How To: Diy Highlights On Your Crochet Wig. Lace Closure Crochet Wig Using Braiding Hair!

In todays episode I´m going to show you how to fake hair dye on synthetic braiding hair. Highlights on hair are currently very popular, so this is how to put highlights in your DIY WIG using nothing else than synthetic braiding hair.

So welcome back to my youtube channel, i'm coca-cola for oyogurce.no and in today's episode i'm going to show you how to make highlights into your crochet wigs made out of braiding hair, and in case you have not noticed my hair - that i'm wearing right here is not Human hair: it's made out of braiding hair too. So if you want to have a tutorial on how to make a bob, wig write it in the comment section down below and i will make a tutorial so stay tuned. Since all of you have been asking me how i made a closure in next week's video, i will show you how i make a closure and how i made this beautiful wig things you'll be needing braiding hair, a wig cap, sharp scissors, a good brush and a Mini crochet needle i have a 4x4 closure made out of braiding hair and before doing anything, i pin the closure onto the wig cap. If you want to know how eventually write in the comment section down below and i'll make a tutorial, starting with the wig before making any wig, i always attach the wig cap onto my mannequin head for it not to slide away, and i know i've already started The process just for this video not to be too long but, as you can see, i've left one side out just for me to do this. For the demonstration purposes of this video, you have to have a system when making a wig. For me, i like to go angled, that's just the side of my preference. I started with the black color because i wanted the highlights to be more on the top any color that is underneath you're, not gon na see that you have to really focus on the highlights more on the top of the wig. What i do next is i just crochet my way so watch me crochet, so now that i'm done with the black part, it is time for me to add some color. I like working in sections. In my opinion, it just gives more depth to the highlights. You can decide in what sections you want to go with. I just decided to go with a little section up there and then change color, underneath i'm just alternating through the colors [ Applause ]. So now that i've completed a little section, you can see how the highlights are coming into place, as i'm ventilating, i just brush the hair for me to see how the hair is coming out. If i see that too much color is in one area, i have to change the color. I always brush the hair, because i want to see if the highlights are really coming into place, so i always brush as i'm ventilating. You will actually see me for the most part, ventilating and brushing in this video. Since you have already seen me ventilating, i didn't need to show you every single step of me ventilating, but you get the idea. I just continued with adding some color and then alternating between black brown and that caramel color, as you can see, the color is coming through and since the closure is black, i had to put a lot of color in the front. That'S why it looks somehow weird now, but don't worry it's gon na come into place as usual, i connected the closure with little knots along the line so now onto brushing, as i said, brushing is the key to success. Really, if you want to have a very neat, wig brush brush brush your way up to your success. So now i'm removing this inside piece of my closure that i didn't need. Please be very careful when doing this, because if you make a mistake here, then all your work was for nothing's sake, so be very careful. So now that i've cut off that excess piece of wig cap, i ventilate my closure. Don'T worry in next week's video. I will show you how i make my closures. As you can see, the wig looks kind of crazy right now, but it's gon na come into place. As you can see, i've put already some highlights in one side and the other side is still free from highlights. I'Ll just add some color in some seconds and voila beautiful highlights all over the place, and i did this off camera because the video is already very very long, but in next week's video i will show you how i make my closures. So this is the hair before my straightening treatment, a close-up of my closure that i customized with the color yeah. This is after my straightening treatment. As you can see, hair very flowy. The highlights are coming through and it's perfect like it looks very nice. It looks as if i dyed the hair, so the next step is for me to install the hair, and you see the inside are worked in sections. It doesn't matter in what sections you work just i prefer working in sections, because the highlights just look better installation. My client has a full head of natural hair, so i stretched her hair out and this is the braiding pattern that i decided to go with. So this is the finished look. I am so happy with this installation, like, oh, my god, my client looks like a snack. You cannot tell me that she doesn't look like a million dollars.
