so by taking the hair and placing it inside of a plastic bag and then just dumping a bunch of conditioner in it, adding a little water to make sure that it is um, not liquidy, but it just has a good consistency for you to Move the hair around within the bag so that all of the contents of the conditioner can get all over each and every strand, including the tracks or the wefts. And then you can take the time to um, get like your denman brush or a detangler of your choosing and just comb through the hair. You know just take your time, comb through the hair and then you put it back in the bag. Let it sit overnight. You can also put it in the microwave for a few seconds to heat it up or you can choose to take the hair and put it inside of the bag. Obviously, and then just let it sit in a hooded dryer, you have many ways of researching these ways to make sure that the conditioner is penetrating the hair so that when it's time for your new install, it can be as smooth as butter. Okay. So that is what i do for each and every one of my installs um. When i first installed this hair, i mentioned that it was very, very, very high maintenance. I also made it a point to stress the importance of at least washing or can, or and or conditioning your hair at least once or twice a week to make sure i think i quoted it, so you could be an easy breezy beautiful cover girl. Now i will say that statement was a bit premature because that was my first time wearing the hair and if it's your first time wearing the hair me in particular this video being on sponsor. I don't have any reason a lot of you guys, i'm going to give it to you straight raw, real and edited okay, that's how i felt at that particular moment now being willing to covet. Okay, also understanding what is important, having kobe put things into perspective and then also with me not having to go into the office and i'm just working from home, like many of you just via webex, i do not take it um, so i'm not that anal about It okay, i actually take the time out to just breathe a little because with cover 19 hitting it just it just puts a lot of things into perspective. You know so to line things back up a bit and having things into perspective um i took that sewing out because it was time and i decided to try somebody different, because i wanted to try their closure. The closure that i purchased was a 18 or 20 inch in the raw wavy texture, which is the exact same texture that i'm wearing right now, and i had that installed. The girl, who did the installment utilized the band method, so she didn't put on an actual stocking cap um and she didn't use the got to be glued to glue it like to my forehead area. She used the band method where she sewed one side of the closure down with one side of the band, and then she looped the band around and then she sewed the other side down, and she put it on my head, like a wig which felt hella weird. But then she started to just sew the tracks on or the wefts to make it a full complete sew in. That was not a really good experience for me. Okay, um closures are very high maintenance and i'm not just saying that as a premature statement, if you know because you wear closures, you know that those are high maintenance, high maintenance, especially if you are choosing to use a sew-in and not a wig. It is very high maintenance. Okay, so i learned quickly that that was not something that was good for me after i went back the second time to have the closure tightened. Okay, now to talk a little bit about the closure, the closers quality was good. Okay. I am not an expert in closures, but from what i could tell the hair texture from the closure matched the hair texture in the actual bundles. So there was no complaint from me there. Okay, there was very ease of of um. You know using the closure with the parting it and it didn't shed okay. The thing that i did not like about the closure, though, was that the one that i purchased was transparent and it looked white okay on my head and i'll try to insert a picture somewhere, so you guys can see it. I tried everything that i could to kind of uh tint the closure and i think the stylus did as well, but we were just our efforts were to no avail so um. I ended up going back and just asking if she could turn the closure into a bang, and i have a picture of that as well, and the bang was pretty cool. You know. I thought that it was nice for what it was, but again with the band method. The closure thing it's just not for me and then also having to go back and pay continuously for her to tighten the closure. I didn't have time for that. Okay, so after about two to three months, i took that out - and now i have this in - which is a traditional sew in, and i just have like a part bust down the middle. This works for me, okay, this works for me because i'm able to scratch my scalp, i can feel my scalp, which is a beautiful feeling when you have in a sew in okay. Now, with this sew in okay, as i mentioned, it's traditional sew in and it's a part down the middle okay. At this point, i am at that eight month mark i got my hair installed. This is november, probably um, october september october. This is about a month going into two months. Okay, so i got it installed in probably the beginning of october, yeah sure the beginning of october. The thing that annoys me, though, is the beards at this point are itching me crazy? Okay, if i had the opportunity to go in and trim the beards or just cut them closer to the wefts or to the track, i definitely would because it would be extremely helpful, but it's very, very itchy. Okay, the beards are super duper itchy, okay, but as it relates to the hair itself. This is what the hair looks like all right, and this is me having the hair for eight months now: you'll notice that i'm taking my hands and i'm rubbing my fingers to the hair guys. I am not a fan of doing this to detangle the hair. Okay. This is not me, and it's actually irritating me now, but i'm only doing this for the sake of the video, so that you guys can see the luster that the hair still has eight months in after three installs. Okay, now also talking a little bit more about the shedding, and i may have covered this, but i want to say it again guys this video is not sponsored. Okay, and i'm saying this again, just in case there are some people who are skipping through the video. I'M guilty of it when i watch other youtubers videos, i completely get it, but if you've skipped over to this part, please understand the importance of this video not being sponsored. I am not getting paid by yummy extensions, nor do they send me this hair for free to do any type of sponsorship on their behalf. I purchased this hair with my hard earned money and i'm actually loyal to my subscribers, and i would not take the time out to review something. I would not take the time out to review something and try to sell you all something that i don't believe in. Okay, so this is something that i purchased some hard hard-earned money and again this is not sponsored okay, but getting back into the video. Now some people like to take their hands and just rub it through the hair like so and that's their way of detangling the hair and that's also their idea of not having as much strands to be lost when they're combing it. I don't have time to be taking my fingers and rubbing it through my hair, especially during times of coving, if i'm out and about and i'm trying to run errands, you better believe i'm not trying to take my hands or my fingers and comb through my hair. Okay, now to go a step further, if you think about it. Logically, if you have to do that and you touch your door handle or you're going inside of a store or you're outside you're doing something or you're at a bar or if you're out trying to get something to eat and you're in an actual uh restaurant setting Or even if you're outside, who has time to keep doing that, like i mean you can but you're gon na have to sanitize your hands, i would hope right guys sanitize your hand and then wait for it to dry, because you don't want that scent to get In your hair and then you got ta, rub your fingers through your hair, not doing that. Okay, so i either either use a bristle brush or a denman brush or a wide tooth comb to go in. Excuse me to go in and detangle my hair, and it's just fine guys again at this month with me being eight months in if the hair is gon na shed it's gon na shed and as i take my hands and i rub it through the hair. I'M getting some um getting some shedding right now, i would say it's probably like can y'all see this. It'S probably like, maybe like two or three strands, but i mean your hair sheds, my hair sheds. Naturally, your hair is going to shed okay. Your hair is going to shed; it is what it is: okay, but jumping back to the nitty-gritty of this guys, all right, you know how i get down and if you don't you're new to my channel, i give it to you real okay, and i give you Details on it and if it's something that you want me to go in and cover a little bit more i'll, definitely feel well feel free to. Let me know and i'll, do it? Okay, is this money, or is this hair worth your money um? Yes, okay! Now budget, for it, i will say that you have the option of paying for it yourself, which is utilizing your on hand, cash. You can dip into your savings or you can swipe your credit card. You have the options of doing that. I think that yummy extensions also has the option to pay it with an installments and that's a different option. Uh. Obviously, i think that has something to do with with uh running your credit, obviously, but that's definitely an option for you to use as well. Do you hate it when you're recording a video somebody sent you a text anyway um? So it's worth the money you know when it comes to the maintenance and the upkeep of this hair stay away from grease stay away from anything greasy stay away from lots of oils. Okay, when you go and you get your hair done at the shop and they use that stick, it's like this. It looks like a little roll-on deodorant, but it isn't. It'S like this little stick, all right. It'S grease! You know they also may use it on your edges. Tell them to use it sparingly, okay and then also when it comes to that finishing spray. Tell them to use that sparingly. Okay, because this isn't the type of hair that you want to have weighed down with a lot of product. Okay, that product can include hair spray. That product can include any type of oils. That product can include anything referencing, perfumes. Anything that's going to cause the hair to dry out because anything that has any type of alcohol in it. It can cause this hair to dry out and, of course, you're going to have to submerge it into some water utilize, the tresemme conditioner, to make sure that the hair is being massaged from root to tip and making sure that it is taken care of okay um. Something else that i could think of that would be helpful. I'M referencing taking care of this hair is when you get ready to go to sleep, don't feel necessary to have to put it in a bunny, okay and don't feel like you need to go out and purchase a silk pillow. You don't have to do that either. Okay with this hair simply take it, and this is what i do especially when i have curls. I have a um, a do-rag and with that durag i just take my hair and uh. Well, i take the durag and i put it like right on the front of my face. I take my real hair and pull it to the back, and then this right here i take it and i put it like in the do rag i like loop, it and then take it and pull it forward and then i'm good all right um, if you Just so happen to want to protect your hair, you can, and you can protect your hair by then taking your hair and just um looping it around in the back, like just twisting it so like this, you can take the hair and just twist it all right. You can twist it up and then once you have your do rag on to protect like your leave out, you can just go ahead and pop the button on top of your hair and you're good to go, and then you drop it. You take your hands. You rub through it. If this is what you prefer to do or you take your wide tooth comb or your denman brush, you rub through it and you're good to go. Okay, so let me think of something else: referencing this hair um, i talked about um. Is it worth it as far as cosplay i just talked about? Is it worth the hype um? I said i talked about some pros on his hair, something else uh some cons besides the uh beards, just condition the hair guys, and i can't even say that. That'S a con because you should you should condition your hair anyway um when it comes to washing the hair, though especially when you go and you decide that let's say you want to put this hair in a sew in and you go to your hairstylist and she's. Getting ready to wash your hair guys be sure to bring your own tresemme conditioner yeah bring your own tresemme conditioner, because in a sense only you will know what works best for your extensions. Okay, this is your investment. So with this being your investment, you have to do what you need to do to ensure that it lasts, and then you have to do what you need to do to ensure that whoever is installing it or doing the install knows how to take care of it. So that it can last okay when it comes to curling the hair and the hair holding a curl again guys. This is eight months in i curled my hair, like four or five hours ago, and it's still holding a curl and i'll just turn around. So you guys can see, can you see it yeah? You can see it alright. So this is what this is, what the hair looks like - and this is eight months in a little bit too much fun with that yeah, so so this is what the hair looks. Like and it's eight months in and because i think i've blabbled enough about this - let's see i'm on on um. You guys can follow me on on instagram. My instagram name is uh the lindsay alexandria. It'S public you'll also see that i only have about maybe 10 pictures on there about 15 followers. It'S because i just rejoined instagram. After probably taking like a two to three year, hiatus um just to focus on me and my family, my little one so you'll notice that i'm kind of in a sense, seemingly new to instagram and then guys something else that's going on with me is. I also have like a second instagram, where i started up my own llc, where i would just be selling some clothes that are appeasing to my eye in hopes that it's appeasing to your eye as well, so guys feel free to support me there as well um. It'S connected and it's within my bio, so the name of my online store is lindsay alexandria, org, but you can also find me on instagram by typing in lindsay alexandria, boutique you'll find it there. You will also find a few of the items that i have for sale on that page and then i'll also go in and make an update, because i plan on opening this up or opening up my website, for you all to support me and to make purchases In december, so that is all that i have. Ceeceelove23: Honestly some of the best hair I’ve ever had, it’s almost been a year

Shug: I love this review sis!!! You’ve always done your research on hair and had the best installs! I can’t wait to see your channel grow and prosper! #newsubbie

Jaelyn Dunn: I REALLY appreciate how thorough this review is.

Alasha Santiago: Thank you for the full disclosure, that this is not a paid sponsorship, it’s your honest review. I’m not a closure girl, so I’m glad you mentioned the closure required maintenance. I’m not looking to doing any maintenance besides combining it, and deep conditioning. I will be off with letting my stylist flat iron, and wand curl it. My question.... have your tried the clip ins extensions? I ordered 1 bundle of Cambodian natural wave 18”. My friend uses the clip ins, and her hair looks great. Are the clips on nice to leave my top out and flat iron my top of my hair out and blend?

Cassandra Roca: Your hair is beautiful and actually my inspiration for getting mine.So I got the same exact hair only I got closure. I was thinking of getting the tranparent but got the medium brown instead. We’re about the same Complexion so I’m really scared the lace may bentoo dark but hearing you say the tranparent looks white I’m thinking I made the right decision.. I’m still waiting on my hair. Any advice?

Glow: Best review so far of Yummy Extensions! Purchase my yummy hair for the second time. I got the straight bundles this time. Can’t wait

Callmejo: Im also a leave out girl! ... closure/frontal are cute but it get annoying at times ☹️

Alasha Santiago: I’m glad you explained not to put to much oil on the scalp, because I wear box braids and corn rolls usually, and I would have jut been pouring oils daily on the scalp.

Bri Thomas: It looks amazing on you!! I hope you post again soon, this review was great

Arlette_Fitover40: Thanks a lot for sharing your experience; You brought love back for the weft extension hair. I just checked Yummy hair extension, unfortunately they don't ship in Ireland where I live; Other than that i would have bought 3 bundles from them to treat myself for Christmas.

Zee’s World: You’re so pretty and your videos are so thorough and thought through!!! Subscribed!

m: I would love to know how you care for your sew in! All the details like caring for your leave out and caring for the bundles each wash. It looks like you reallllyyy know what you’re doing and I’d love to learn more!

Crystal Johnson: This was a great review , lots of helpful information !!

Martasia Carter: Thank you for this review!! They say it's supposed to last 3-5 years... how is the hair holding up?

LetsGetJazzy: omg literally after 20 videos after looking for my vacation hair; you saved me!! THANK YOU AND SUBSCRIBED!! ❤️❤️

Layla Higgins: I was definitely going to get a closer because I’m getting in water. Glad I watched this video. I heard you say you brought 4 bundles. Are all 4 in during this video?

Jackie Bless: Subscribed and I’m getting the hair! Thanks for the review!

Kayan Johnson: $200 for 1 bundle?

Courtney: New subbie! Great video! I just purchased this hair for my birthday style!

Domme Queen Heather: I love your hair so much! ❤ Happy holidays beautiful ❤

Brenda Martin: Very good review. But what I will say is that who ever put your closure in did it the incorrect way. I have wore closures and they have always sewed it down without bands. You need to try and find someone who installs a closure correctly. Loved your review.

WP Snick: I’ve heard from many different sources that tresemme products are a huge no-no for raw hair. Do you still use it for the hair ? If so, would you still recommend ?

Brittany Christine: You’re so beautiful and personable!!! Definitely a wifey type

Ashley: Try putting the bundles on a u-part wig and sew the unit down with leave out. It’ll keep you from feeling the beards.

Adriana Villarreal: How many bundles do you recommend to get ?

tianna brooks: I just ordered on thanksgiving I’m excited

Sharida Combs: How do you control the frizz? I have been a customer for almost a year and the frizz is getting to me.

Kettaa Joseph: you are so polite its lovely, I have yummy and they are amazing, you look amazing

Demitri Welling: Excellent review

Lagina Washington: Does this hair blend well with natural hair. Or do you need closure with this hair?

Tiffany Greene: I purchased the same hair . For my daughter wedding . Does it hold curls ? I couldn’t keep a curl . besides that the hair is lovely .

Agness juul: That hair look great - please tell me where you got it. Bought lots of hair and after washing 2 times . I got to throw them. It costs me lots of money

Lili xo: I just bought their straight hair on sale but may get this next. Did you buy the hair on sale?

Keita Downing: Great video‼️❤️

Peta Gay: Lovely hair

D J.m.: Beautiful, imissed sale but ordering for daughter

Ritapooh1913 H: The hair is beautiful. When you curl your hair do you use heat protectant? Thanks

Kabrea Wilson: Do you shampoo it at all?

M R: finally a real one !!

Guerley: The link in the description, are they bundles? Or does it come as a wig? And how many bundles would you say came?

Jess N: How fast is shipping?

brea tabor: Do you wash the hair with Tresemme shampoo and then conditioner?? Or only conditioner?

APRIL APRIL: Kept looking for inserts ... when you said you insert

Yanna's Life: Can you review dare to have hair
